After minutes of walking, Rodeo and Daniela were finally standing in the grasslands that surrounded the mighty factory of Karl Heisenberg. Rodeo noticed some old model speakers affixed to some metal and wooden poles. Before they could take a step forward, the two heard Heisenberg's voice over the speakers, which echoed throughout the area.
[Well, well, well. If it ain't good old Rodeo and... the tall lady's daughter. How the fuck are ya?] The voice through the speakers belonging to Karl Heisenberg said nonchalantly.
"We need entrance into your factory." Rodeo responded, "Could you please open the shutter doors?"
[First of all, tell the little red over there to stay outside. You're coming in alone, and there will be no explosions or boulder punching as you enter. Ba-bye.]
There was a screech as Heisenberg's audio speakers presumably went silent.
'Boulder punching, I always wonder how he knows Chris.' Rodeo wondered.
"I have a bad feeling about this." Daniela murmured as she stood by his side
"Just do what he says and don't worry, I'll be back."
"You better, or I just might miss petting your ears."
"Awww, how adorable of you think about me," Rodeo said jokingly.
"I'm not adorable!"
"Okay, I get it." Rodeo chuckled, "Well, here I go."
Heading for the entrance, the shutter doors open, allowing Rodeo to enter the factory before the shutter doors behind him closes. With a calm expression, Rodeo looked around and saw scrap metal and other junk scattered all over the room before walking further and making a right turn to see a dusty old curtain covering something on a wall.
"Hmm…"
Walking over to the curtain and pulling it aside without hesitation, Rodeo discovered a wall covered in a series of photos and hastily scrawled text in large red lettering. In the center was a portrait of Miranda, this one had two large tares in it and the word 'MOTHER' written beneath it in massive letters.
Surrounding it were three slightly smaller pictures showing the other three lords, Dimitrescu, Donna and Moreau. Under each one, like with Miranda, were messages written in red marker that seemed to reflect each Lord accurately. 'Witch' for Dimitrescu, 'Doll' for Donna and 'Fish man' for Moreau.
"Woah…"
As Rodeo's attention was drawn to them, a voice could be heard behind him, asking in an ominous, almost usually quiet tone.
"So, do you understand what's happening here yet?"
Spinning around, Rodeo saw Karl Heisenberg standing at the entrance to the room, with his metal hammer no longer in his hand. He took an out-boxer stance and since he also had his weapons as well so he felt ready enough, but his injuries from yesterday's fight were still not healed though.
"You'd better have a good reason to allow me in here alone."
"Actually, I do." Heisenberg replied as he gently nodded his head, pulled up a metal chair and gestured to it, "Take a seat."
"Hmm... alright."
As Rodeo sat on the small metal seat, Karl walked towards the wall with the pictures and papers on them, removing his glasses, he paused for a moment, both of them silent until he abruptly stated.
"Now look, kid. You're being played."
Rodeo raised an eyebrow, asking, "And by play you mean it involves Mother Miranda?"
Heisenberg let out an abrupt laugh before saying "Yes, you see, you might think you survived her wrath because of your persuading tactics yesterday, but believe me she saw through your little words perfectly. The only reason she's even keeping you alive is because you're powerful, and definitely use you to get rid of us, while you'll be on top and to see you're worthy of being part of her little 'family' and her plans," he stated, "He will test you, kid, and take part in her plans to bring back something important."
"But I don't want to be part of her so-called family."
"Well, neither did I, and yet here we are!" Karl exclaims as he spreads his arms, sighing as he paces back and forth, "Now look, kid, I've been preparing a rebellion and making an army for myself for years, but with you arriving, well... I need your help."
"What sort of help?"
"It's simple actually." Heisenberg's grin remained as he explained, "Now look, I've been wanting vengeance against Miranda for taking my humanity and working with her without even being given a fucking choice! We are nothing more than pawns to her in this... 'family' she keeps calling it and us her children. Well I say to hell with her family!"
