"Stupid Feylit! Letting me handle the secondary stuff, while he goes on a date with his boyfriend! Kiss already and die!... Then again, this explains why he doesn't feel anything toward a woman as great as me! Of course, he likes men! It's the only logical explanation!" The Veiled Mistress followed her foxes to find where Kon sent the pink slime.
Bursting through trees, the giant green boar from before carried the pink slime.
"Found you! Stop! you oversized bacon!... You two chase!" She commanded before turning to her foxes and giving them an order. "I'll catch wherever you go!"
-Meanwhile-
"Earth Spikes: Bend!" Kon declared.
Various earth spikes came out of the ground moving and bending as if they were made of rubber. In the middle of them, there was a young man with purple hair who was coated by lighting, moving between them and avoiding being hit at the last minute, going as far as to use the earth spikes as a platform to dodge the other ones.
"How resourceful... Unfortunately, this is only the start. Earth Spike: Overlap!" With a single command from Kon, spikes started coming out of the pre-existing spikes.
Like some sort of back joke, the lightning around Feylit increased and intensified as he began moving faster and dodging the spikes on top of the spikes by small minor margins or moving so fast he can step on them before the spike even pops out.
"Lightning Mode: V2-Lightning Lighter active!" Feylit chanted.
A lightning streak followed as Feylit moved through and got closer to Kon.
Kon took a stance and closed his hands as if he was praying before chanting. "Earth Wall: Rise!"
In front of Feylit's path, a 25-meter tall that was twice as wide came to be, while the earth spikes followed right behind him.
*Bam!* *Shock!* *Null*
The lightning-coated young man punched the wall intending to pierce through, however, his punch was ineffective as the wall resisted, and his lightning was dispersed.
Not having time to waste as the earth spikes from behind approached and now the wall had begun producing its own earth spikes to attack him. He stepped on the just-forming earth spike and jumped over the wall by using his lightning to strengthen his legs.
"How foolish! Now in the air, the spikes from my earth wall will have you!" Kon announced.
Just as he said, earth spikes came right from the top of the earth wall towards Feylit.
"Just as expected!" Feylit exclaimed.
Before it pierced him, He used the earth spike closest to him as a platform and charged directly at Kon.
In a quick motion, he easily got closer and went for a punch to the head with his lightning-covered arm.
*Pierce!* *Splatter!* *Crack*
A turnover happened in an instant as in a calculated move, a dome-like structure closed on Feylit's wrist encasing the rest of him inside it.
"Jackpot! Earth Prison Dome: Seal!" Kon smiled as he chanted and immediately cut his finger on his teeth and grabbed Felit's exposed hand, which was not covered in lightning.
*Rumble* *Boom!*
Directly from the rainy skies, thunderbolts fell upon the two causing an explosion to take place as the area was left with a crater and a very free, Feylit looking at Kon who had to create distance before the lightning stroke.
"Lightning Mode: V4-Blue Basher active!" Feylit chanted as now, his hair went from purple to blue, and the lightning around him accelerated.
"Earth Mode: Hard Crust Defender!" Kon chanted as now his body was covered in a sort of rock armor with earth spikes all over it.
Moving twice as fast as he was in V2, which only gave him a control boost. Feylit kicked in his stomach with only part of his foot to avoid the spikes.
This move pushed Kon meters behind making him pounce onto the ground and bounce off it until he hit 5 trees and stopped.
Not stopping there, Feylit charged at Kon and the path in front of him had various earth spikes rising from the ground and forcing him to dodge as he advanced toward Kon.
"Seal: Slow 2x! Earth: Harden!" Kon chanted right before Feylit reached him.
"You lying bastard! I just realized! You're using those eyes to see through my moves! I thought you said you couldn't do that!" Feylit yelled as he once again felt himself slow down to an uncomfortable point, then he actually reached overlapping his lightning-covered fist with the rain water.
"You speak like you weren't using our battle right now as a distraction for the thunder strike you're building up there in the clouds. Also, I never lied, I actually didn't have this ability back there." Kon responded calmly not bothered by any of it, as he commanded more earth spikes to stab at Feylit.
