"Do my heels really need to be branded? Can't it just be cheaper ones? It's not like anyone could tell the difference anyway…" Ai mused out loud.
"Well, technically you're right, however, tell that to my sister," I said to her seriously.
Ai didn't need to think about it and immediately answered. "Branded is fine too, I hate to tell you this but your sister is intense…"
I couldn't even deny that claim, because it's true, not to mention 'intense' isn't the right word to describe Lorelei but someone who got a massive stick buried deep into her ass.
"No, you don't have to hate it, 'cause it's true but 'intense' is not the right word, anyway I'm curious when did you start calling my sister by her name?" I asked with interest.
"Yesterday, your sister told me to call her by her name," Ai replied casually like it was not a big deal.
I blinked in surprise and answered. "Really? Just like that?"
"Yes? Why is there something wrong with that?" Ai tilted her head, not understanding how amazing that feat is.
"No, there isn't anything wrong with that, it's just surprising," I said while crossing both of my arms together.
"Why is it surprising? It is such a big deal for anyone to call her by her name?" Ai made a slight frown on her beautiful face.
"Yes, you have no idea, there's only a handful of people that have the right to call her by her first name, you, me, and him." I pointed at her, then at myself, and then to my brother-in-law.
There's also our parents, but it isn't too important that I have to mention it, as for Zelretch, as far as I know, he doesn't have permission to call my sister by her name, but regardless he did call her lass or Lorelei.
Ai blinked in surprise. "Really?"
"Really, most people that know her call Lorelei, Lord Barthomeloi, or Vice Director," I stated.
"So, calling her by name with permission is really that special?" Ai couldn't contain her shock as she realized how important the privilege she was given was.
"Yep." I made sure to make a popping sound at the 'p'.
"Even my brother-in-law didn't call her that during their first few years of dating each other," I added more fuel to her shock.
"W-what…" Ai couldn't properly form a sentence as she realized calling Lorelei by her given name is an achievement that only a few could achieve.
"Anyway, don't think too much about it." I gave her some friendly advice.
"Don't think about it?! Do you really think I won't think about it now that I know how special it is to call your sister by her given name!" Ai exclaimed silently as she didn't want to get anyone's attention, especially Lorelei.
"Fair enough." I wasn't going to deny that and continued. "Anyway, let's go, there's still a lot of things that Lorelei wanted to buy for you and the kids."
I held her hand, surprising her for a bit, however, she didn't reject the skin contact, instead, she tightly clenched her fingers into mine.
Now we're holding hands together, we just followed where Lorelei was going silently and didn't say anything for a while, not because it's awkward between us but because it was comfortable.
At this point, I wasn't sure what to call our relationship, as it is complicated but for now, perhaps this is enough.

"Say, what are you going to do with your idol career right now?" I recalled her current occupation, honestly now that I'm in the picture, she doesn't need to work as an idol as I could support them myself.
Ai paused for a bit and started musing and only after a minute, she answered. "I don't know…the reason why I became an idol in the first place is that it's the only job that I could have when I was twelve, it was also my ticket away from the orphanage as I realized that my mother had no intention of taking me back after she got out from jail, honestly I'm glad that she didn't because life with her is hard."
Her eyes dimmed for a bit, before changing back to their usual light. "Anyway, because of that it made me who I am today, I did not regret it!"
She smiled in my direction, and despite how beautiful she may look, I knew that it was fake, that smile is measured to perfection, it was eerie.
I've seen plenty of fake masks before, especially in the clock tower, but I've rarely seen anyone with a mask as thick as Ai.
I mean I noticed this when we were still dating, but I didn't really pay attention before as I was focusing on how to get into her pants at that time, as embarrassing as that past is.
Hormones were a nightmare for me at that time, I acted like a horny dog without regard for anyone as long as I got some pussy.
But now, without hormones that blocked my line of thinking, it made me realize how bad her life is. I may not know the entire story but if I were to guess, her mother was probably abusive.
Anyway, I won't know the entire story if I don't ask her about it and I'm sure that she'd be defensive about her past, most people who went through abuse are defensive about it.
It's completely normal, now if I really wanted to know I could investigate it or just outright as D about it, she claimed to be omnipresent.
But asking her means I would prepare for the exchange, and I could predict what she wants in exchange, her kink.
Honestly, I don't want to mention that, especially when I'm in the presence of another woman, it feels wrong somehow.
Forget it, I have plenty of time to figure out her past, there's no need to rush.
Suddenly my smartphone rang and an unknown number called me, I frowned for a bit and decided to answer it as it may be important.
"Who is this?"
"Sir, this is the group that you hired to investigate the murder case." A rough man's voice was heard on the other side of the phone.
Oh, it already got a result? Impressive, I knew that they were more competent than the police.
"I see, so how is it? Did you see a body?"
"Indeed, it is as you mentioned. It's an adult male in his twenties judging from its bone structure." The man behind the phone replied.
'So it's true, he was really murdered, more reason to pursue the murderer.' No one gets away with murdering a Barthomeloi!
Or at least what my sister would say, because I can't imagine saying it without cringing.
It feels too edgy for me to say, or too young master.
"I see, so have you found any evidence that leads toward the murderer?" I asked hoping for good news, but sadly I won't be receiving it.
"Sadly, no."
"That's unfortunate." Indeed it was, maybe I was expecting too much after all the people I paid to investigate the murder case aren't part of the moonlit world.
Maybe I should hire an enforcer from the mage association instead?
No, that would be overkill for a murder case that doesn't have to do with the moonlit world, for now, I will wait for the result but if there's no improvement within the next month, then I have to go with hiring enforcers to investigate.
"Alright then, call me as soon as possible if you find anything," I said.
"Of course, sir." The man behind the phone replied.
And after that, the call ended. Ai approached me and asked. "Who were you calling?"
"It's nothing, the person who called me called the wrong number." I lied through my teeth without a single twitch on my face.
Ai quickly believed as there's no reason for me to lie about a simple matter, so she dropped the subject completely.
Then approached Aqua's stroller and lifted him. From an outside perspective, there was nothing wrong with this image as it looks like a father or brother lifting the toddler up to amuse the child.
Even Ai, Shirou, and Lorelei saw nothing wrong with it, on the other side of the note Lorelei used to lift me and she wasn't gentle, trust me I almost reincarnated again that time.
Anyway, Aqua gave me a questioning look and I whispered in his ear. "Your old body has been found."
Aqua's eyes widened and was about to say something, but I stopped him. "Don't talk, not here, let's discuss this at home, got it?'
Aqua was reluctant at first, but he saw the logic behind my words and decided that it was best to have this conversation at home.
Because there's not many people right now, Aqua can't risk exposing himself that he's capable of speaking fluently at the age of 1 year old. It definitely would be suspicious.
Not to the common folks, but to the people who are part of the moonlit world, like my sister and brother-in-law.
Reincarnation isn't unique in the moonlit world, it wasn't unheard of before, however, the reincarnation they know of isn't quite the same as mine or the twins.
As with most reincarnation, the mage association makes is body possession rather than starting as a baby.
After informing Aqua about his old body, I put him back into the stroller and continued our shopping trip.

A/N: When is this shopping going to end?!
No idea xD, but I'm definitely going to add more chaos.
Note, Alex actually hasn't even given twins the pokeball yet, because he got caught up by the moment Lorelei declared to shop.
