"Who do you think you are to ask Jacob to deactivate the arcane array? Weren't you so full of yourself earlier? Do it yourself then!" Geoffrey snapped.
He could not believe that Jonah was shameless enough to seek Jacob's help even though they were no longer on the same side. Jonah's face turned ashen from fury, but he did not have the courage to utter a word in retaliation.
He figured that Jacob might be the only one among them who could help them escape from the area because Jacob was the only one who knew the intricacies of arcane arrays.
