Seeing that Jacob had made up his mind, Valeria refrained from dissuading him further, knowing he never wavered once he had decided on something.
"We'll go with you, Mr. Sullen. If anything happens, we can back you up," Colburn offered immediately. Their loyalty was with Jacob; if he were to perish, the Three Bandits would have no hope of survival. They would all die together if it came to that. It was far better for them to accompany him so they could help if he were in danger.
Jacob glanced at Colburn, understanding their motivation, and nodded with a smile. "Sure. The three of you can tag along with me."
He exchanged a few more words with Valeria before parting ways. Bringing Rohan along, Valeria and Gustav headed out of Bloodthirsty Lightning Falcon's territory, following the direction given by Jacob.
