"Help! Help!" screamed some of the Sadlers who could not take it anymore.
"If you don't want to die, then stand behind me," came Jacob's voice at that moment.
The next second, the dark mist in the room disappeared.
Only then did the people realize that Jacob had sucked in all the black mist into his stomach.
Dumbstruck, they stared at Jacob as though they were looking at a monster.
"Are you people not going to come over? Do you all have a death wish?" Jacob said coldly to the Sadlers, who were all rooted to their spots. Upon hearing Jacob's reminder, the Sadlers snapped back to their senses and quickly rushed to hide behind Jacob.
"M-Mr. Sullen, who is this?" Farell stuttered.
"Ha. It's just a spirit that can't maintain its physical shape. It's nothing impressive," Jacob scoffed.
Yet his words infuriated Ellis.
