Izik felt his lungs about to give in from the sudden surge of air. Letting out a gasp, he fell to his knees, glaring at the woman's figure a few feet away from him. It took his everything to snap from fear and teleport himself away from her hold. His mind was racing, did she detect that he was planning to use Perspective on her? Izik's jaw went rigid as he picked himself up.
Wasting no time, Izik activated Perspective.

With lightning speed, the woman appeared in front of Izik who barely stepped backward, swinging Rakon which was blocked by the woman's arm. Izik's eyes widened, and his hand shook as he added more force to his sword but the woman only stared at him. Not budging. Just like that the dread he felt doubled making his stomach painfully churn.
"What are you looking at?" That sent icy shivers all over Izik's body. He remembered the conversation the guild had before entering the dungeon that bosses usually don't have any level of consciousness but it seemed like Lovelia was an exception.
She's strong, Izik's brain repeatedly told him. He was aware from the get-go that she wasn't any ordinary monster but experiencing her strength was a whole different thing.
How in the world was he going to defeat her? Just remembering the multiple question marks next to the word level on her window was already making Izik's brain hurt.
Activating teleport, Izik materialized next to his guild members. "Snap out of it or we will all die," he almost growled at them. Lovelia looked at them, standing poised and elegant. Summoning Fire Wall, he confined the monster inside. Izik knew he was merely buying time. It won't be enough to contain her.
"I can't even move," Smythe gritted her teeth. Izik could see how she was trembling "That stupid intimidation is making my whole body useless." As much as Izik wanted to tell her to suck it up, Lovelia's aura was indeed intimidating to the point of paralysis. The only reason he could move was because of Heavenly Body.
Clicking his tongue, Izik pulled up the shop while the monster was seemingly distracted by the Fire Wall surrounding her. Scrolling through the potions, one item caught his eye.

Izik inwardly cursed at how expensive the potion was but purchased five of it nonetheless. Defeating Lovelia was a must and her death would give Izik gold coins. He'll just consider the potion as an investment. Wasting no time, he immediately fed the potion to his guild members.
Pulling a vitality potion out of his bag, Izik tossed it to Ryo. "It's better to wake Kameron up." Considering how powerful Lovelia was they couldn't afford to fight with a member passed out. With a tight nod, Ryo quickly fed Kameron the potion. Within ten seconds, Kameron was coughing, and waking up.
"What's going on?" He asked as Aleksi put him down and Ryo quickly helped him before he could fall. Ryo only gave him a simple run down while feeding him the hearten potion. Kameron bombarded them with questions but he was cut off.
"You are not here to mourn the people," Lovelia's voice was as cold as ever however due to the potion they have ingested, they were no longer paralyzed by terror. "You are here to leave more people to die... to ignore my people's cry for help."
According to the dungeon lore, a plague broke out in the country and it was brought to Lovelia by unwelcomed traders. Soon the whole island was infected, and there was nothing but death every day. Lovelia sent a letter to her parents and the palace asking for help however all of it was ignored as everyone started fearing the disease will spread. Not only that, the island became a place where people with symptoms were dumped and left to die.

They all covered their ears. The loud cry was disorienting. The wind it brought was enough to dispel the Fire Wall. The awful sound rang in their head. It was enough to throw them off the loop. Izik could barely keep his eyes open.
"Someone make this bitch stop," Smythe gritted her teeth. The loud cries were still ongoing and it was starting to make them dizzy.
Aleksi slammed both hands on the ground with a growl. The earth rose like a wave, directed toward Lovelia. The monster stopped her screams as she jumped into the air, avoiding the earth wave. Without wasting any chance, the guild launched a succession of attacks on her which Lovelia easily avoid or deflected.
"I can't believe none of that worked on her," Kameron clicked his tongue. "Isn't she a class S monster? Wouldn't this dungeon increase its class from B to S?" The others voiced their agreement. Aleksi punched the ground, summoning numerous spikes that flew toward Lovelia. Lovelia didn't even flinch, she easily destroyed it with wind magic. She remained afloat in the air, still with those soft cries.
"We have to find a way to defeat her or we're gonna be stuck here," Quinlan reminded.
"We might need a miracle, we can't even touch her," The usually quiet Ryo commented.
Lovelia raised her hand and soon small black warp portal appeared, summoning knights.
"You've got to be kidding me," Smythe bitterly stated, spinning her spear and assuming a fighting stance.
"Quinlan, Error," Aleksi called. "We will deal with Lovelia. I will leave the knights to the others." They began to move, throwing attack after attack at Lovelia while the others began to move, fighting the surge of the knights.
Izik was starting to lose patience and couldn't help but want to tie the monster down to stop it from doing unnecessary movements.

"Buy me time," Izik shouted as he teleported meters away from the battle area. Pulling out the window, he stared at his available attribute points. He has 4 available attribute points. He was trying to accumulate more but he had no other choice as he placed all in Absolute Confinement.

According to the skill window, Absolute Confinement at level 5 should be able to hold down the target for a maximum of 30 minutes. There was also the possibility that depending on the monster's strength. He was unsure if it will hold down Lovelia but he needed to try.
Teleporting back to the battlefield, Quinlan summoned a huge black snake that was breathing a pillar of fire against Lovelia who was trying her best to block the attack. With the monster distracted, Izik position himself and summoned Absolute Confinement.
Much to everyone's surprise glowing chains slithered from the earth and wrapped around Lovelia's body. The chains pulled her to the ground. The monster fell on her knees, the chain tightening around her the more she tried to free herself. The summoning portals closed, and the knights fell on the floor, vanishing.
"Hey, Error!" Smythe angrily called. She looked beat up like the rest. "Do something like that earlier will you!"
"Sorry," Izik replied. If he will be honest, he actually forgot that he got Absolute Confinement and just remembered it when the need to hold Lovelia down rose.
"Let's not waste time!" Aleksi shouted, turning to Quinlan and Izik. Understanding what he wanted both positioned to deliver the final blow while Lovelia continued to fight against the chains. Lovelia darted her head to Izik.
"I pray for you," She spoke eerily. "Your death will always be remembered."

Before Izik could even move, dark runes covered his body, crawling all over his skin. Everyone looked at Izik in horror. They both couldn't understand what was happening but they don't need to understand it to know that it wasn't good.

Just like in the mythical dungeon, something on Izik's neck began to burn, bright lights spilled from his skin. It was blinding just like back in the mythical dungeon. Izik covered the blinding light appearing on his skin until he had to cover his mouth as he began to cough blood, spilling through his black mask.

Izik was unsure why Heavenly Body activated late but he was not going to complain anymore as the runes dissipated, bursting into smaller dust particles until not a single trace was left in his body.
"What's happening?" Lovelia asked, confused.
Izik only smiled, moving towards the monster. Drawing his hand back, Izik summoned the Heavenly Fire on his sword. It burned much fiercer than any other time. "Let's just say I am blessed by the Heavens." It's not like it was a lie. Lovelia, tried to fight back, to free herself from the chains.
"Don't worry, I'll pray for your soul," Izik swung his sword, beheading Lovelia. As her head fell to the earth, Izik jumped backward and called for Quinlan. Understanding what he wanted Quinlan ordered his summoned beast to torch the monster's body and head.
