Jacob was still concerned because there were so many demon beasts eyeing him.
"I'm sure. Now, bring me to the spot marked on the treasure map!" Rudeus urged. However, Jacob was still too afraid to stand up. "You better not lie to me. If I'm eaten by these demon beasts, no one will take you there."
"Relax! I won't lie to you. Once you get up, I bet these demon beasts will shudder in fear." Jacob slowly rose to his feet. When the demon beasts saw that, they hastily took two steps backward, causing a commotion.
"See? Those creatures are terrified of you!" Rudeus said. When Jacob saw the fearful look in the demon beast's eyes, his worries were laid to rest. He glanced at the giant lion not too far away from him and waved at it. "Come here."
