Chapter 12 - Yes.. a journey!

3rd pov:

At the end of day one of the journey...

Sayuri and Arian have been traveling for nearly a day, Arian stopped along the way for rest and food or maybe a bathroom break or two.

Arian: Sayuri? You awake?

The white dragon looked back and noticed the beauty fast asleep on his back. He huffed out some black smoke from his nose and looked around for a clearing to sleep in. He finally found one and gracefully flew down.

The dragon carefully took the girl off of his back and laid down, once in a comfortable position, he laid the pointed-eared female down and laid his head down, keeping the other warm.

Arian huffed out some smoke, not caring about the faes that settled on his nose. The blonde-turned dragon allowed a rumble to resonate from his throat.

Arian: I could get used to this...

Sayuri: Mh.... soo warm.... sooo nice...

Start of day two

Sayuri jumped up out of her sleep and looked around, she felt a weight on her lap and looked down. She felt her face heat up as she noticed Arian's white scaly head resting on her lap. He looked comfortable.

The girl gently ran her hand up and down the blonde's neck brushing against his scales and then his horns.

She looked down at Arian's eyes, she never noticed but under Arian's eyes was some gold rune-like tattoos, they looked nice.

After Sayuri had failed to notice the sun that was rising on the horizon, she also failed to notice the number of flowers slowly opening around them as well as this one little fairy close to her.

Expo: Umm, your highness...

The boy looked up at the pale yellow light and raised an eyebrow.

Expo: I think we should get breakfast and leave, Arian is allergic to pollen and the flowers are starting to open.

Sayuri nodded and started to shake the sleeping dragon.

Sayuri: Oh great lord! Good morning! Come on wake up, Dandelion!

The white dragon's eyes blinked open, he raised his head and looked at Sayuri who gasped.

Sayuri: Woho... your eyes are beautiful... and these colors. Are they slightly different? They are soo pretty like gems.

Arian: Yeah, one of my eyes is slightly lighter than the other, not many people notice it.

Sayuri nodded and got up, she snapped her fingers and some fairies came towards them carrying some fruits from inside the forest and the two ate while the faes 'sneakily' stole some of the berries in the pile.

Arian: Ready to go?

The girl carefully climbed back on the white dragon's back and held the bag in her hand tightly before nodding. Arian gracefully took off and glided above the clouds, he said it was so his shadow wasn't casted, and so that people couldn't see them.

A few hours later

Sayuri sat on Arian's back, bored. All day, she had been playing with the clouds and talking to stray faes, but now she was truly bored.

She looked at the dragon who was looking around and keeping his balance in the sky against the harsh wind. Finally, Sayuri had an idea. She ran up the dragon's neck, ignoring the grunts given off by said dragon.

Sayuri: Say Blondie, you want me to call you Blondie or should I actually find a nice nickname other than Dandelion too?

The dragon's grace faltered for a moment, forcing Sayuri to hold onto his horns as he stabilized himself once more and looked up at the omega who stared back with curious green eyes.

Arian: Sure do whatever you want.

Sayuri: Ari it is.

Arian mentally smiled at the other's excitement and silently continued to fly

Four hours later, near sundown

Sayuri: Ahm Ari, do you think it would be too much to spend the night in a town? I think you could use some goodnight rest on a bed as well.

Arian looked down and saw a small town below a few miles away.

He looked back at the other and thought about it, Sayuri isn't from his world, and since his world is different, so might as well let her have an experience or two of a lifetime in his.

Arian: Sure

The fairy queen on the dragon's back cheered and Arian picked up speed, later landing a short distance outside the town and transforming back. He took the bag from Sayuri, went behind a tree, and changed.

Instead of his dirty brown trousers, he wore black slacks, a white short-sleeved shirt, and a dark red vest. Simple yet you can see the importance he held. Arian put on a hood and they walked to the town together.

Sayuri: I am not from around here but I know things are not for free. I don't have any money, and I never saw if you had any... so what do we do...

