"You know exactly what." Heddwyn punches with his other hand and Beluf catches that one too.
Beluf lies, egging Heddwyn on more. "I'm afraid I don't, baby cakes."
Heddwyn laughs, lowering his head. "I can't take you seriously when you keep flirting with me."
(Narrator) Yeah, Heddwyn gonna get some!
"Then maybe you should join me." Beluf stares deeply into his eyes.
To break out of his grip, Heddwyn thrusts his forehead into Beluf's nose. This takes the Wolfman off balance, landing on his back with a deep thud. Heddwyn gets on top of him, pinning him down. Locking his arms to the ground, sitting on the Wolfman's crotch.
Panting Heddwyn says, "How's that for flirting? Surrender Beluf. I've won this fight.
Beluf, also panting, says, "Not until I get a kiss." Beluf Beams, enjoying the feeling of Heddwyn's ass resting against his groin.
Heddwyn titters, unable to resist the Wolfman's advances any longer. "You're unbelievable. You know that?" He gets in close, kissing Beluf on the lips for a few moments, really leaning into it. He feels something pulse beneath him and pulls out of the kiss. "Alright. You got your kiss. I think it's time you honour your end of our little bargain."
"Alright, alright, fine." Beluf says. He looks over to the announcers booth and surrenders.
The MC was a little too invested in watching the two and stalls before snapping out of her trance. "Oh, uh. It looks like we have a winner! But if you ask me, there wasn't a loser either." there was a clear suggestive hint as she finished speaking. "Alright everyone, that's it for today, enjoy the rest of your days, and we will see you all here tomorrow for the semi-finals AND the finals of the dragon festival."
Heddwyn lets go of Beluf's arms and the Wolfman swiftly places his hands on Heddwyn's hips.
Heddwyn pushes his arms off him. "Would you stop?" Heddwyn feels something pulse under him again. "Alright that's enough. You need to control yourself. We only just met and you're already thinking about that?" Heddwyn promptly stands, it being too soon for him to engage in such activities.
"You're killing me here." Beluf says, leaning up on his elbows.
Heddwyn couldn't help but stare at Beluf's bare chest. "If you want a piece of me, you're going to need to be the goodest of boys."
"You son of a bitch. You did that on purpose. Fine, I can't refuse when you say that."
Thankfully the projections had been turned off, what they said wasn't heard to the public.
(Narrator) But I definitely won't be forgetting this. I feel like the universe just gave me my dreams.
Back in the waiting room of the coliseum. Every. Last. Person. In there. Has been stunned into silence, especially Heddwyn's kids.
"What the fuck just happened?" Kiana says, seemingly emerging from a corner.
"Ah! How long have you been here?" Ibun asks.
"Uh, the entire time?"
"Oh, I didn't see you sitting there." Ibun slouches down.
"Al-right then. Will someone answer my question?"
...
...
...
Haider breaks the silence with a sudden scream as he feels Hayle nudge him. "I, uh. I think dad has finally found someone he likes."
"It's honestly shocking." Heather continues.
"He adopted us nine, almost ten years ago. We've never seen him interested in, well anyone. Before." Christopher says.
Haider makes a very inappropriate comment in a very...animated way. "Yeeah, dad's about to get some of that Wolfman D!"
Christopher cringes. "Too soon bro...Too soon."
"I think it's cute." Heather says, her voice rising as she finishes the sentence.
"CUTE? You think that, watching our father participating in. Borderline sex on public entertainment, was cute!" Christopher shrieked.
In that moment, Heddwyn and Beluf enter, joking around, arms entangled. "Hey all." Heddwyn waves his free arm.
...
"Alright, I'm just going to come out and say it." Christopher starts.
Heather interrupts him. "No you won't." she commands. Quickly smiling back at her father.
"Say what?" Heddwyn asks nervously.
...
...
"Fuck it. Do you like him?" Christopher points to the Wolfman attached to him.
"Christopher!" Heather says, berating her brother.
"It's fine heather, that's a valid question to ask." Heddwyn says calmly. With a little nervousness in his voice, Heddwyn breathes deep. "I do, and I know you probably don't like that."
