"What!"
Airon opened his eyes in a daze and the first thing he saw was an unfamiliar ceiling.
Looking to his left and right, he realized he was in a room lying in an unfamiliar bed.
Recalling the incident in his mind, Airon remembered the moment before he lost consciousness... It seemed he had walked into a trap set by the people Glenn had located for him.
Thinking about that trap that almost took his life, he just felt strange. Fortunately, he reacted quite well at that time, otherwise he would really be dead now.
"Oh..."
Feeling the dryness of his throat, Airon unconsciously wanted to sit up, but soon discovered that his right hand and right leg were wrapped in bandages.
Moving his body a bit to sit up, he looked at his injured right leg, thinking that he had been seriously injured twice in just half a year, he couldn't help but smile ironically.
"Is anyone there?"
Taking a sip from the glass of water that had been prepared on his left, Airon began to call out softly to whoever could hear him towards the door, but no one else responded for a long time.
As he turned his head and looked out the window, he realized it was raining quite heavily, and the windows were constantly shaking due to the howling wind.
Reaching out to lift the quilt, Airon took the crutches placed next to him, slowly got up from the bed, then picked up his jacket from the hanger and put it on, then limped out of the room and walked outside.
He didn't know if it was his own illusion, but he felt that he woke up this time, and his body was much stronger than before, but he didn't think too much about it, just focused on relaxing the muscles of his body and waiting for them to recover, and with the walk his wounds began to warm up.
The living room was empty. When Airon went down the stairs, he saw a deserted scene.
He wasn't surprised by this either, after all, since Alicia went to the Commonwealth as an undercover agent, he has always been alone, and if there was someone unfamiliar in a place where he was alone now, some serious things would happen.
"Wow! Wow!"
At this moment, a small dog that had been resting in the corner of the room perked up its ears and stood up upon seeing a person walking with crutches, it stood alert and ran towards him.
"Hey, aren't you Daryl's dog? Why are you here?"
Seeing an unfamiliar dog, Airon sat on the sofa, and then began to pet the dog's head and said, "Hey, you... Isn't Daryl thinking about eating you?"
"Wow!"
As if understanding what Airon said, the dog barked at him angrily, and then turned around in circles, saying that it was completely fine, and then jumped on the sofa while placing its head on Airon's injured leg.
"Well, if you're thinking of changing owners, you can just tell me by biting your owner, I assure you you'll eat better than that old hairy one."
Airon chuckled, stretched out his hand to stroke the dog's body back and forth, leaned his head on the sofa and said, "I didn't expect this operation to almost cost me my life. It seems I should be more careful. Who would have thought that something like a person chasing would cause so many deaths and on top of that I would encounter two damn tigers?"
Speaking of this, the words suddenly stopped because she realized that tigers only gather during mating season.
It may not have been long since they had tiger cubs, and the memory of a tiger cub formed gradually in her mind.
"Will there be cubs in that place?"
Otherwise, why would the male tiger hunt so many people and kill indiscriminately? The female tiger is obviously not pregnant, and it is likely that she has given birth.
Thinking about the presence of tiger cubs somewhere in the forest, Airon suddenly became interested.
Not that these tiger cubs pose a threat, but without their mothers bringing them fresh meat and their own inability to hunt, it is highly likely that these cubs will starve to death.
"Maybe... we can raise them in captivity first?"
At this point, she remembered Ezekiel, who had not spoken of Shiva again, which caused Airon a lot of uncertainty. However, out of respect, she held back her doubts.

Just as Airon was thinking, the door to the house opened from the outside.
The cold wind and rain entered the room, and a figure covered in a raincoat entered.
After the figure entered the room, she quickly turned around and pushed the door closed, after taking off her hat, she let out a long sigh of relief.
Tara? Airon thought to himself.
Tara took off her raincoat, hung it and other things on the hanger next to her, picked up the piece of meat from the floor that she had just left when she entered, and was about to walk to the kitchen.
Originally, she was checking the bodies of some injured people in a temporary building, but the rain suddenly came and seemed unstoppable, which made everyone rush to hide in the house.
But thinking about Airon's unconsciousness, Tara had to return to observe his condition since that was her job.
But when she turned around, she discovered that there was a figure sitting on the sofa that should have been empty, it was Airon who was unconscious.
"You?!"
Seeing that familiar face, the things in Tara's hands fell to the ground, her eyes widened in surprise, and she quickly asked, "How are you now? Are you completely awake?"
As she said that, her hands were already touching Airon's body, hoping to check his wound.
"I'm fine, I'm okay."
He tightly squeezed Tara's cold hands, gesturing for her to sit down and said, "What are you doing in such a dangerous place? I told you that you didn't have to come to such tough places..."
"I'm fine, I learned a lot about emergency wound care, there aren't many doctors so any help is needed."
As if thinking of something, Tara quickly stood up and said, "Are you hungry? I'll make you something to eat."
After finishing speaking, she took the things she brought and walked towards the kitchen.
At that moment, Airon regained consciousness and quickly turned his head and asked, "Did you just say I haven't woken up... What do you mean?"
"When Tommy brought you back that day, you were in a coma and two days have passed..."
Skillfully playing with things in the kitchen, Tara took the knife to prepare the ingredients as she responded. Then suddenly, she lifted the kitchen knife in her hand, gave Airon a cruel look, and warned, "I must say that Tarzan was able to defeat a leopard, but a tiger is much more dangerous. How dare you fight against two tigers? If you continue like this, we will soon be left without a leader!"
"It's not that bad. We were ambushed, so it was difficult to react to the enemy."
Airon thought his situation was unfortunate, touched his chin, and murmured, "I didn't expect... Actually, I lay in bed for two whole days..."
Unconsciously, he placed his hand on his abdomen. For some reason, he always felt that something had changed in his body, but after careful inspection, he found that he was not the same as before, except that his body was a bit more lively.
"It's strange... I think too much..."
Shaking his head to stop thinking about these strange things, Airon asked, "I've been in a coma for the past few days. Please tell me what happened during these days."
"Wow, that's why you're the leader..."
Tara without words, but still said, "When Tommy returned, he told us that the hunters who were searching were eliminated and others were captured. However, we also lost many people who had no combat experience. Daryl thought of just hunting, so the weapons and men in his group were not the best."
"So... are there any other discoveries in the forest?"
