-Emiya-
Meeting with his old classmate was unexpected, but a welcome one. They talked about a lot of things about themselves, however Emiya concealed a lot of things from his former friend.
Like for example his death, thanks to Issei he found out that no one knew about his 'death' as the man didn't really say anything about it.
Which means, his death was private and only a certain amount of the population knew about it.
With this, he won't have to bother explaining things to those who weren't part of the moonlit world.
"It was nice meeting you after a long time, Issei."
"Yes, the same with you Emiya. Although, it relieves me to know that you're doing fine despite dropping out of highschool."
After that, he left the temple and went to the hotel where he left Ymir. He wasn't really expecting to leave her for this long and was sure that she's probably getting concerned about my lateness.
—
"You're back!" Ymir tackled him and grabbed his waist tightly, afraid that he might leave again if she wasn't holding him tightly enough.
As he expected, she was indeed concerned. Too concerned in fact.
"Woah, calm down." She didn't, not for at least a half-hour and only then, she let go.
He couldn't help but think how this girl became too attached to him, to the point that it's unhealthy.
But knowing her past, it wasn't really that complicated to understand why she's attached, for he is the person who showed her kindness for a long time and someone who saw her as a human being and not as a slave.
Emiya knew that he had to apologize, it wasn't really his intention to leave her here for a considerable amount of time.
"My bad for leaving you here alone, I didn't expect to meet a friend on my way back, either way you're going with me this time."
Ymir nodded, and the next thing she did was quite unexpected as she suddenly grabbed his right hand and held it tightly.
Although it was surprising, he didn't say anything and left the hotel room that he rented.
—
For his next destination, he went to his old home, where he grew up to the man he is now today.
As they arrived, he couldn't help but be surprised because the house never changed at all, it was like someone was regularly fixing it.
It was still the same as the day he left Fuyuki, which was honestly strange as he never left anyone to take care of the house.
In fact, he was expecting the house to be abandoned or at least being used by another family.
But it wasn't the case at all, it means that someone was maintaining the house exactly the same before he left.
And to accurately do something like this, it could only mean that whoever they are, they're someone who knew him long enough to the point they could remember details like this.
There isn't much in the list to begin with, which means the person who maintained the house is either 1 of the 2.
Or perhaps both at the same time, and it's either Taiga, who is his big sister in all but blood or Sakura if she's still alive in this timeline.
He wasn't really sure about it, because he had been in numerous timelines where Sakura dies after the holy grail, mostly because in those timelines his younger self dies and she would soon follow because she's someone who lives solely for him.
Without him, her life was basically meaningless and painful, in a way he became her lifeline, she lived for him.
That's why he wasn't sure if she's even alive at this point.
"Teacher? You're looking at this house for a while now…what is this place to you?" Ymir couldn't help but ask him.
Emiya replied. "Well, this is the place where I grew up and lived for the rest of my childhood."
Ymir's eyes widened at the revelation and began to look at the house in a different manner.
It was curiosity, not that he could blame the girl, so they went inside the place and tried to open the door only for it to be closed.
What was he expecting anyway? For it to be open?
Emiya let out a sigh, this is certainly one of his dumb moments, while he could easily break the lock with his strength. It would cause a commotion.
Besides, it's easier and more convenient for him to trace a key to unlock the door, not to mention wiser.
As he was about to suddenly, someone shouted behind their back, a familiar one to Emiya.
"Hey! What are the two of you doing in this place?! It's private property! If you don't have a proper statement for stepping inside this land I will call the police!"
As Emiya looked behind, he saw an enraged Taiga who was ready to call the police anytime.
After a decade she definitely changed, her hair is longer and she has that 'mature' vibe on her aura that wasn't there before.
This was her, his original Taiga and knowing that made her very precious to him, unknowingly he smiled at her.
And this act made her hesitate because of how genuine that smile is, however her logical mind won over this strangely familiar charm.
"I will ask you once again, what is your business here." This time, her gaze was as deadly as it could be.
However, he remained unfazed as a counter guardian, he had experienced different kinds of deadly glares and compared to that, hers is pretty cute in comparison.
Anyway, it was clear that she hadn't recognized him. Not that he can blame her, after all he definitely changed so much that he's basically unrecognizable compared to his younger-self.
If that wasn't the case, then anyone from the holy grail war, especially his master Rin Tohsaka who was definitely familiar with his younger-self would have surely recognized him.
But she didn't, mostly thanks to his new appearance, his height, hair color, skin color, eyes color and hairstyle.
Then, he answered her question with.
"To enter my home."
"Huh..?" Taiga was taken aback by his answer, and quickly turned murderous!
The audacity of this guy! How dare he claim this house as his-
Then froze in the spot, as she saw him bring down his hair, revealing a familiar face, with shock and great disbelief on her face and said. "S-shirou…?"
"That's me, alright. It's been a while since Taiga. It's good to see you." It has truly been a while, this was something he could only imagine while in the hands of Alaya.
And to think there would be a day he would be able to have this conversation, to say that this was a miracle was an understatement.
Upon realizing that her little brother but in-blood was back, tears started forming from her eyes and without a warning she tackled him with a hug.
Thankfully his structure and balance was strong, so he avoided falling down into the ground.
"Shirou! You're back! You're really back! I can't believe it!" She hugged him really tight that if he were someone normal, there's no doubt his spine would have been rearranged by now.
Ymir, who was by his side, didn't know what to do in this situation.
It certainly took a while for her to calm down, but right after she did her breakdown, immediately a consecutive slap hit his face.
Slap! Slap! Slap!
"WHAT. WERE. YOU. THINKING!" An angry Taiga was such a sight to see.
"Suddenly leaving within a warning! You didn't say goodbye or anything at all! Do you know how worried I was?!" Tears started to form once more at the reminder of those times.
But she quickly wiped it out from her eyes, and then glared at her little brother. "Where were you all this time anyway?! And how did you change so much?! I know it's been a decade but I hardly recognize you!"
Taiga looked at him in disbelief, the contrast was too great to start with.
White hair, tanned skin and ridiculously tall.
"What the heck did you eat to grow this big?!"
"A lot of rice."
However, she was not amused at his answer and said. "What have you been doing this past several years…don't tell me you strayed into the dark path of NTR'ing hot married MILF's! You certainly got the looks for it!"
"What the heck are you talking about…" Emiya seriously has no idea what nonsense she's saying.
"You know what, let's go inside there's a lot of things I want to talk about you, and I still haven't forgiven you for the stunt you pulled and-" Taiga finally noticed Ymir and suddenly gasped in shock.
And he decided could tell that she definitely misunderstood something.
"S-shirou you..! T-that girl! There's no doubt about it! The hair, that face I knew it!" Taiga pointed at Ymir.
"Knew what?" Emiya raised a brow.
"That this girl is your lovechild with that foreigner you stayed with 10 years ago! Yes, I think I recalled her name. That woman named Saber!"
No, she's completely off the mark!
However, he can't exactly fault her for thinking that way, after all it does make sense from the outsiders perspective.
Either way, just because Ymir has blonde hair and a similar face it doesn't mean she's Arturia's!
What she's doing is literally stereotyping every single western woman with blonde hair!

A/N - This chapter is very bland for my taste, honestly it took me a few hours to finish this where I could have finished it way earlier. Next chapter is going to be the last of Emiya's side story and will be back for the MC's.
Support me on P@.treon, even if it's just for a month I'd be really grateful.
