Azriel and Sierra nodded in unison. Given the way things were, they had no choice but to listen to Jacob. Jacob and the others found a cave that was just large enough to fit them, so they spent the night inside the cave. Jacob told Malcolm to focus on his cultivation so he could heal faster, but Malcolm was unable to get into a cultivation state.
"It's all my fault… The disciples were wounded – and killed because of me… As a sect leader, I can't possibly bring myself to face our ancestors anymore!"
Malcolm cried out with a sad look on his face.
All of the Radiant Sect disciples were killed, and many of them had chosen to self-destruct in order to save Malcolm. Naturally, Malcolm did not feel good about that at all.
Azriel had reminded him before that the other sects might attack the Radiant Sect, but Malcolm had been overly optimistic and believed that the other sects were too honorable to do such a thing.
