Chapter 1 - 1. MARRIED SOON

A sweet smile continued to appear on Kaisar's plump lips when he had just left the courtroom.

How could it not be, it was based on the case he was handling he managed to win. Truly this was once again a great achievement for Kaisar.

"Congratulations, Bro!" said Ginda, a friend and confidant of Kaisar at the law firm he currently leads, Ernaldi and Partners Law Firm.

Kaisar only smiled a thin smile on his plump lips in response to what was said by Ginda or more precisely Baginda Eka Prayuda.

"It's okay." Kaisar dodged very quickly because the man adhered to the principle that we shouldn't get carried away with all forms of flattery, because most mosquitoes die because of a round of applause.

"Still cool as Baginda Eka Prayuda." Hearing what Kaisar said, Ginda just rolled his eyes very lazily.

"Oh My God … it's just part of being humble to skyrocket. I know very well the character and character that is in you." To what Ginda had just said, Kaisar gave no further response.

"Don't want to be celebrated?" Because the question that had just come out of Ginda's ripe lips very quickly, Kaisar now changed his focus on his best friend, accompanied by a very sharp look in his eyes, "I'm fasting." The fast meant by Kaisar was of course not just any fast and the celebration that Ginda wanted was also not limited to lunch or dinner.

The celebration that Ginda wanted was a nightclub party and the fast that Kaisar meant was having sex. "Repentance? Since when?" asked Ginka who was still unable to properly analyze Kaisar's intentions.

"Just need a pause, not repentance." It was really easy for Kaisar to say as if what they were discussing was not an easy sin to get forgiveness from the universe.

"Repentance when?" Ginda asked this time with a very innocent look on her face. But Kaisar really had to deepen his patience when the one he spoke to was Ginda, because his best friend always knew how to erode the patience of this man with dark eyes as dark as obsidian.

"Later, when I've met the wife." Because of the answer given by Kaisar, now Ginda only responded by rolling his eyes very lazyly.

If Kaisar had said Ginda could no longer refuse him.

"The word is a prayer that after this you will soon meet your soulmate." If at this time Kaisar was asked about what was the biggest wish in his life, Kaisar would very clearly say that he had hit Ginda's head.

"What a joke!" Kaisar cursed. And what Kaisar said could easily be heard by Ginda because of the distance between them which currently had no barrier.

"Hey, where are you from? I am praying for you, which is good, even more, it is said to be ridiculous. If that's ridiculous then what about the sane person's version of prayer that you mean, huh?" Ginda asked in a very shrill tone.

"No, I'm not ready to get married yet. As a friend you should know and also understand that." Kaisar put emphasis at the end of his sentence, so that it was an important point and also a special consideration for Ginda. "What's missing, Sar? Established? Already. Brilliant career? Very. Achievement? Lots. You're ready to get married. It's like worship, you have to hurry up." Kaisar also did not want to deny that what Ginda had said just now was the truth that he himself could not avoid.

"Yes, you are right that getting married is like breaking the fast, it must be hastened, but we also have to remember that not all the evening calls to prayer resound at the same time." Ginda couldn't speak anymore. All of Ginda's movements had been frozen very well by Kaisar.

"It's up to you, the most important thing is all the best prayers I will say for you." Kaisar only had a luscious smile on his ripe lips at this time. He knew that Ginda was always sincere in praying for him.

***

Kaisar, who was currently shrouded in fatigue after the long day that had passed, was now again made dizzy by a sudden call from his father asking him to come home.

It has been a year now that Kaisar has been living separately from his father, ever since the man he was so proud of also hailed a woman to replace a woman who meant a lot to Kaisar, whose son's first love was not his mother. Kaisar was only disappointed, luckily he didn't lose control of himself. It had been five minutes since Kaisar's car had been parked neatly in the garage of the Ernaldi family's main house.

The house is also a silent witness to his life's journey from time to time. The ringing of Kaisar's gadget rang loudly and it was more than enough to break Kaisar's reverie for a short time.

There is the name of the daddy which currently fills the screen of his device. Kaisar did not answer the phone. He then brought himself into the house. I don't know what was the reason for summoning him here, but what Kaisar could feel was that this was not an easy matter.

"Kaisar? You're home, son?" Restu asked his eldest son. Kaisar only pulled the corners of his lips into a thin smile there. And Restu should have been sensitive if that was Kaisar's way of answering what the papi had answered.

"Can we just get straight to the point, Dad? Why did Daddy call me home?" asked Kaisar in a tone that sounded curt and during this year Restu had gotten used to it and when this happened he could do nothing but expand his chest for the umpteenth time. "According to what is your wish, Sar." Kaisar was silent, but not with his mind which kept on guessing what Restu really wanted.

"Daddy wants you to get married, Sar!" Kaisar's lower jaw opened neatly when he heard what Daddy just said. Of all Restu's many wishes in the world, why should the word marry come out of his mind first?

"Marry?" repeated Kaisar still with a big question mark in his mind at this time.

"Yes. Don't refuse, Sar! As daddy's son you should know that daddy doesn't like to be contradicted."

"Daddy doesn't like to be contradicted, does he? Then what's up with me who doesn't like to be forced, Dad?" Restu had indeed suspected that what he said would not be made easy by Kaisar.

"Dad ... I'm 28 years old, I can find my own life partner." Restu only smiled his trademark evil smile when he heard what his son said.

It wasn't Restu's intention to belittle Kaisar, but indeed his son deserved it.

"Precisely because you are already 28 years old. God may be tired of arranging you, so just for your soul mate, He has chosen to give up."

"Marry the woman of your choice or do you leave our firm?" The offer that Restu gave really didn't have the impression of being happy, no matter where you look at it, it still leaves an impression that is far from okay.

"All decisions are with you, but Daddy asked you to choose the option with the least risk. You understand, right?"
