Soon after, Derek kept chanting. After a loud bang, clouds of black smoke rose into the air. The smoke covered a radius of hundreds of meters across the sky and instantly turned day into night.
Despite that, Jacob remained calm as ever and swung his Dragon Slayer sword in the air. The sky turned bright again as silver rays appeared.
Derek wasn't fazed by what Jacob did. Instead, he started chanting even faster. He then drew a circle in the void with his right hand, and ripples were formed in the circle. It was as if the concept of time and space was defied.
