"Don't misunderstand. I was just—" Jacob began, but before he could finish his sentence, Pantherion swung his sword at him.
Jacob had no choice but to throw the book at Pantherion and attempt to escape. "Think you can run? If I let you go, then I, as the general of the royal guards, would be unworthy of my title!" Pantherion roared angrily, charging at Jacob with his sword again.
Pantherion harbored a deep-seated prejudice against humans. He didn't like their cunning ways. Unfortunately, Luna had a soft spot for humans. She always hoped she could marry one and have a human husband. However, because the beast and human races couldn't intermarry, Luna had to restrain herself.
