"YOU!! YOU KILLED MY PARENTS!" Jericho yelled. she couldn't physically see the demon and could only yell her anger to the sky. now understanding what was happening, she could feel nothing but dispare at knowing she was no longer a human being. she was taught by her father what happens to people possessed by demons. Her father had fought with people possessed by demons, sometimes alongside and sometimes against. he told her they were all very strong and looked a lot like whatever demon possessed them, if a wolf demon possessed a human, they would look like a bipedal wolf or a slime demon would make the person they possessed have a molten appearance. she quickly felt around her body looking for something different and found her brand new horns.
"What did you do to me?" Jericho asked.
"W-what!?" Jericho, despite her rage, couldn't help but be flabbergasted. What random parent killer just claims the orphaned child as their child.
"NO! you are not my mother, demon, you killed her!"
Jericho was horrified. no longer was she what was made between the loving union of her parents, but instead the progeny of some random but powerful demon. It made her maddeningly sick, her stomach turned, and she might have hunched over right then and there if she had eaten last night before everyone she knew in the world died in a flame.
Her anger extinguished now by an unbearable sadness, she simply collapsed onto the chared floor, staining her simple white shirt with ash. She felt dead inside and just laid there and silently cried, mourning the loss of both her parents and her humanity, and to top ot all off, she was starving as well.
"How would any of that make me happy? I can't see my parents anymore. I can't laugh with them anymore, all because of you, vile demon!"
"No."
<*sigh* such a rebellious child. fine, we'll do it this
way, we are getting up to find food.>
all of a sudden out of Jericho's control, she got up and started walking around. This complete loss of control scared Jericho greatly. to be a passenger in her own body. while she hated this demon, she also hated this feeling. her parents both being warriors taught her at a young age to never give in and that killing herself was the cowards way, so her only options were to go along with the demon so that she may control her actions.
"Fine, please just stop this, I'll look for food."
Jericho didn't know how the demon knew her name, but it startled her to think the demon could read her mind.
...
just so you know. if you are reading this, don't expect consistent chapters. this is honestly just a thing I'm doing because it intrested me. had an idea for a story and started, so it's mostly just gonna be when I feel inspired that im gonna make a chapter. though I do want to actually make a story out of this, don't get me wrong. I just need time to think of how this story will work.
