"Those are bad guys, Mr. Deraegan. Had I not killed them, they would have… done those things to me," Margaret Redford whined.
"Nonsense! Do you think Jacob will bully you as well?" Randall stared daggers at her.
"I… I heard from you that he's got superb prowess in battle, so I wanted to test him out. Turns out it's nothing great."
Margaret cast a contemptuous look at Jacob and criticized him, "Also, his personality sucks. He looked on while I was in trouble and had no intention of helping me."
Jacob listened attentively to their conversations and was rather confused.
So, they know each other, and Randall talks a lot about me too. Anyhow, they don't seem to have any ill intentions toward me. At the very least, I know they won't harm me.
Randall turned to Jacob, simply refusing to believe that the latter was not bothered by Margaret's safety.