What Kon didn't want to admit at this time was, that even if he knew what Feylit was doing, there was nothing he could do about it, since the rain dance Feylit had set up stan the entire Silverheart territory and gave him no real chance to escape now that he was face to with Feylit.
"... It's hard to fool you, as expected." Feylit commented as he began dodging the earth spikes and punching Kon's earth armor, using water spheres to protect his hands.
Unlike the ineffectiveness of the previous attacks, Feylit now damaged and chipped away at Kon's rock armor. He even used the water-covered fists to break some of the earth spikes coming at him.
Having to dodge and counter the attacks of the earth spikes as he tried to attack Kon, Feylit who was slowed twice, could still keep up with him, but just barely.
This situation allowed Kon to block Feylit's attacks as well as counter them every once in a while. The hits Feylit got in chipped away and cracked Kon's rock amor, while the hits Kon got in occasionally hurt Feylit to the point of getting blood out of him.
At some point, Feylit managed to punch Kon in the face, but this time, it just stopped not going through the rock armor at all, as his hand had no water around it, only lightning.
"It seems you based your whole catalog of moves on being able to counter me. Hehehe!" Feylit couldn't help but laugh as he created some distance between them, by stepping back.
"Not really. I'm just resourceful." Kon expressed as his rock armor now had vines and wood going through the cracks in between the rocks as flowers began to bloom.
As the rain poured on them, Kon and Feylit, looked at each other, no moves were made at all.
"Time to start getting serious?" Kon asked.
"You'll definitely regret asking for that," Feylit replied.
Just then Feylit's eyes went from blue to red together with his hair which also turned red, and his lightning cloak also became red.
On the other side, Kon's rock armor became bigger and much more detailed like some sort of super armor, surrounded by wood and vines.
"Lightning Mode: V6-Red Rider active!" Feylit chanted.
"Earth Mode: Lithos and Astheno Warrior Armor!" Kon chanted.
Jumping into the air and using his own red lightning as a platform, Feylit began moving around the air.
From below him, a giant earth hand emerged and came down to smash him.
Not just standing there, Feylit used his red lightning as a platform and reached Kon on the ground.
As soon as he landed, he was met with 8 punches all at once, as Kon had 7 more earth fists coming from his body side from his usual one.
This was evaded and then Feylit shot his red lightning at Kon.
*Shock* *Boom!*
Unlike before when it would just disperse upon contact, the lightning got in like a spear and then exploded. That however did very little as the damaged area immediately reformed.
"Solid lightning?... That still travels through the air like lightning?... Hahaha! I will never get used to this one, no matter how many times I see it!" Kon laughed at the notion despite it having just happened.
"Says the man covered in a shapeshifting earth armor that's both hard and malleable to the extreme at the same time..." Feylit retorted as he formed a red lightning sword and attacked.
The red lightning sword clashed with Kon's armored fist and the collision spread an impact wave that created strong winds repelling all the rain around them, knocking out some trees and overall vegetation of the ground, then causing a deep crater to be created under them.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that this one exchange between them, was a terraforming act that affected an area of around 300 meters(328 yards) radius.
At that time Feylit and Kon continued to engage in close combat, and Feylit cut Kon's armored arm, right before being punched by an armored arm that came from Kon's chest.
Like some sort of abomination, various giant hands came out of Kon then began attacking Feylit, while the earth spikes came back, rising from the ground to impale and make things much more annoying for him.
Dodging both the hands descending on him, and the earth spikes rising to meet him, Feylit moved into the dense forest, where the attacks continue coming after him as Kon followed surfing on the earth. Right then, to make things even worse for spark boy, the vegetation around also began attacking him, though it was immediately carbonized by his lightning cloak upon contact.
This chase went on as they carved a new road through the forest.
Eventually, as they were going through, they reached a clearing, where they found the pink slime on top of the green boar, being attacked by the two foxes with flame tails, while Veiled Mistress observed from the side.
"... Oh shit!..." Veiled Mistress exclaimed upon seeing the two coming through.
At that moment, Feylit sent a red lightning bolt at the pink slime, while the veiled Mistress and the boar with the slime on it, were both surrounded by earth domes make of earth spikes. The one on the Veiled Mistress was not protective, rather it restrained her and put the earth spikes' pointy tips on her neck, and the one around the green boar with the pink slime on it was protective and even looked like it had an earth lightning rod of sort on top of it.
