As I approach her mother's room I see Madison talking to him, to Christian.
He stands with his back towards me and I see a stressed Madison in front of him.
She runs her hands through her hair and looks up at him. "Remind me to remove you as a emergency contact."
"Please, you know you want me here." I hear him say.
Madison shakes her head at him and catches a glimpse of me standing further away from them.
She returns her focus to him. "What part of 'I've moved on' don't you understand? For fuck sake Chris, my mom is lying there in a fucking coma and here you are making everything once again about you."

I move abit back and take a seat on a chair against the wall.
