The news of a new Apprenticeship spread like a wildfire throughout the academy. Now, in the principal's office, early in the morning, Resta began her interrogation.
"So, what is this new rumors going on about..?"
Kneeling on the ground, Adam explained everything.
"Sigh.. To think you guys are planning something like this.. And that shit of a boy! How dare he ask you to do this without my permission..!?"
Obviously, the boy she was talking about was Rastus.
Feeling a little pressured, Adam asked her for the permission to train her in the morning.
"No! Did you think, you could use your relationship with me to ignore your classes..!?"
Shaking his head, Adam explained, "No, that's not it. Even if we had a more strong relationship, I wouldn't choose to waste any classes. I told you, it is to train her. I am not asking for a full day. Then, how about this..? I will train her for a week. In this week, if she improve, I want you to accept my request to train her for a year. If she doesn't improve, I am willing to accept any punishment. Of course we won't neglect our theories as well."
"Although your proposal isn't bad, there is nothing in for me."
Sighing lightly, Adam said, "If she's successful, the academy will get a new genius. And since you think, I can't give you anything, I will promise you do any one thing, as long as it does not go against my morals and endangers my important people."
Snorting she said, "Who do you think I am..? I am not that heartless!...Hah..! Fine! I will give you one week. That's all."
As she was about to leave him, Adam surprised her by sneaking a kiss on her cheek and disappearing from the room. Still feeling the heat on her cheek, Resta held back her urge to scream his name as she fisted the desk into two.
"Damn you Adam..!" Although she said this, a smile appeared on her face unnoticed.

Feeling very energetic after teasing Resta a little, Adam walked to the training ground only to see that it was crowded with people.
As soon as he entered, every eyes were following him. Although, he had some thoughts about why they were here, ignored them as he reached the centre of the ground. Rubelia was standing there, wearing a training suit and a sword in her hand.
He nodded to her and loudly warned, "Everyone else is advised to return to your classroom. No one is welcomed here for the time being."
The others felt annoyed when he said this. One of them asked arrogantly, "Why do we need to listen to you, a brat..!? Everyone is allowed inside the training grounds! We don't need your permission to come here!"
The others also felt the same. But the one to answer them wasn't Adam. But a female voice.
"That is right. However, you do not have the permission to use or enter the training grounds in the morning. So, why don't all of you return..?"
The one to say this was Jace. With her, the other teachers were also nodded their heads.
"Then he too should go back..!" One of the boys under the lead of the blonde haired boy screamed as he pointed at Adam.
"That was how it supposed to go. But unfortunately, we do not have the authority to force him. He have the permission from the principal."
This words from her mouth made the students and even Rubelia to stare at Adam in disbelief. How did he do it..? He's just a newbie. But he was able to persuade the principal..?
"Also, if any of you have any problems about this decision, then you are free to ask for principal's permission. But, remember, only a genuine reason can persuade her. Now! All return to your classes! As for you two, you are given one week to show the fruits of your labour. If it is not satisfactory, you will be forced to forget about your aim."
Although she didn't want to say anything harsh to Adam, she being a teacher, has to obey the principal's decisions.
Adam and Rubelia nodded their head. While the other students left with disappointment in their faces.

