Andy was relieved that Marla wasn't upset with him, and he hugged her back tightly. He could smell her familiar perfume, and it brought a smile to his face. Betsy and Veronica looked on with amusement, both of them wearing the same heavy makeup and revealing clothing as the other women in Libertyland.
Marla pulled away from Andy and examined his bloody nose. "Oh my god, are you okay?" she asked, her voice full of concern.
"I'll be fine," I said, trying to reassure her. He was still a little shaken from the altercation with the Customs agent, but he didn't want to worry Marla any more than she already was.
Veronica stepped forward and handed me a tissue to clean his nose. "That guy was crazy," she said, rolling her eyes. "He totally lost it."
