Chapter 38 - Rubber is Stronger than Diamond(1)

(Kamchatka Krai, Russia - 7:15 AM)

(First Person Pov)

Greetings, my name is Michelle Keegan. Before I became the Stand known as Spice girl, I was 19 years old, had lilac eyes, long strawberry blond hair and light pale skin.

I was born in Columbus, Ohio and even my parents were from there as well. But when I was just 6 years old, I lost both of them in a car crash. I was there in the car when the incident happened and while I survived... my parents didn't.

After that, I was raised by my Aunt and Uncle, although they are family, I still miss mom and dad. Sometimes in my dreams, I... relive that crash as a nightmare.

Anyways, I did get into college in Ohio as a 1st year student and made some friends, became an anime fan as well. Life was normal until the pandemic started, so we stayed at our homes and pretty much did online classes. Well I did finish 1st semester through online classes so yay me.

I also have a pet Birman cat named Lizzie and I had her since childhood as a kitten.

But on the 26th of February, I got a package and inside of it was a wearable Spice Girl and weirdly a flower pot. Pretty much I wore the helmet, and my cat was just, you know, messing with the flower pot until we both got pulled into the flower pot, like being pulled into a black hole in space.

Next thing I knew I was stuck in this forest.

Where exactly? I have no idea and my sweet, adorable and precious Lizzie is missing. She could be out there, somewhere looking for help. I hope she's ok. So I was stuck in the forest for like a week I think, and have been roaming around looking for civilization or any place where I can make contact with some good people ever since.

Currently, I'm still walking in the forest looking for anybody to help me and also where the hell I am. While I can't feel hunger or sleep, I miss the taste of human food.

"Ughhhhh! I really miss home, eating food, watching anime, playing games, being with my cat... and manga." I said with literal anime tears streaming down my eyes.

I'm not sure what I'm doing. Continuously walking and being chased by the biggest bear I've ever seen isn't getting me anywhere. I sighed and kept walking until I spotted something or someone I think.

"Hmm, I wonder who that is?" I decided to approach the unknown person, and when I got close to the person, a shot was fired next to my feet startling me and stopping me in my tracks.

I then look at the person and he says.

"I suggest you don't move, little girl." He said in a Russian accent.

Little girl? Me? I'm not sure who he is but that wasn't very nice. I'm GODDAMN 19 for God's sake.

"Who are you? Are you friend or foe? Because I'm very lost right now."

The person started approaching me and I got a very good look at him. He was actually very tall and had green armor of some sort and was holding an M60 machine gun.

Now how do I know about firearms? Well I've played Call of Duty so I know. Now the armored man was standing right in front of me which he looked kinda scary.

"Who are you and why are you here in Kamchatka krai?" He asked me.

"Wait... did you say kamchatka krai?"

"Yes I did."

"I'm in Russia?!"

"Yes, little girl. You are in Russia."

I then yelled panickingly, "Oh. My. Goddd! I'mstuckandfarawayfromhomeandiminrussia.Noishouldbeinohio-!"

"Enough!" He yelled at me in a commanding tone.

I then stopped my panic talk due to his yelling.

He sighed, "Can you at least tell me your name?"

"It's Michelle. Michelle Keegan and who are you, sir?" I asked him.

"I am Major Alexie Belitrov. Otherwise known to the foundation as SCP-2273."

Wait? SCP? They're that horror wiki site on the internet that talks about monsters right?

Hm, neat.

Hold the fuck. Wait... don't tell me I'm in this little forsaken world.

"Uhhh, Mr. Alexie, does the foundation have a sort of white logo to it?"

"Why yes it does. But how do you know about the foundation?"

'Yep, I'm going to die in this world.' I thought with anime tears streaming down my eyes again.

"Are you an SCP of some sort, Michelle?"

"No, I was a human once and now I've become this Stand."

"Stand? Oh! I see. So you're one of the ones the foundation has told us about and warned us to keep an eye on."

"Huh?" I said with a confused face.

"Michelle, are you familiar with SCP-6601-1 and SCP-6601-2 otherwise known as "The Killer Queen" and "The World."

My eyes widened. Those were Stand names alright. That means I'm not the only one, but those belonged to villains. I wonder if they are on the good side.

"Yes I am. Mr. Alexie, are those two on the good side or the bad side?"

"I haven't met them myself personally yet. But according to the site director of site-19, she said that they are on our side."

"Well, that's a relief."

"Follow me, Michelle. We have a camp, not far from here."

"We?"

"Yes, I'm not the only one in this forest. Now follow me."

I nodded, and so we started walking towards wherever the hell he was going. He seems nice. Sure he does give out that soldier vibe, but he seems nice.

To think that I'm in the world of SCPs, it's kinda scary. I've read most of the articles on the wiki, not all of them, so my knowledge might be limited.

Then Alexie asked me, "How long have you been in this forest?"

"Not sure, a week maybe."

"I see. You're not feeling hungry are you?"

"I can't feel hunger and I can't even sleep as well. It's like I don't need it all."

"Is that so?"

"Yes."

"Don't worry, Michelle. The Foundation has some kind ones. I once met a girl named Ruby. She understood what I went through and was a true friend along with the other foundation staff as well, but she's now retired and living a happy life with comrade Tommy. Those were good times."

"Well, I'm glad that you met such good people."

"That's the thing, Michelle, it's always the good people who understand you and it's always good people like them who go away quickly. Either living a happy life or resting in the heavens."

I looked down and understood what he meant. Good people don't always stay on your side forever, but at least they do something for you before they go away.

Give you love and kindness, understand your problems, teaching you the meaning of life and how to live happily in a world and telling you how to do the right thing. Something my parents did before they passed away.

"My friend, we are here."

I broke away from my train of thought and looked ahead and saw a camp.

There were some big tents with a large number of soldiers in dark clothing roam around and talking to each other with some military Humvees mounted with machine guns attached on top of them with the foundation's logo on the side of the door.

"So how are they gonna react when they see me?" I asked Alexie.

"Don't worry. I'll tell them that you're friendly and you mean no harm. They will understand."

I nodded and then went into the camp. We entered the camp and saw some soldiers looking at us.

Alexie then approached them and started talking to them. No doubt, he was telling them that I'm not a threat.

Alexie then came back to me, "I talked with my comrades. They will allow you to stay in the camp while I told them also that you mean no harm."

"Thank you, Mr. Alexie." I said with a smile.

Alexie chuckles, "Just call me, Alexie."

"Alright, Alexie."

"Good, now follow me. I'll show you where you're staying for now."

I followed him and we both entered a big tent. It had bunk beds which mostly I think you would see in a military base rather than a camp. But I do need to relax a little.

"This will be your quarters for now. And also if you need anything, don't be afraid to ask. Alright?"

"Alright."

He nodded before leaving. I sat on one of the beds and immediately felt relaxed as I laid down on it.

"Finally, a bed after all this time. At least I don't have to deal with a huge ass bear anymore."