Haider stops him. "No, dad. We're good with it. Christopher just wanted to make sure."
"I see."
"Good then. It was about time anyway." Christopher stands and gets close to Beluf, staring through his brow. "If you hurt him. Not in a physical sense. But in an emotional one. I will curse you into the cold unforgiving depths of Hel...Do you understand me?"
"Holy shit. You have some intense looking kids."
"Just this one actually." Heddwyn jokes.
"I understand. Your father has placed the boundary already. I promise to never overstep that line."
"Good. Make him happy. We certainly can't. At least at the moment." Christopher says.
Beluf looks to Heddwyn. "What does he mean by that?"
"This little shit got himself banished from Stocaea. And the other two were supposed to stop anything like this from happening. So, I'm training them in the field. Making sure their senses don't dull."
"What the hell did you do? You're only a kid." Beluf says, looking back at the lad.
"That's a sensitive subject. It's best if you don't know." Christopher backs off, Heather and Haider stand behind him. "But just know. My brother and sister are my tether, the ones who keep me in check."
"And our brother guides us with his mind." Haider continues.
"If any one of us were missing, we would be lost." Heather finishes.
(Narrator) I like that. Very poetic.
"We best be off anyway. Zoey must be worried sick. We haven't been back to the inn in a while." Christopher says.
"No she won't." Heddwyn says. "This tournament is being broadcasted to the entire country. She knows you're safe."
"Right. We should go see her anyway. It'll be nice to catch up. And eat her food too." Christopher replies.
The trio walks out of the room and Beluf pulls Heddwyn in close. "I like your cubs. They're feisty, like their da."
"Cmon now Beluf, save it for another time."
We arrive back at the Karthein Inn Maranus, and Zoey, the franchise's CEO, can be heard yelling at her staff during the rush of the day.
"It's been a year since this branch was opened. What in The Mountain God's beard have you been doing?" "N-n-n-n-no I don't want to hear excuses. You guys were given the recipes to cook the food, and also the training to entertain the guests. Yet, I see fault after fault. I'm gonna whip you idiots into shape. And if you don't like it. You can get out."
Our trio arrive in the middle of this spat between Zoey and her staff.
"I don't care if I'm a 'pathetic human' dwarf. As everyone's boss here. You all ultimately answer to me. You hear me!" "you know what? Get out of my sight."
Zoey sighs, exhausted at this point. Heather launches herself at Zoey, embracing her from behind. "You getting some trouble here, Zoey?"
She has all her staff lined up in front of the customers. "Heather! Am i glad to see you! The boys too of course." Zoey's staff begin murmuring to one another. Pointing at the newest celebrities around town.
"Are your staff giving you some headaches? Do you need us to rough em up a bit?" Haider says, cracking his knuckles.
"No. I don't think that will be necessary. However, Christopher can. I remember he has a sick fascination with the art of torture." Christopher walks up, pulling out a small knife, looking at each one of them.
(Narrator) Good. He understood the assignment.
Zoey's staff promptly shit themselves, realising the close relationship between their boss and these three.
Zoey laughs full of glee. "Alright, I think they get the message. Now get back to work. Tomorrow, you all will be training again. This complacency of your failure will not stand." They all rush off, back to the kitchen, back to entertaining guests.
...
Zoey pivots round, a beaming smile on her face. "It's so good to see you guys. I saw your fights at the festival. They were awesome, especially your latest one Haider." she lays eyes upon the hulking Hayle. "So this is Hayle. He's much taller than I thought. Are you able to stand properly, big guy?"
"Yes. Roof. Nice and. Tall." Hayle replies.
"Good. I'm glad you're able to. I can't have a satisfied patreon now, can we?"
"How's business?" Heather asks.
"Oh you know. The typical thing, and. That fiasco. But other than that, good. Anyone that saw you before the festival now comes here to eat. If I have a table available for them."
"Sounds like we helped in some way. I'm glad." Haider says.
"It was thanks to you and your family that I was able to build this place anyway. The deposit your father gave to me was. Let's just say a lot of money."
