Chapter 471 - The New Order 1

"Zz... Airon, do you need help?"

Cindy's voice came from the intercom, but Airon, who understood her intentions, disagreed.

"Zz... No, your group's training is not yet complete, so it's very dangerous. We agreed that your group would be in charge of clearing walkers and arresting those who surrendered. Don't forget to pay special attention to people in tattered clothes. They must be survivors who were captured by these people. Remember to be more lenient with them; they are not enemies."

"Zz... But..."

"Zz... Listen, follow the order. There are no 'buts' involved!"

"Zz... Understood!"

Obviously, Cindy is still thinking about Simon and the remaining surviving saviors. After all, the hatred for their losses is not something that can be easily forgotten.

But now is not a good time for her to seek revenge, so Airon firmly rejected her.

Soon, two Humvees followed the armored vehicles in which Simon and his people were fleeing.

...

Simon had already taken advantage of the chaos to enter a building on the other side of the city when he collided head-on with someone.

"Damn it!"

"Oops."

The other person cried out in pain as Simon's tall body collided directly with theirs, and then his nose hit a hard object, causing a burst of pain in his nose.

"Boss! Are you okay? What's happening outside?"

Seeing Simon holding his nose and remaining silent for a long time, the man rushed forward in panic to check on him and saw Simon in tears.

"This, this..."

He suddenly stuttered and was stunned.

Is the boss crying?

Are all our people dead?

Or is the boss shedding tears for all their losses?

At this moment, many thoughts crossed the mind of the man who collided with Simon, but in the next second...

Boom!

A strong slap knocked the man to the ground, and then the sound of Simon's curse entered his ears.

"You damn bastard! How dare you hit me, you bastard?"

The man covered his face, cautiously and fearfully got up, then stepped aside, muttering what he had to say: "Are we under attack?"

Simon looked bitterly at the man he initially thought had escaped, then ignored him and entered the room, scolding the man called Samuel for his idiocy.

He quickly opened the door to the back room, and inside was a room resembling a factory, about five meters high, where a powerful car was quietly parked.

From the outside, it looked like a modified armored vehicle, but compared to ordinary armored vehicles, this vehicle had many weapons installed on its body, and a man was instructing others to load supplies into the armored vehicle.

"Hurry up! Didn't you hear the explosion? If we take any longer, we'll be in big trouble when the boss arrives."

Before the man finished speaking, he saw Simon rushing in with Samuel and hurriedly met him.

"Not yet? Those guys have already entered the base. Now I want you to start the damn car immediately!"

"It will be ready soon, sir!"

Samuel's head was sweating a bit, and he looked at Simon with some doubt. The blood and flesh on this man's face made him tremble in fear.

"Are you okay? What's going on?"

Simon was very irritable at that moment. He ignored Samuel and went straight to the man who was still refueling the armored vehicle and kicked him.

"Hurry up and drive! It won't make a damn difference if it has fuel or not!"

The person who was kicked didn't dare to say anything else. He got up and quickly opened the door of the car, and a group of people swiftly got into the vehicle.

As soon as he got into the car, Simon opened a wooden box in the back, and a long cylindrical metal object lay silently inside - a rocket launcher. There were also some missiles next to the bazooka.

A fierce smile finally appeared on Simon's face, and with his bloodied appearance, everyone around him couldn't help but look away for a moment.

"These bastards, I want to kill them all!"

...

Three vehicles sped through the main street of the city, and within half a minute, they arrived at the house where Simon was hiding. Two armored vehicles aimed their weapons at the door, and the RV passed slowly behind the armored vehicle.

"Simon, don't put up unnecessary resistance. Do you think this group with no military experience can stop us?"

The RV's megaphone was designed so that people inside could communicate with the outside, and the sound was very clear amidst the occasional gunfire.

The door of the house in front of the convoy was securely closed, and Airon waited for a while without any movement inside.

Did he escape?

Despite some doubts, Airon took the radio and ordered, "Fire!"

Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!

The soldiers in the armored vehicle received the order, and they all started firing at the walls. The walls of the houses in front of them were riddled with bullet holes. The wooden walls couldn't withstand such powerful firepower, and the tightly closed doors and windows were being cleared by the high-caliber weapons. Glass fragments, sawdust, and large explosions floated and continuously burst out in the direction of those houses.

The front view of Airon's convoy began to blur, and the wall finally couldn't stand and collapsed inward.

That's when the gunfire stopped.

A gust of wind blew, sweeping the scattered dust to one side, and people gradually saw the unfolding situation in front of them.

Behind the fragments of the ruined house, there was a roll-up metal shutter door. At this moment, the door was densely filled with bullet holes, and darkness could be seen through the bullet holes.

Creak!

Suddenly, a beam of light shot out from those bullet holes, followed by a roar.

Crack, boom!

A black steel figure burst out of the room at high speed through the roll-up door, its exaggerated shape surprised the soldiers in Airon's armored vehicle.

Is this an armored car?

This question crossed the minds of several people. Then they reacted and pulled the trigger again, dense bullets instantly covered this unknown armored vehicle.

After a while of clattering, the exaggerated armored vehicle rushed into the street at high speed with the intention to escape.

The next moment, everyone saw the complete appearance of this large vehicle and all the installed weapons, all of which were pointing forward due to their position.

Therefore, within seconds, the sound of gunfire echoed once again, but this time it was Airon and the others who received the shrapnel.

The RV was in perfect condition, as were the military Humvees, but some armored cars quickly received dents in their metal.

At this moment, Airon saw a small open window in a part of the black armored vehicle, and a sinister premonition came to his mind. He quickly pressed the call button and shouted.

"Be careful! Stop pursuing and keep your distance!"

However, his warning was still a step too late—a round barrel appeared in the window!

"A grenade launcher!"

Boom!

A rocket whistled out and directly hit the front armored vehicle, followed by a loud noise, a burst of flames, and thick smoke rising from the armored vehicle, which immediately came to a halt.

Airon nervously looked ahead, seeing thick smoke rise, revealing the armored vehicle underneath, and a large fiery red hole appeared in the armor of the armored vehicle.

Airon's pupils contracted—apparently, there were no casualties!

"Prepare armor-piercing rounds, notify the helicopters to quickly eliminate the enemy bases, and gather at our location!"
