Upon hearing that, Jacob said nothing else and got up, preparing to follow Nash.
"Wait!" Just as Jacob was about to leave, Trayvon suddenly shouted, "Sir, may I know what's your name?"
Despite conversing for so long, Trayvon still did not know Jacob's name.
"It's Jacob," Jacob calmly said his name.
The atmosphere turned awkward just as he muttered his name.
Trayvon's expression changed once more. Even the way Nash was looking at Jacob changed drastically.
After some time, Trayvon asked, "Do you know someone named Dwayne?"
Jacob nodded. "I do. I was the one who killed him."
Upon hearing Jacob admit what he did, Trayvon took a deep breath and tried to calm himself down.
