I went to the clinic two weeks after located downtown at the fourth avenue. I hate entering clinics but I had to do it in order to be sure that I was preggers or I wasn't. I walked straight to the clerk and told her to arrange an appointment with a qualified doctor. It looked as if she understood me and she then picked up her telephone and was talking to a doctor.
"Okay miss. Dr Steve would meet you in room 102", the clerk mentioned
"Thank you", I quickly smiled then walked quickly to room 102
I pushed open the door and when I set my eyes on Dr Steve, I was shocked. He was unexpectedly handsome with short brown hair and like my pale blue eyes but with a silvery tinge in a pleasantly heavy face. He was six one or exact six feet, early twenties powerfully and solidly built. His All American physical attractiveness made the whole situation worse. You could probably have balanced a level on his broad shoulders. He had a good posture. He was easy to look at. Not dark and having jet black hair like Daniel. His hair was moderate brown and his was a paler, more solid and massive, cool white man sorta handsome. His eyes were a striking light almost silver blue
My mouth almost dropped wide open. Maybe I drank too much of my torquilia and I might be seeing things. He was so good.
"Hello",Dr Steve brought out a dimpled smile. "What can I do for you?"
For a long moment, I kept looking at him, bewildered. I was trying to arrange how to tell him. He may think I'm a whore with my outfit and my body. Oh Gosh!
"Ummm....I wanted to run a test on my body to see if I'm actually...", I trailed
"Pregnant", Dr Steve finished it and i nodded. He was surprised
"It's a long story", I said softly
"Why don't you share it with me. I'm all ears", He said with a kind tone
I smiled at him and explained everything that happened. Every single thing. And when I finished, I looked up at Dr Steve and saw the pity in his eyes. Then I burst out crying silently without making any sound but tears were rushing down my face
"No, don't cry. I understand you totally. Everyone makes mistakes. You making mistakes isn't the end of the world", Dr Steve said concernly. My face grew warm when he used his napkin to wipe away the tears from my tear stained cheeks. "Thank you", I looked up at him as he tucked my hair to the side of my ear and looked down at me.
"Can we start the test now?", he questioned
The test went out smoothly but when it was done, Dr Steve showed me the paper. I really was pregnant. Curse the bastard Daniel and his fucking charms. I didn't want this. What was going on? What have I put myself in to?
"So what are you gonna do?", Dr Steve questioned me. He had pity in his face.
"I don't know. I don't want my mum to know about this but I don't want to abort it",I said thoughtfully
"We could talk about this alone", Dr Steve said softly "Dinner by 7pm. I'll pick you up. I'll be free on Friday"
"Okay", I nodded
"You can have all the time you want to talk to me by then. It's a dinner night party", Dr Steve informed
"Thank you", I said
"One question. Have you hurled…..well...maybe...lately", Dr Steve studdered "you know what I mean"
I nodded my head,"rarely"
"Then you must be a really strong lady anyways", Dr Steve teased as I laughed
"Thank you Dr Steve", I smiled
"You're welcome and you can call me Steve. I am Steve Keats", Dr Steve introduced
"Oh! I'm Charlotte Brown", I introduced
"What a beautiful name for a vibrant lady", Dr Steve commented
"Thank you", I smiled. "Why don't they call you Dr Keats like the way they call other doctors?"
Dr Steve smiled,"I'm a young doctor. You wouldn't believe my age"
"How old are you", I questioned
"I'm twenty two", Dr Steve smiled
"Really? And I'm sixteen", I said as we both laughed
"Six years difference", Dr Steve reasoned
"Quick calculations", I grinned
He was a character. He made me laugh and forgot about my problems by that time. He was really comical, funny and amusing.
"So about the dinner party", Dr Steve looked at me in the eyes
"I'll be there", my big blue eyes sparkled
"Hmm. You have lovely eyes", Dr Steve commented
"Is that a complement?", I questioned
"Yes", he said "your eyes are really huge and blue and innocent".
I rolled my eyes
"So I'll see you by 7pm on Friday". Dr Steve reminded
"Here's my address", I gave Dr Steve a piece of paper.
