In the grassy hillsides of Spain, lies a town with ordinary houses built of wood and brick, a factory which is not anomalous, a few small buildings, stores and cars here and there, but the town was deserted and quiet. Too quiet in fact that the only sounds were the wind and the creaking of open doors being moved by the wind. The town went dark a few days ago, which led to the whereabouts of several local investigators from neighboring towns who went to investigate there but they never came back.
This caught the attention of the SCP Foundation. Speaking of the foundation...
——————————————————————
A hundred meters outskirts of the town, a group of seven individuals wearing high-tech armor and armed with M16 carbine rifles and gallock pistols with silencer barrels and holographic sights. Because it was nighttime, their armor was camouflaged in matte gray and black to blend in with the shadows. Both of their armor's shoulder pads bore the Scp foundations logo as well as the logo of Mobile Task Force, Omega-141.
Designated as "Queen's Requiem"
These seven individuals were Nikolai, the one who has become 'The Hand'. Miguel, the one who has become 'Black Sabbath'. Michelle, the one who has become 'Spice girl'. Jacob, the one who has become 'King Crimson'. Robert, the one who has become 'Crazy Diamond'. Agent Thomas Green, despite not becoming a Stand like the rest, he is a Stand user with his stand 'Cerberus'. And fnally, the leader of Queen's Requiem, Rodeo, the one who has become 'Killer Queen'.
They were currently hidden behind a couple of trees and bushes, overlooking the town from a small cliffside using the binocular zoom in and out feature of their helmets lens.
"Town is dead quiet, comrade Rodeo. I highly doubt there are any survivors." Nickolai was the first to speak out.
"...I know." Rodeo acknowledged his statement before turning on the transmission in his helmet to command, "This is Alpha leader from Queen's Requiem to command. Requesting permission to enter the town for investigation and recovery or destruction of the anomaly or entity causing this. Over?" he asked in a serious but commanding tone.
[Copy that, Alpha Leader. You are given a full green light for the mission. Good luck out there, Queen's Requiem. Over and out.]
Once the transmission call ended, Rodeo glanced around at his team members.
"Queen's Requiem… Going dark."
With his remarks, everyone pressed a button on their helmets, activating the night vision mode on it and making their helmet lenses shine luminous green, at least from their first person perspective.
(A/n: The night vision sound effect is the same as that of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Just letting you know.)

A few minutes later, the team stealthily approaches the town quietly and discreetly, with Rodeo taking the lead and his team close behind, checking left and right with their guns in case they get ambushed or if someone is spying on them.
"What do you think might have caused them to really disappear?" Green asked.
"Three possibilities. One, Scps. Two, Stand users or Human Stands. Three, all of the bloody above together wrapped together in a neat little present and ready to burst out of it and surprise us like it's our damn birthday." Jacob replied sarcastically but quietly.
"Cut the chatter and focus, Jacob." Rodeo stated to him with a deep frown.
"Mate, I'm just-"
"Do you want a repeat of what happened to you due to a certain little D4C incident?"
"..."
"Thought so. Stay focused and be ready if we encounter any resistance." Rodeo stated before he focused his attention to Green. "Green, did your Stans pick up anything?"
Green slightly shook his head in response, "Got nothing from Cerberus' hearing for now at least. Whatever made this town go quiet might be hiding really quietly."
"Guys, we're here." Michelle silently called out to the others, causing the team to come to a halt in front of the town's main entrance.
"Stay sharp team. If it's a hostile SCP, pull the trigger or go for capture if it's a Stand user or a Human Stand."
The team nodded and entered the town through the main entrance. As they were walking along the town's streets, they were met with nothing but silence and sounds of creaking caused by doors that had been left open and were being moved by the wind, hence the creaking noise.
"Miguel, jump into the shadows and search every house, store and building and even that factory for any signs of life." Rodeo turned his attention to Miguel and instructed him, "If you run into a problematic situation, don't hesitate in calling us for help. Me and the rest will search the streets in case the entity or whatever is keeping this place quiet, alright?"
"Si, amigo." Miguel nodded before diving into the shadows and beginning his search, while Rodeo and the others remained on the streets of the ghost town.
——————————————————————
Miguel's POV:
Jumping from shadow to shadow, I have searched every house, stores and the small building, and they're all empty, but I did notice some furniture in the houses was moved or thrown here and there judging by how they were lying around, and I spotted blood stains in some of the walls of the houses as well, which I then scanned with my helmet's bio scanner
…and found something odd.
One was normal human blood stains, but the other blood stains, or I assumed were blood stains, were… corrosive actually.
'Two different stains of blood, one of which is, yet we haven't felt a Stand presence here. It must be an Scp.' I thought, frowning at this conclusion.
Before this occurs, me and the rest have been working harder than ever since the attack on Site-17 by D4C a week back, and we've been nonstop trying to find reports or anything related to D4C or any of the powerful Stands out there, as well as the Pillar Men. However, the vast majority of them, if not all of them, were SCP-939 related reports or Chaos Insurgency related activities, and nothing new was discovered. Even the Chaos Insurgency's project 'Jaeger' is still a mystery to us despite raiding many of their bases, with our only speculation being that it could be a bio weapon; I've seen enough Resident Evil and Prototype to know how bioweapons can go.
