Jacob returned to Gate of Thunder's secret realm with Annabeth. Jacob was overjoyed when learning the function of the Thousands of Miles Away painting.
He no longer had to worry about finding the entrances to other secret realms, nor did he have to follow the transport rules of the Eight Major Secret Realms.
Otherwise, Jacob and the others would have to wait three days after being transported from Gate of Fire's secret realm to Gate of Thunder's before they could get transported again. Three days wasn't long, but it wasn't short either.
No one knew what could happen during that period.
"Let's go. We need to find out where Altostratus Palace is as soon as possible." Jacob put away the Thousands of Miles Away painting and began to search for Altostratus Palace's location with the girls.
