Luo Feng had just set foot on American soil, stepping off his flight at Atlanta International Airport, when his phone rang. It was Mr. Wu.
"Luo Feng, I implore you to tread carefully in the United States. My influence doesn't stretch across the Pacific, and while your mission is not inherently dangerous, you are far from home. Your safety is of utmost importance," Mr. Wu warned.
Luo Feng felt a wave of exasperation at the cautious reminder.
"Mr. Wu, I'm merely here for an auction. What sort of danger could possibly await me?" he queried.
"Besides, do you not trust my skills should danger arise?"
However, the more Luo Feng expressed confidence, the more Mr. Wu fretted. "The situation over there is distinct from ours. They have a culture of gun ownership, and it's not regulated!"