*Boom!*
The red lightning stopped and didn't harm the green boar or the pink slime, even though it completely destroyed the earth spike dome.
Using this opportunity the green boar escaped while carrying the pink slime.
"Taking a hostage was never really your style... Coming down to my level are we?" Feylit taunted Kon with a smile on his face but made no more movements.
"Don't say too much! He might kill me if you annoy him! Are you trying to kill me?!" Veiled Mistress complained.
"In a way... I guess that's true. Anyway, I hope you accept your death." Kon said to Feylit ignoring Veiled Mistress as he moved toward the still Feylit and created an earth spike dome around him.
At the same time, the flame foxes began changing shape until what was coming from their tails and mouths was water rather than fire, and both foxes crunched the earth spikes restraining Veiled Misstress.
Inside the earth spike dome, multiple earth spikes were formed from all sides and pierced through Feylit, the only part of him unaffected being his hand which was left on the outside of the dome not covered in lightning at all.
Once Kon was close enough he grabbed Feylit's hand and just like before cut his finger which had already healed again, and then used the blood to start drawing on Feylit's hand.
"I'm free! You can escape you jerk!" Veiled Mistress yelled as she turned to mist with her foxes.
*Rumble!* *Strike!* *Crack*
Lightning from the sky came down on the some and sent Kon back a few meters.
Walking out of the explosion was a purple-haired and eyed Feylit with equally purple lightning cloaking him. His wounds were nowhere to be seen.
"Lightning Mode: V8-Purple Prowler active!" Feylit chanted.
In front of him, however, was a more compact earth armor, behind Kon being two giant earth beasts. One is a giant turtle with a mage tail, and the other is a giant gorilla with extra thick arms.
"Earth Mode: Upper and Lower Mantle Beast Masked Warrior!!" Kon chanted.
Using some sort of propulsors, Kon charged at Feylit while his armored arm had earth-pressure pillars coming from it, then they went back into the arm once he threw out the punch.
Not exerting much effort Feylit dodged and the impact of Kon's punch flattened a straight line spanning 600 meters(656 yards).
"Four times faster than V4, you should already know that." Feylit used this opening and was going to kick Kon, but the giant earth gorilla hammered both its hands-on him.
This move was avoided by Feylit and caused great damage to the ground creating a large crater.
Once that was no longer a problem for him, Feylit used his purple lightning as a platform to go up and then used another one to descend on Kon at high speed.
That was however stopped by the giant earth turtle who put itself in the way and dispersed the lightning taking no real damage from the attack.
At that time, Kon came through the turtle and chanted. "Seal: Slow 3x! Interlock Seal: Slow 4x!!"
"Hahaha! Again?! Just how many slow seals did you set up?!" Feylit narrowed his eyes with a frown.
"8 of them." Kon answered calmly.
"You're a demon! What other bullshit do you have in store?" Feylit's eye twitched upon listening to Kon.
As soon as he said so, the rain that had been carefully set up by Feylit began to disperse, despite the fact it should have lasted for at least 2 weeks within a few hours of its creation it was undone.
"You know, I liked it more when your broken abilities were working on my side." Feylit threw purple lightning at Kon and the earth turtle.
*Boom!*
One after the other, Feylit began showering them in purple lightning bolts.
As he did so, the earth gorilla punched at him multiple times, and Feylit dodged.
Right after a wave of impact came and cut off Feylit's left arm. Lightning came from him to reattach the arm to his body.
Slowly but surely, Feylit was attacked by Kon, and the earth gorilla making him unable to react properly, now under the effect of being slowed.
This is the moment, Feylit was caught by the Earth gorilla being completely restrained as it changed and caged him in an Earth sphere, leaving only one of his hands out, the same hand with a blood symbol slightly drawn on it.
Using this opportunity, Kon came to him, and once again cut his finger on his teeth, drawing the rest of the symbol on his hand.
"Done, your rain boost is gone, you're too slow to do anything, your lightning has little to no effect, and now I've completed the seal... In the end, I couldn't put myself to really kill you, but you won't see the light of day until things have ended. This conflict is no longer yours, rest and let the people of this era take care of it. Goodbye." Kon expressed as he looked Feylit in the eyes.
