In the Lotus Feather Pavilion, Braydon Neal and Elder Juntenen sat in a small room.
"Braydon, you should be able to guess why we called you here, right?" Elder Juntenen asked.
Braydon looked at the solemn expression on Elder Juntenen's face and nodded slowly. He had sensed something was off ever since Elder Juntenen tried persuading Benaiah Strunk to stay.
After all, Elder Juntenen and Benaiah didn't get along. Why would they summon him to the Lotus Feather Pavilion without a reason?
"Elder Juntenen, is there a secret?" Braydon asked.
Elder Juntenen felt a pang of frustration as he looked at Braydon. This kid just couldn't feign ignorance—he had to be sharp all the time. It left Elder Juntenen with no sense of accomplishment.
He waved his hand, and a protective barrier immediately enveloped the room.
