But Ronald's shouting completely destroyed the touching atmosphere, turning a moving scene into a farce, making Ronald's suave image reminiscent of a clown.
What's more clownish is that despite Ronald shouting himself hoarse, Aileen's figure never appeared.
The Thief Saint's speed was astonishing. Especially since Ronald wasn't holding her back, she disappeared without a trace in the blink of an eye, no matter how loudly Ronald called out to her.
For a moment, Ronald looked like a defeated rooster, utterly dejected and rather pathetic.
