If ever I had imagined what being sucked into a black hole would feel like, being pulled into a dark abyss after having my soul ripped from my body would have to be an accurate description of that sensation.
After what seemed an eternity and a mere second all at the same same time, I had the wind knocked out of me when I landed on my back. I coughed and wheezed, almost puking from the cosmic trip I had just endured.
I had not expected it to feel like that at all. I had thought that I would simply fall asleep and appear in my body just as it had happened before.
Panic struck me then. Vanessa! Falcon had sent me back but he had made sure that Vanessa would return. This was not how I thought my departure would turn out, Erik was in more danger now than ever.