Anyways, I hopped into another shadow and made my way to this town's factory. When I looked around, it was so dark that not even a light source could be seen, but the night vision goggles on our helmets makes it easier. Then I searched the factory while remaining vigilant just in case I was ambushed.
This town reminded me a lot about the times whenever my mother would take me to visit my relatives in a small town when I was five years old. Even though there was no factory there, it was always enjoyable to see the town so lively, vibrant, lovely, and beautiful. But that is the real world from which I came, and this is the Scp world, where the darkest of monstrous nightmares will snatch the life out of beautiful things and lead to the ugly side of darkness. However, we shall extinguish the flames of evil so that the light of goodness may shine upon it once again.
As I was deep in contemplation, I suddenly heard something drop on the ground and turned around in a panic. There was something was here.
"¿Qué diablos está pasando?/Just what the hell is going on?" I wondered, increasing my guard even higher.
I then jumped into a shadow and emerged at the next one out being cast on a catwalk, which I was now standing on. Using the catwalk as my high ground, I gained a better view of the factory, so I used my rifle scope to look around the factory before I found... it?
"A los ojos de Albert Wesker/By the eyes of Albert Wesker." I muttered in a horrified tone.
The creature I spotted was a humanoid that looked like a featherless chicken, with deathly pale white skin and a somewhat human-like face that was just horrifying to see... and I knew exactly what it was.

"SCP-3199. That could explain the corrosiveness I found and why the town went dark. It's because of these... things."
Of all the Scps I don't fear, that thing… It frightens me to the core.
I knew these things had a tendency to proliferate and increase their numbers at an alarming rate. I'm just wondering how many are hiding in this town or are stalking us like hunters. Then the transmission in my helmet turned on, and it was Rodeo.
[Miguel, you there?]
"Amigo, I found an instance of SCP-3199 in the factory. These things no doubt might be the reason why the town went dark. These things are definitely responsible, and I found the red corrosive acid they make in one of the houses. I suggest you keep your guard up while I neutralize the one in the factory."
[Yeah… about that. We found them and…]
"And?"
[They actually found us first, they have surrounded us in the middle of the town square, and…]
——————————————————————
Third Person POV:
"...They have the high ground." Rodeo finished his words to Miguel over the transmission.
Right now, Rodeo and the rest of the team were in the middle of the town square, where over a hundred Scp-3199 instances were standing on top of the houses and smaller buildings and structures, glaring at them... with their creepy humanoid faces.
"One minute of stealth, and then we get into a fight. Yep, it's Call of Duty all over again." Robert grumbled with an annoyed look.
"And the fact that they have the high ground." Michelle added, staring at the terrifying monstrosities, some of which made low screech noises.
Slightly glancing at Green's direction, Rodeo softly whispered, "Green, I need you to use Cerberus' new ice ability that you discovered a few days ago. These things will multiply due to heat and we'll be outnumbered then."
"Got it." Green nodded and returned his gaze at the monsters, "But they haven't attacked us yet.'
"Keyword 'yet'." Said Nickolai.
"What about Miguel?" Jacob asked.
"I've already told Miguel through the radio." Rodeo replied, "He'll be here once he's done killing 3199 from his end."
But then one of the 3199s let out an inhuman screech, driving all of the 3199s to charge towards them from all angles, not noticing Cerberus had a surprise for them.
"NOW!"
"WAAAAR!"
Manifesting on top of the group, Cerberus let out a huge war cry and punched the ground, creating a massive and powerful blizzard that froze all 3199 instances and hundreds of meters in the surrounding area.
In just a fraction of a second, the hundreds of 3199 instances and countless houses and buildings in the range were frozen and turned into ice sculptures along with the surrounding environment.
The once creepy ghost town everyone was in has now literally turned into Antarctica.
"All too easy." Rodeo smiled confidently, before his eyes turned coldly, "Shatter them."
At the following moment, Rodeo and the rest fired their carbine rifles, shattering the frozen 3199s into thousands of pieces and quickly neutralizing them easily without much effort.
"They really thought they had us, but they shouldn't underestimate Stands." Michelle said as she stopped firing her gun when she sees nothing left of them.
"Yeah." Jacob said in response to Michelle's statement. Then, he and the rest received a call from Miguel.
[Guys, I killed the 3199 I found in the factory and it puked out some eggs. Luckily they didn't hatch due to the lack of heat, but…]
"But?"
[I found more of the eggs in a closed off area of the factory. 200 to 300 at least. I advise you to get to the factory.]
"Alright, we're coming." Rodeo said before he and his team head for the factory.
——————————————————————
A minute later, they finally reached the factory and were greeted by Miguel, who guided them to the closed-off section of the factory where the eggs were, and much like Miguel said, they were at least 200 to 300 of them.
"Green, report to command about 3199 and tell them we are destroying the eggs they left." Rodeo ordered him.
"And how are you gonna destroy them?" Green asked, "These eggs are stated to be harder than steel."
Smiling, he looked at Nikolai and said, "Nickolai… scrape them out of existence."
"Da comrade."
Cracking his knuckles, Nickolai proceeded to use his right hand and destroyed all of the eggs by erasing them from existence, sending them to the other side, and the ones that Miguel found were also erased by his right hand.
"We're done here." Rodeo announces to the team once it was finished. But he heaved a frustrating sigh, "And again this incident wasn't Stand related. Damn it."
