The territory of the Demon Wolves lay deeper within the mountainous region, where Amir and his group were engaged in a fierce battle against the beasts.
Although many of the Demon Wolves had fallen, countless others were poised to attack.
Amir's group was not without injuries themselves. As they fought valiantly, they were slowly being pushed back. However, it was only a matter of time before the overwhelming numbers of Demon Wolves would overpower and annihilate them.
Yet, the leader of the Demon Wolves seemed in no hurry to eliminate Amir's group. Instead, the Demon Wolves merely surrounded them, driving them further into the mountains.
If the Demon Wolves truly wanted Amir's group dead, they could have lunged at them all at once. But the leader chose to send only two of its pack to attack.
