Chapter 80 - Chapter - 79 [ Sun And Moon! ]

Eirwan proposed that as an apology, his sister will give Adam some of her scales. It made her turn red once more as she glared at her little brother.

Adam could understood why though. It seems, their scales was like clothes used by humans. If a boy asked for a girl's clothes like, that, he will be called pervert.

But not reminding this himself, Adam showed great interest in dragon scales. He could have used his own. But he was afraid something dangerous will come out of it if he used it as a material.

After enduring her shame, the older sister, Elcrede, gave Adam four of her scales. In return, he gave her, a few of the famous food he stored in his space storage. She seems to have liked the food, as she forgot about her previous embarrassed self.

After bidding farewell, they left their way. Adam returned to the forest to do his tasks. Since he already got the material he wanted, he only did the guild request and returned to the capital. After reporting to the guild, he returned to the academy.

Inside the principal's office, Resta was facepalming herself. Why is that..? The cause was Adam. Not his presence, but the material he chose to create the weapon.

"I am not badmouthing you Adam... But are you an idiot..?"

Not understanding why she asked so, he tilted his head in confusion. She sighed as said, "In fact, it's very good to use dragon scales, but unfortunately, no one, even the most prominent blacksmith doesn't know how to melt it. It's impossible to melt the dragon scale, Adam."

She seems to have a headache. "I know that, Resta. But, I do have an idea to successfully complete this task."

She raied her brows to his response. Thus sighing once again, she said, "Well, do as you like. I will wait and see."

Smiling, he startled her by hugging her with a little strength. He then left the blushing Resta in her office.

"That idiot..!"

Her low voiced scream was heard, but only inside the office.

Although he could create one, whenever he wanted to, he didn't have a place do so. Though the capital does have some blacksmithing companies, they wouldn't allow a newbie and young person, to use their equipments.

Thus, he asked for a leave and decided to go to his home. Although the girls too wanted to go, they were defeated when he mentioned that, they have to ask Resta. After telling his friends, he left to Aldians territory.

Inside the Aldians mansion, Arthur was talking with his wife, when a servant knocked on the door. Giving his permission, the servant explained the news.

"Adam is returning..? What happened..?"

"It seems, Lord Adam wanted to use the smithy. Here Master. We received a letter."

Handing the letter to Arthur, the servant left after bowing. After he read the letter, Arthur smiled.

"He is always busy, isn't he..?"

He muttered.

Upon arriving at blacksmithing company he used before, Adam searched for Derthes, the dwarf. There he found him scolding some children, who are most likely new apprentice blacksmiths.

Sensing someone eyeing him, Derthes turned towards the entrance and saw a familiar boy, now all grown. Walking towards him with a smile, Derthes asked in a friendly tone, "It's been a while, young Adam..! You have grown and became more handsome now..! Hahahaha...!"

Smiling in response to the old dwarf's words, Adam chuckled lightly and said his greetings. Then he explained the reason for his visit. Nodding in understanding, he arranged the same room, Adam used before.

As he entered the room, he took out one scale and began to think. He can probably melt this scale or change it's shape with his skills. Thus, he decided to change it's shape rather than melt it.

There were some problems if it is not melted accurately. It may lose its durability and hardness. So, he will be changing its shape.

As scales were matter as well, he used his compound fuse and Omni-manipulation skills to shape the scale.

"Since, last year they chose sword, I will make a spear this time around...!"

He wanted it to be good enough. So he decided to use some of his knowledge back from earth to design the spear.

After some hours, he sighed and nodded in satisfaction as he eyed the sacred looking spear. It looked like a divine weapon filled with holy power.

It exculded a golden aura. It was long, at least a metre and half. On its head, a majestic looking golden blade, accompanied by four golden spikes faced in four direction. It had a ring floating on its neck. He named it 'The Oracle, the majesty of Sun'.

But that wasn't all. He turned towards his left and looked at another lance with somewhat same design but, colored black and blue. Only its blade was different. It had blue color, with a curved feather like design on its neck. He named it, 'Supernova, the Gift of Moon'.

He made Supernova, for himself. And there was a massive difference in abilities with the two. Since he created 'The Oracle' for the winner of the tournament, he made it so that, it will be majestic, but not dangerous. Thus, the two's status looked like this,

«

THE ORACLE (RANK : PLANET) : Magic Spear created by a talented blacksmith. Named after creating. Light elemental Spear. Superior to any low level Light Spirit. Can only be used by the person the creator decides.

