Yusoph had finally entered the Forest of Lloyd just to gather a bunch of dry wood and branches as a medium for making a bonfire during the night.
Rubick watches his mother and the Priestess helping each other in organizing the camp and preparing the necessary supplies they needed to consume during the night. Rubick had taken the initiative of helping his mother rather than being idle at the moment.
"Mama…? Rubick… wants…to…help…you." Rubick bubbly said at his mother but the truth was, he was really tired of acting like a three-year-old child.
"Are you sure my little boy? Do you want to help your Mama?" Mary asked her son twice just for confirming that Rubick had not been lying about helping them out in regard to organizing the camping site that they have been preparing currently.
"Yet…Mama!!" he answered without any hesitation in his voice.
After Rubick had said that, he quickly went closer to his mother and he helped his mother and the Priestess in bringing the necessary things in a lighter weight.
{30 minutes had passed}
Yusoph had safely returned to where he had left his family while gathering some dry branches of wood.
Right now, Yusoph can be seen lifting a huge number of dry wood branches on his shoulder rather than using any magic spell as another sort of transporting them.
The Priestess had seen the current situation of Yusoph and she immediately asked him without thinking "Why didn't you use some utility magic spell of yours?"
"I would never dare, and it's because there are some unknown predator monsters inside the forest. According to some information from the Grand Scholar that had been leaked, there are huge monsters inside the Forest of Lloyd and they are all quite unique from each other, there are monsters that can turn invisible, a monster that can detect an outsider's mana, and some had almost godlike abilities which were incomparable to mine." Yusoph had shared some confidential information that the Grand Scholar had discovered from the Forest of Lloyd.
Mary, Isabelle, and Rubick's eyes had started shining at what they had learned from Yusoph. Especially, about the monsters with unique abilities.
Yusoph had putted-down the dry wood branches on the surface and he immediately stretches his sore shoulder caused by his lifting.
"Okay, we can start making a bonfire right now, in order for us to resist the cool wind of the night." Yusoph said to them.
The Priestess and her best friend, Mary, arranged the branches of wood in a circular shape, and after they finished organizing the wood, Yusoph lighted it up by using a simple "Fire" magic spell.
"You can all settle down now while I'm distributing these breads." Mary informed them.
"Bread? Do you have bread? Unfortunately, mine, I only brought a small portion of meat." Priestess Isabelle said to them while she had been digging-up again on her evacuation baggage and pulled a piece of fresh meat.
Once again, Yusoph had been dumbfounded at the Priestess, even Rubick's eyes had become as wide as they could possibly be.
"Ah… Priestess Isabelle, don't worry about that one. Truthfully, you are lucky enough to bring a piece of meat rather than just a piece of bread." Mary awkwardly said to her best friend.
"If you don't want to eat that piece of meat as a whole, you can probably share that one with us, right?" Mary said to Priestess Isabelle, even though Yusoph and Rubick can feel that it's quite wrong but when it comes to Mary, surprisingly, it doesn't feel wrong at all!
"You know what Mary? You're truly the kind of friend that everyone needed, and it's because you are really worried about me." Priestess Isabelle's emotionally sad reply to Mary.
"Yes, Priestess Isabelle, I am really worried about you. Here, you can have this bread and we can have a portion of that meat, okay?" she said to the poor Priestess. Mary possessed a Goddess beauty but unfortunately, she is not a Goddess at all when it comes to her inside characteristics. To be precise, her inside characteristics are comparable to a scammer.
"Wow!!! I didn't know that my Mama can be a devil sometimes!!" Rubick's thoughts inside his head.
After a few minutes had passed, Yusoph had succeeded in dividing the meat that the Priestess had gratefully shared with them. While Mary had also prepared a few numbers of pointed wood that they can use as a supporting medium in able for them to cook the meat under the flame that comes from the bonfire itself.
The priestess pierced the pieces of meat using the wood that Mary had prepared and she set them near the bonfire to gradually cook it.
A few moments of waiting had passed and finally, the pieces of meat were all ready to be eaten by them. The priestess grabbed the wooden stick with a slice of meat at the top and she immediately said "Praise the Goddess of Life for the food!" and she directly took a bite at the poor meat in front of her.
Yusoph had grabbed some wooden sticks with a slice of meat on them at the top, and he manually distributed it to his family. Mary received it wholeheartedly and she thanked the Priestess after. For Rubick, Yusoph had sat beside him and surprisingly, his father had been blowing the piece of meat through his mouth to gradually cool it and later on, feed it to his little son.
Mary saw the sweetest moment that she can witness for the very first time, especially, in regard to the fatherly bond that had been happening in front of her, she can only smile silently which was caused by the father and son. Mary was really grateful that she met Yusoph, she didn't even know if Yusoph would be angry at her in the future if she unfolded the truth about her real family.
"Mary, why aren't you eating yet?" Yusoph asked these words to his currently dazed wife.
"Huh? Ah… No! I already took a bite, Yusoph." the only response she can give to her husband's thrown question.