The blonde laughed and held up a bag full of coins.

Sayuri: Oh... well that works too...

Arian: I was supposed to stay with a family friend, but I chose to stay in the forest and save my money for the future.

Sayuri nodded and they walked into town, not many people looked at them, those who did only wondered why there was an omega in such a town, especially with such a scary alpha.

The omega held Arian's hand and pulled him towards the stall that caught her eye, it sold jewels and figurines.

Sayuri (whispering): Uhhh soo shiny...

Sayuri: Can we have a look inside, pretty please?!

Arian laughed at Sayuri's whining and handed her ten silver and nine gold coins.

Arian: Knock yourself out Sayuri, stay close tho.

Sayuri nodded at Arian who walked to the store next door. It sold food and the graceful dragon prince bought some and put them away as the other came running up to him with the most excited smile on her face.

Arian: You ready to go to an Inn?

Sayuri looked up in confusion.

Arian: Somewhere we can sleep, till tomorrow, then, we'll be on our way.

Sayuri nodded at the possible new experience and held Arian's hand waiting for him to lead the way.

Both disregarded the fact that they were blushing and walked in silence to the inn.

Day three...

Arian woke up first today, he felt something fluffy under his nose. Looking down he saw Sayuri cuddled up to him. The blonde smiled and ran his fingers through the other's hair.

The smaller of the two grumbled and opened his eyes.

Sayuri: Mh~ Don't move... it soo warm....

Arian: Well I am going to be naturally warm, I am a dragon, and to be able to fly at such high altitudes, we need to be able to stay warm.

Arian got up and put on his vest and shoes, Sayuri nodded and did the same and they went down to the diner o the ground floor.

???: Oh hello Arian, you're awake.

Arian nodded at the adult and she handed over two plates and two mugs to the two men. They bowed and thanked her.

???: Take a seat and eat, I'll make some food for you both for your journey.

Sayuri: How do you know her?

Arian: That's Ink, she's the auntie of one of my friends who didn't believe the rumors.

Sayuri nodded and ate. When they had finished Ink walked out of the kitchen, a girl with equally green hair following her with a sack.

???: Hello Arian, it's been a while.

Arian: Yeah Ember, it's been a few years.

Sayuri looked at Arian who ruffled the girl's hair affectionately. She wouldn't admit it but the short female omega was jealous.

Tsu: Who's this? Your mate?

Sayuri looked away and Arian glared at her.

Arian: Sadly no, but we have to get going, we have a week and four days left to reach the castle.

Inko nodded and Tsu handed over the sack, Arian thanked them and both bid them farewell and left the inn, then the town.

Arian: You ready to leave?

He looked down and saw Sayuri with two green earrings in her hand.

Sayuri: You know the things here are soo pretty. This one especially, I was thinking, you could... you know... wear them... they would fit you. I also got this for myself.

Sayuri showed Arian the red jewel tied to a string around her neck. It made her look even more beautiful in Arian's eyes.

Arian: So you want to give those to me?

Sayuri nodded and looked away. The blonde bent down and allowed Sayuri to put the earrings in his already pierced ears.

Sayuri: As I thought green really suits you, especially these Emeralds.

Arian smirked and brushed his cheek.

Arian: Thanks Sayuri, you're quite cute as well.

The blonde transformed back and used his wing to help the shorter omega onto his back with the food and their bags. Sayuri settled comfortably and talked with her three little fae friends as Arian flew above the white, fluffy clouds.

Timeskip brought to you by Sayuri and Arian unconsciously flirting with each other

It's been a week since the two and the three faes have been traveling, the journey has been quiet and peaceful, aside from Expo, Flammae, and Aquarius bugging Arian when Sayuri was asleep and when they were bored, or Arian and Sayuri flirting with each other when they take the time to let the blonde rest. They've met some interesting people along the way, whether running into people by accident or people who Arian used to know.

One thing was clear to the people and the fae, something they will never tell Sayuri or risk getting Arian angry at them, The two...

The two were made for each other.
