*Lily POV*
The kettle clanged to the stone floor and spilled hot water everywhere. The woman who called herself the Seer sighed. With a wave of her hand, the water vanished and the kettle floated back to its original spot.
“Please try to be a bit more careful with my things,” she grumbled and walked over to her desk. She began to sort through the pages I had been reading and piled them neatly.
My mind was still reeling.
“I’m sorry … but did you just say you were a Seer and the author of ‘The Alpha of Oakheart’?”
“Your ears are working, are they not?”
“But … but … how? I mean, the seer part makes sense because there is magic in Erik’s world … but the author? How did you even manage to get the book published in my world?”
The Seer looked at me with annoyance.
“You just spent months in a world with magic and werewolves in someone else’s body after being transported there from another world … and you’re questioning how a book managed to get published in your world.”
