Jiang Chen returned home and once again resumed a life reduced to four points: the hospital, the clinic, the company, Gong Lin's house!
That evening, Jiang Chen and Gong Lin left work a little late, so they didn't go home for dinner. Instead, they found a restaurant and enjoyed a little world of their own.
"Gong Lin, you start eating, I'll go to the restroom!" Jiang Chen softly said after they were almost done eating.
Gong Lin nodded with a smile, "Okay!"
Jiang Chen stood up, settled the bill at the cashier, and then proceeded to the restroom.
Gong Lin felt a warm current surge in her heart as she saw Jiang Chen paying. She thought, 'Finally, this guy is starting to treat me like a woman!'
"Gong Lin!" A voice called out. Gong Lin was startled and looked up. At the restaurant entrance, a young man decked out in branded clothes and leather shoes walked in with several bodyguards and started heading her way.