He leaned forward again, saying, "We can do it together. You, me, Rodeo. We're gonna take out the other Lords and the Lycan pack, and with my army, you and I, we can rip Miranda to shreds! She won't stand a chance. What do you say?"
Continuing to sit down, not responding, Rodeo was thinking about what he was talking about. Of course, he expected he would reveal his plans to Rodeo, and he understood where he was coming from, allying with him would make dealing with Miranda far easier, even almost all of the players of Resident Evil agreed.
However...
"...No."
Rodeo's answer initially caused Heisenberg's eyes to widen, "...What the fuck do you mean no?!"
Standing up from his chair, Rodeo glared up at him as he said, "Going against mother Miranda, I get it. Your reason for despising her, I get it. But I'm not gonna turn the village into a warzone, and put people in the crossfire, especially since I ain't killing the other Lords just for you."
"Rodeo, once everything is said and done, we can leave this place and never come back. We'll be free men! So why the hell are you against my plans?!"
"Look, Heisenberg, I've been feeling conflicted."
"Conflicted? About what?"
"Look, the rest of the lords, I know they've done some wrong things that can't be forgiven and yet... I don't want to end them because if I do, I might just lose it."
"What the hell are you saying, kid?"
"Look, Alcina loves her daughters a lot, Donna is alone and without family with Angie the only one being there for her, and Moreau just wants to be known and be loved, while you... you wanted freedom. If I kill the other three lords, Karl, I might become something worse." Rodeo answered, "I can take them out but I fear I will lose the humanity I have, so I'm not gonna kill them, and I'll deal with Miranda my way."
With a grave expression, he continued, "Whether you like it or not, I'm not a killer, despite the fact that I have that word on my name of the Stand I've become, I'm just a person who wants what's best for someone, not robbing them of their lives and the things they cherish."
Standing right in front of Karl Heisenberg's face and looking him dead in the eye, Rodeo asked, "You want freedom, right? Then let me tell you something, I'm not gonna be part of your rebellion and I ain't gonna follow your plan on killing the other lords. Miranda will be dealt with my way, rather than yours. Goodbye."
Turning around, Rodeo heads for the door when Karl stops him by saying.
"And what about me? Clearly, I've turned a huge load of people into machines, and I've also done some horrible stuff as well. You're not gonna let those slide, are you?"
"I won't, but I can destroy everything you've built with my explosions or by telling Miranda, the latter of which will result in your imminent demise."
With those words leaving with Karl, Rodeo then used his bomb to blast a hole through the door open.
"Kid, you're still seeing things in the world from a small angle rather than a large one," Karl stated solemnly, "One day you'll be forced to make a hard and quick choice, and if you feel conflicted or hesitate that day, everything will come crashing down on you."
Listening to Karl's words, Rodeo stood there in silence, he already heard those many times in his mind, and he knew he was completely right. He will, however, think about it afterwards, but he will keep it in mind though.
He has to ask an important question and the real reason he was here for.
"...Before I leave, do you have any VHS player, set-top box, or anything else for getting Moreau's TV to broadcast something?"
"...Piss off, kid."
"Fine."
Finally, Rodeo exited the room through the hole he made on the door, leaving Karl with his back against the wall, his arms crossed as he sighed in exasperation.
"Son of a bitch. Rodeo, you'll live to regret your decisions if you don't see from a bigger angle soon."

Daniela stood in the grasslands outside the factory, waiting for Rodeo. After a few minutes of waiting, she finally saw Rodeo approaching her.
"What did he say?"
"...Just got insults from him, nothing else." Rodeo explained, "Anyways, where is Mother Miranda?"
"Wait, are you gonna make your decision? This quick?"
"Yeah, where can I find her?"
"Umm... then what about this aether we're investigating?"
"We'll deal with it later, right now I need to know where Miranda is."
"Then follow me."
Moving forward, Rodeo follows Daniela as she brings him to where Miranda might be.