Just like that, the sphere was buried underground with the hand being the one thing outside. Around that same hand, a hollow pedestal was built to cover it, and behind the pedestal a tombstone.
On the tombstone, it said: Here rests Feylit Eron Bleier; known as the otherworlder hunter and great friend.
"Rest, for now, you've done enough..." Kon did one last prayer.
Above in the sky that was already starting to become clear blue, dark clouds began to gather once more.
*Sigh* "You could have just stayed down and nobody would have said a thing... Or even known..." Kon shook his head as he entered the ground.
From the dark cloud and singular black bolt of lightning fell down on Feylit's grave.
*Rumble* *BOOM!!!*
A massive explosion spanning an area of 6000 meters(6561 yards) radius took place and carbonized everything in that area into nothing but barren land.
Quite literally rising from the grave, Feylit got out of his prison. His hair is now black, his eyes are still purple, and the lightning around him, darker than black.
"Lightning Mode: V10-Black Blur Brawler active!" Feylit chanted.
*Crack!* *Bam!*
From the ground, a giant magma fist-punched Feylit who was caught off guard high into the air all the way to the clouds.
Out of the hole created by said fist was a now magma-covered armored Kon, his arms being fully magma now.
"Earth Mode: Outer and Inner Core Monk!" Kon chanted.
Black lightning fell from the dark clouds and hit the ground, instead of causing any damage, Feylit appeared from a black blur.
"Interlock All Seal:Slow, activate! Seal:Slow 8x!" Kon chanted as soon as Feylit appeared.
"Hehehehe! Do you think slowing me down is going to help you this time? If you wanted to beat me in this form you should have prepared at least two more slow seals." Feylit expressed and appeared in front of Kon in an instant and grabbed him by the neck.
No response came from Kon who began punching Feylit with his magma hands to no effect.
"Enough?... You lost and this isn't even my strongest form... I guess you never got to see V12 since you left me to fend for myself in the blood forest! Do you have any idea how unsightly it was to deal with that sword bitch and the fire fucker?!" Feylit complanied and bouts of black lightning fell on the ground causing immense damage to the already barren surroundings.
Various earth spikes rose from the ground and broke upon contact with Feylit.
Following that, earth hands pulled him to the ground, and Kon turned his magma arm into a sword and covered it in a green aura, before cutting Feylit's arm off freeing himself, then making some distance.
*Huff* *Huff* *Huff* *Huff* "How... Did you free... Yourself from the seal?" Kon asked as he grabbed Feylit's hand which was still holding onto his neck and threw it at him.
Another black lightning fell in front of Kon and Feylit came out of a black blur right then.
"Simple you're not the only one with a backup plan. In the same way, you had more slow seals ready, I had a lightning cloud ready just in case. 3 in fact... You only made me use one... I'm a bit disappointed, you used to be stronger than this... What happened?" Feylit looked down on a heavy-breathing Kon as he explained.
".... I gave up my chi... I have barely any in me... So I couldn't fight like before... Even so, I still believed this could be done... I underestimated you... I thought the fight in the Blood Forest would have left you with serious injuries..." Kon expressed.
"... Being honest, I surrendered... I couldn't fight that sword bitch... Much less while she was with the fire fucker... So I surrendered, that's why I don't have any major injuries..." Feylit spoke calmly with a frown on his face.
"Hahaha! The great and mighty Feylit surrendered... *Cough* Then again, you were up against the Grand Commander of the Reyha royal army and her second in command. I guess you're not as stubborn as I thought... *Cough* That's good, that gives me hope that someone will reach you in a way I never could... *Cough* I'm sorry, I couldn't be the one to save you." Kon smiled genuinely happy.
"You bastard... I didn't need your saving... I already told you that..." Feylit had anger in his voice but his expression and tears said otherwise.
Both closed their eyes as Feylit decapitated Kon, giving him a quick and painless ending.
Following that, Feylit buried Kon and even carved a tombstone that said: Here lies, Kon, The Seer Monk, The greatest of friends.
"I know you won't forgive me for this, but now that I've come this far... I truly can never back down or I'll also never forgive myself..." Feylit an atheist man, gave Kon a prayer before leaving.