After all of them left, Only Adam and Rubelia remained. Looking at her face, he could see that she was slightly nervous about everything. So, to tease her, he asked,
"What..? Regretting already..?"
Glaring at him with an angry look she said, "I do not regret my decision one bit.. It's just, I was wondering if I can learn enough to prove them you're not wrong with only a week..."
Chuckling lightly, which gave him a stern look from her, Adam said, "My worth is what my important people thinks of me. I don't need others to think about me that much. As for your doubts, as long as you obey every lessons, I don't think you need a week to become a successful swordsman."
Though a light blush appeared on her cheeks when he said 'obey every lessons', she quickly nodded her head after ignoring the earlier remark.
"Now, let's start! First of all, you shouldn't be using a real sword yet. Use this wooden sword for the training."
He threw a wooden sword from his space storage and picked her sword with telekinesis. "Now, for the first part, what you need is arm strength. If you do not have enough arm strength, the sword will tire your hands. This, to train your arms, swing the sword a hundred times in a slow and perfect manner like this."
He made a perfect swing and looked at Rubelia. She asked, "Teacher, I understand it's for arm strength. However, may I ask how you trained..?"
Nodding his head, Adam said, "I've started training with a swing of thousand."
As she was about to say something, he denied her by saying, "You can't do it Rubelia. As you have yet to use a sword, your arm will get tired. Thus it is better to start from a small target. I am not underestimating you. How about this.? You can swing 100 times first. If you don't feel like you are tired, then you are free to continue. If not, try with only hundred. For now. You don't have to worry about time. Just do what I say, and you will understand later."
She decided to follow his teachings already. Why stop now because of a doubt...? Thus she started.
At this time, Adam was planning something else. He wanted to train her within this one week and help her reach at least Knight level. For this he need time. Therefore, he decided to experiment a little.
He wanted to try creating a time elemental spell.

Maya's warning was heard in his head. Saying yes to her, he began to think about comprehending time.

As he began to think, everything around him began move slowly. It wasn't in the stage at which everything began to stagnate. But it was still slower than a human could see or sense.

The scenes around him stopped for a second and began to move backwards. As he closed his eyes, he couldn't see anything. But he could sense and hear some voices he have heard before or conversations he have heard before. But, he couldn't say when is this happening.

His visage in medication, sat there for a few hours ignoring Rubelia's gazes, with perfect concentration. After three hours.....
He heard a notification from the system.

Opening his eyes, Adam smiled before uttering 'status' in his mind.

He was truly surprised. Although he was trying to find a way to increase the time they can use, he never expected, trying to comprehend time little more, would allow him to control it to such a degree.
To test this out, he activated his blood domain skill and also activated the skill freeze. He could sense a monstrous amount of magic being sucked out, but he still didn't felt tired or any discomfort. He looked around to see, everything around him came to a halt. Rubelia was stuck like a statue halfway swinging her sword.
Since he had an absolute amount of magic, he didn't had to worry about the use of such a skill. So he stood and walked towards her in a slow motion. He didn't want to affect anything while being in such a situation. To prove his doubts, the moment he deactivated the skill, the wind pressure and vibration of his movement caused everything around him to tremble. Rubelia who was not expecting such a thing suddenly lost her balance and was about to fall, but he caught her by the waist.
"What was that..!? An enemy attack..!?" She asked with a panicked expression. But Adam gave her a chop to the head and said,
"It was me. Sorry, I was trying something."
Calming the pain on her head, Rubelia looked at him with disbelief as she asked, "What do you mean..?"
He explained. "As the academy has given us a week to train, I can at the most, make you a intermediate Trainee if I train you hard. But my aim is to make you a Knight level swordsman. Thus, I wanted to increase the time we can use. As you won't understand even if I explained, I won't tell you how, but, I have an idea."
She wanted to scream how can he say that as if such a thing is easy as that. But she waited for him to say. "I created a technique to increase the time we get. I know you didn't get it. That's why, just train each day until I say, and you won't even think how we got the time. For this week, you won't be returning to the castle. We will stay in the academy. I'll talk to Rastus, so you don't have to worry about it. But, regardless of my efforts, if you didn't put in the effort, and hard work, forget about becoming a swordsman."
Like he said, she didn't understand a thing. However, she too wanted to do this. Thus, she nodded in determination and continued her swinging without stopping. Seeing this, Adam nodded.
But before he could use the time spell, he had to think about her health. If he used it now, her aging will not stop. So he wanted to modify the spell a little.
So he returned to his seating position while, Rubelia continued her training.
After he was successful in creating the new spell, Adam trained her hard without holding back. And a week passed by so easily.