Creator : Adam Aves Aldians

Owner : None

SUPERNOVA (RANK : UNKNOWN) : Magic Spear created by a talented blacksmith. Named after creating. Darkness-Ice elemental Spear. Superior to any supreme spirits of Darkness and Ice. Can only be used by the person the creator decides.

Creator : Adam Aves Aldians

Owner : Adam Aves Aldians

»

Supernova was just like Tizona, very strong. However, the oracle was only stronger than some of the weapons from the dungeon. It was at least stronger than the S-ranked sword Ruby and Raiser got from the tomb. He then checked his status.

"Hmmm... I've raised my understanding of ice and darkness. That's good."

He sighed in relief as he succeeded in completing his task. Exiting the room, he was intogorrated by Derthes. As he presented the oracle In front of everyone present, their eyes widened sensing it's power and majesty. Even Derthes admitted defeat.

He returned to his parents for a while and talked to them. He decided to stay there for some time.

A week passed by. Adam bid farewell to his parents and returned to the academy. As soon as he got there, he went to talk to Resta.

Inside her room, Resta was looking absolutely terrified as her eyes stared at the floating shiny golden spear in front of her.

"Did you really made this by yourself..? And using dragon scales..?"

Adam nodded. Her face twitched in response. After sighing, she said, "I guess I have to apologize. I didn't trusted you even though I kind of understood that you won't lie. I am sorry..."

But he quickly shook his head and asked, "Is this fine as a reward..? If not, I'll make another one...!" He seemed to be enthusiastic about making new weapons. But Resta denied his request and said, "This is fine. It's actually more terrifying to give such a thing away. I am sure, everyone will be interested in it. People all over the world will be attracted towards such a thing..!"

Saying so, she told him to take it away. He took it back and stored it in his space storage. Seeing the spear disappear, she had a jealous face as she muttered, "How envious.. To think you have such an absurd ability..! If people knew about such an ability, they will go to war, just to learn it....!"

He wasn't shocked by her warning. He too did knew such an ability is very dangerous in the hands of evil individuals. That is why he hasn't tried to make a magic item with such a magic.

"The time is near. Within four more days, the tournament will start. I guess you've already notified the students. I am sure there would be some, who will try to participate and win. But, knowing it's a program arranged for anyone to participate, people from all over the world is sure to attend."

"So, the path to the victory is very long. Well, I am a little interested in if there's someone strong under the age of 20."

Resta asked curiously, "Are you planning to take another student..?"

"No. I am not looking for students. In fact, I already have more than enough students now. I am only little interested to know about the other countries. I wanted to know of there's a talented young man/young lady in other places."

She nodded her head and said, "Right. It happened a few years ago. A young man with black hair and black eyes came and won the tournament easily. He was stronger than every other participants. He was only 22 that time i think. We gifted him with a crown, which is a magic item. It was very strong but wierd item. We don't know how to activate it or what it is. The young man that time however activated it the first time he got it in his hands...! It had a variety of powers. We heard it had six powerful abilities. We only saw one. As soon as he used it, he just disappeared from our vision. We never saw him again."

This story caught his attention a lot. This item seems to be very dangerous indeed. And if he's right, then the ability he used to disappear is probably something close to teleportation. If so, the strange terrorist group had a 50% relation to this young man. He sensed the use of space elements when that unknown person escaped. Thus he thought, it was another otherworlder. But, that guess seems to be wrong.

Seeing Adam thinking and not talking with a serious expression, Resta smiled and said, "Anyway, we think he's dead. Because he never came back to the tournaments of later years. Anyway, for now, let's talk about the festival. It seems, Rastus, wants to talk to you about something."

He snapped out of his reverie as he heard her words. "Hmm.. Okay. Now that i think about it, are the two of you related someway..?"

She blinked for a second before nodding. "I guess you didn't notice. I am half Royal blood."

"I see... So you are the daughter of a Royal and a spirit huh... So, if we think about it, wouldn't you be something like a great grandmother to him~~?"

Her brows twitched in response to his teasing as she pounced on him and asked with a sultry voice, "If so, then aren't you the strange one to love this old woman~~~?"

Chuckling lightly, he pinched her cheeks and said, "May be, I am a strange person..." To this, her already blushing cheeks reddened to its limits as she bonked his chest cutely in protest.

"Cute~~"

"You...!"

The two's loud voice echoed through the academy. However only a few people near them heard some strange voices coming from the principal's office. However as it wasn't their concern, they left without doing anything.
