Finally, after three years Kai lived as an ordinary human, and he was able to use his Edha Sword again.
Edha's sword is one of the Eleven Sword Masters that is only passed down to Gamma's sons and daughters. The Eleven Sword Masters are the legacy of the legendary wizard of the Gamma family.
Kai's Edha sword is one of the strongest. The sword was considered a holy sword because it could absorb a person's dark power and then neutralize it before being transferred to the owner of the sword.
The power of Edha's sword will continue to grow, and so will its owner. But if Edha's sword absorbs too much dark power, then it can boomerang for Kai if he can't control it. Because Kai still hasn't mastered Rein's magic (the magic that appears naturally. Great Magic Power that can be used without using weapons. Rein's magic is also one of the conditions for magicians who want to reach the final form of their power which is called Pyua).
Within seconds, Kai and Rex had arrived at Isla's home area. The two of them had just used teleportation magic by swapping their bodies with two trash cans on the nearby streets. Hopefully, no one complains because the trash cans in that place are always missing.
The gray house is deserted. Even the bright light from the Emrys Legacy did not glow indicating that Isla was currently asleep. Two security guards were walking around the complex chatting with each other. Kai and Rex were hiding in a shady tree at that time. They had just sped toward Isla's house when the two security guards had walked far enough.
Arriving at the window of Isla's room, Kai pushed aside the curtains and made sure that Isla was inside. With Rex's help, in an instant, the trellis on the window was gone. The two figures looked like thieves in action.
Kai rushed to jump into Isla's room, stepping on the table slowly so as not to make a sound. The girl was sleeping with her body facing the wall. It shouldn't be a problem to bring it in as it is.
That was Kai's original plan, to take Isla by force and explain the situation when they arrived at Amalthea. But unfortunately, Isla's sensitivity also works when she is sleeping.
The girl suddenly got up in surprise. Pointing a knife at the two intruders who were now standing in front of her with the same surprised face.
"Who are you? What do you want?"
Isla looked at Kai who raised his hand at gunpoint just like that. Her eyes traced the youth who had changed his hair color back to its original color.
"You? The teacher?" exclaimed Isla. Her eyes widened when she realized that the figure that had intruded into her room was her school's counseling teacher.
"So it's true, you've been spying on me. What do you want? Who are you?"
"I'm sorry Isla. This may come as a bit of a shock to you, but I came here because I have an assignment. And that task requires me to take you somewhere."
"So you want to kidnap me? For what? I'm not even important."
"You may not think of yourself as important in this place. But where I'm from what you have is life for all of us."
Kai was surprised Isla didn't scream when someone who might harm her suddenly intruded into the room.
"I wonder why you didn't scream? Couldn't I have hurt you?"
Hearing that Isla was still silent. She seemed to be trying to examine Kai's face, who was smiling at that time. The girl also glanced at the sword hanging from the man's waist. But for some reason, Isla lowered the knife that was still tightly gripped in her hand.
"Why? You're not afraid of me?" Kai asked getting more surprised.
"No. But I want to hear an explanation. What do you mean that you have to take me? Who are you?"
"I'll explain it to you. But before that, I want to know one thing. How did you know that I was the one who was spying on you a while ago? Do you have any special abilities?"
"Why do you want to know?"
"Because the explanation you wanted might be connected to what happened to you right now."
Isla stared fixedly at the brown-haired youth. As if looking for a lie that might lead her astray. Isla could detect the auras and presence of other people, so she could most likely tell if the person she was dealing with would do something bad to her or not.
Isla then put the knife she was holding in the drawer. Kai watched that intently, it seemed Isla had calmed down by now. This made Kai even more curious because if Isla was just an ordinary girl, there was no way she would react this calmly. At least he had to scream for help. Since earlier Rex had been hiding, he didn't want the girl to be even more surprised to see a cat able to talk and greet her in the middle of the night like this.
"I can indeed detect the aura and presence of other people even if you are hiding within ten meters of my place. I can also sense the positive and negative auras of other people, and it is because of this advantage that I become overly vigilant and people stay away from me."
"When exactly did it start happening?"
"Almost two years ago, when I started high school."
"Then what else can you feel? I still don't understand why you're not surprised to see me looking like this?"
"Because someone with an aura and appearance like yours once came up to me. But a long time ago, when I was little. And I thought you were the same person back then."
Kai couldn't hide his shocked expression. Even Rex, who was hiding under the table, almost jumped out and wanted to ask the girl directly.
"Someone like me ever came up to you?"
"Yes. He also wears a long robe and carries a samurai-like you. It's just that I've forgotten his face."
"What did he do to you?"
"Nothing. He just came, ruffled my hair, then just walked away."
"Kai..."
Rex whispered under the table. Kai understood that his Guide must also have the same thoughts as him. Likely, Isla is not an ordinary Earthling, but she is also one of the Amaltheans who was forced to live on this Earth because her body became a vessel for Emrys Shards. No wonder Isla could absorb the power from Emrys. However, what made Kai curious was who the man Isla had just told him about. There's no way it's Hugo Lorelei.
