"It's funny how you're still so worried about your son, Duncan! He has long abandoned you and ran off. I think he's probably long gone by now!" someone shouted among the spectating crowd.
Only then did Duncan realize that Sebastian had already fled. Jacob just found out as well.
All this time, Jacob had been focusing on Duncan, and he did not pay much attention to Sebastian. He never thought that the latter would scurry off.
When Duncan noticed that his son had run away, instead of getting angry, he laughed out loud. "Well, at least the Nixon family will still have survivors."
"It doesn't matter where your son ran off to, be it to the ends of the earth, for I will still take his life," Jacob said in a cold tone, staring straight at Duncan.
"You won't be able to kill my son because everyone here is going to die!" Duncan roared maliciously.