"Now it's my turn to be curious. Who are you? And what is your purpose in chasing me?"
"You can call me Kai. I am a mage from Amalthea. Right now my job is to find the last remaining shard of the Emrys inheritance. But when I found it, the shard lived inside you."
"My body? Sorry, but I don't understand."
"This may be hard to understand. But if you believe in some of the abilities that have emerged from you over the past few years, it is because you have a bit of the power of the Emrys Shard living within you. Right now my job is to take you to Amalthea so that the Emrys Shard can be extracted. Because. .. "
"Kai! Kai, look outside!"
Rex who was under the table suddenly appeared, interrupting Kai's words. Isla, who had no idea where the cat had come from, screamed loudly and immediately distanced herself.
"What is that? Cat?!"
"Please don't be afraid Miss."
"Y-you're a cat, right? B-but why can you talk?"
"Introduce my name, Rex. I am Kai's Guide."
Isla backed away from both shock and fear. Even more scared than seeing Kai's figure suddenly appear in her room. Because this was the first time she saw a cat with an eccentric appearance, even able to speak like a human. How could she stay sane when he witnessed something like this?
Kai immediately strained his ears and ran to the window. At that moment, a bolt of reddish-black lightning flashed across the dark sky. Nothing could be more shocking than this, in fact much worse. They found this place much faster than Kai expected.
"Isla, can you trust me this time?"
Isla didn't answer because she was still fixated on the figure of Rex who was sitting pretty not far from her. The furry creature was trying to explain its presence, but the girl only grew more frightened.
"Isla! Isla!"
"What?" Isla shouted when Kai just shook his shoulders to wake her up.
"We have to go!"
"What do you mean?"
"I'll explain everything to you later. But we have to go, now!"
"But..."
"No time miss, you better not break away from us."
Isla couldn't wait for a definite answer and could only look at Kai who nodded as if to tell her to trust him. Isla didn't know what happened after this, one night her life suddenly changed.
Isla gripped both Kai's and Rex's hands tightly. She didn't know if his choice was right, but she was also curious about how she should continue to live with the abilities she currently has. Meanwhile, the people she wanted to protect distanced themselves from her.
The girl closed her eyes as a dark mist began to envelop her body. In an instant, the three figures disappeared and were replaced by three tree trunks that fell into the room with a thud. The tree destroyed the bed and also some items in the room.
After a few seconds when they used teleportation magic, three figures in red robes appeared in Isla's room. One of them removed the hood to reveal the face of a person in a black mask.
He scanned the place for a moment, noticing three tree trunks that crossed the middle of the room.
"Someone just brought the last shard of Emrys. He might be the last son of Gamma. We'd better go too, I know where they're going."
The figure had returned to its hood. In the blink of an eye, they disappeared back using teleportation magic. Leaving state of Isla's room was still destroyed, but without Isla in it.

Kai, Isla, and Rex appeared in a dark and dense forest after the three of them swapped their bodies with three large tree trunks from the forest. Isla fell to the ground face-first.
She grumbled because the two strange creatures that carried him didn't explain anything about teleportation magic to him. And now, the keropi pajamas he was wearing were not only dirty but also torn in several places because they had just been snagged by plant thorns. She also just realized, that she had not brought anything since leaving Nita's house.
"Where is this? Why did you guys bring me to a place like this?" She cried, looking around at the dark forest with very tall trees.
Isla's eyes immediately fixed on a tall and large tree right before her eyes. Even the diameter of the tree is bigger than a well. The leaves grow thick with branches as big as poles. The location of the tree is also away from other trees. The reason was that the roots of the tree appeared from the ground and formed a perfect circle like a fence.
The tree looks spooky and sacred. At the bottom of the tree is a dark hole. Similar to a rabbit hole but with a size large enough to be passed by humans. Rex took Isla's hand while the girl was still frozen in place.
"What's the name of this place?" She asked.
"We call it the fifth Gate of Magic. One of the entrances to Amalthea."
"So you're saying Amalthea has more than one entrance?"
Rex nodded. "There are seven in total. We chose this path because Hugo's men wouldn't have dared to follow."
"Why?"
"You'll see it when you enter."
Isla looked toward the entrance that looked like a dark hole. She saw Kai who had just done something around the tree roots that formed a circular fence.
"What did she do?" asked Isla.
"Creating a barrier," Kai said as he drew his sword. "I'm not taking any chances. Hugo's men can't cross the lake, but they can still find this gate. Come on!"
Kai led into the dark rabbit hole. Rex reassured Isla that everything would be fine. The girl complied. She entered holding Rex's fat, fingernailed fingers.
The hole is a bit low for human size. But the inside is getting higher and higher. The hole protrudes slightly downwards and looks like a tunnel. But over time the passage widened and brought the three figures to a dark lake that was not too wide.
Isla gulped as she watched the extremely calm surface of the lake water. It looks like a mirror with a very dark base. The hairs on her neck immediately got goosebumps, especially when she saw human skulls and bones scattered on the edge of the lake.
"W-what is this place?"
