Chapter 351 - The Crack in the Wall (5)

"ROAR!!!"

This time the giant infected started running towards Airon, its speed was much faster than normal walkers but not as fast as speeders.

By this time Airon had raised the barrel of his gun, taking the initiative he started firing again and again. First at the skinny knee of that infected, which unlike his gigantic right arm, was not so thick that it could water down a great deal of damage.

So then shot after shot, Airon began to close in with the edge of his knife raised towards his chin.

Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang Bang!

After shooting at his enemy's head again, Airon knew this was his chance and ignoring the pain in his body he lunged at that giant and the edge of his knife pierced the infected neck again and again.

After combining the attacks and knowing that this giant infected could not be killed with a shot in the head, Airon decided that the best and safest way was to completely tear off the head of his enemy.

As for how to deal with the consequences, Airon didn't really know but what he was sure of was to eliminate his enemy.

The two had already come within a distance of two meters and Airon who had been firing continuously heard the 'click' of his pistol giving him to understand that he had run out of ammunition.

Although there was a life and death battle, Airon did not want to involve anyone else and test how strong he had become. If this was the right way forward or if right now he was completely wrong.

If right now he didn't have the advantage of having wounded his enemy in his strongest arm that he had to be careful of, right now he would be running away and not attacking. But this is his only option for now.

This is a closed place, and before he could call for help or before George threw the hook he would possibly die at the hands of this giant infected. So at least in principle it was paramount to rely only on his strength and nothing else.

Auge!

Airon attacked head-on confined to his advantages, relying on the edge of his knife and the speed in which he stabbed his enemy's neck. Again and again without stopping, blood began to spurt out and even if that infected grabbed him with its huge hand, Airon trusted as that hand had no claw.

Roar!!!

The constant stabs on that infected appeared to make him desperate as Airon's strength makes it difficult for him to bring his body close to his mouth. And at the moment when Airon felt his hands going numb, the infected big hand grabbed his body and threw him to the distance.

Auge!

Airon knew he was fighting in an aggressive manner, but this was the only way he could defeat the enemy in a short time. He could rely on nothing more than that, his way of eliminating this infected.

Lying on the ground, Airon watched in a blur as that huge infected staggered from side to side while the blood from its neck spurted out. He had done a lot of damage to the enemy, so now he was confident that he was about to win.

But now his body was not in good condition, those hard and heavy blows had caused him several difficulties to keep moving freely.

Once he stood up, he looked at the long glass of the windows and after some hesitation he broke all the panes. He walked to the window and stood with his back to it, then picked up the radio and reported to George, "Zz.... George, don't shoot the hook yet..."

"Zz... Chief, what's going on?"

George was very confused, he had heard all the commotion from the building Airon was in. If he didn't hear back from his boss right now, George was sure he would send all the soldiers outside to clear the building.

At first he thought there were just a few more walkers in that building, but then hearing Airon's tired voice he knew things were not as simple as he thought. Making a decision, he looked at Airon who was standing with his back to the windows silently.

"Zz... I will await your orders, sir!"

"Zz... Very well..."

Airon didn't feel like talking right now, he was completely concerted on his enemy who seemed to have gone into a state of madness.

Roar!

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

Heavy footsteps echoed in the office room, the footsteps of that giant infectee were crackling under his enormous weight. His eyes were staring at Airon with an enormous desire to kill, right now the only thing he was focused on was that Airon didn't escape.

Running at high speed, he headed towards where Airon was.

"Yes, come to me!"

Airon smiled coldly, taking a gun in his hand and aiming it at him, and after pulling the trigger, the roar of the gun was heard, and countless projectiles were directed towards that giant infected for the sole purpose of provoking it.

Once Airon knew that that giant infected had entered the madness, he held a wire that was fixed to the ground and once he knew the resistance of that wire he released his gun.

If this went well, he would kill that giant infectee with much more intelligence and ease considering his current state.

Airon took a deep breath and closed his eyes, listening to the footsteps of his enemy and visualizing his surroundings. He knew what he was about to do, so once he took the initiative to move, feeling the air on his back facing the outside of the building at a chilling height, he let his body fall backwards.

Faced with this abnormality the giant infected had no idea what Airon was trying to do, so with an instinctive attack reaction, he followed Airon and without knowing what would happen next he jumped out of the window.

Roaring!

Airon, who was holding on tightly to the wire, watched as the giant infected had fallen into his trap, falling to a height of more than twenty meters. For any living being regardless of size, certain death would await them.

"Shit!"

Airon, who was staggering from side to side due to the wire, put his hand on the ground of the floor he had jumped from and climbed upwards with difficulty. This way was the best he could think of thinking of his situation, so now it only remained for the outside team to analyze whether the enemy was completely dead.

...

Moments before Airon tricked the giant infected, the group in the other building had heard those roars so loud that they weren't even from a beast or walker they know.

"I'm sure that roar is not normal, do we keep waiting for Airon to die or do we go out now and help him?" Daryl was losing patience, what do orders matter if in the end they lead to your death?

Rick agreed, it didn't matter what Airon wanted, in the end all that mattered was making sure no one got hurt or died.

"I agree, we'll wait a few more minutes." George knew this wasn't normal, but then he looked at Abraham who was motionless looking towards the other building and immediately fixed his gaze in the same direction.

In the distance, Airon had broken the glass of a long window and then turned his back towards the cliff as if he was running away from something.

"What are you doing?"

"Zz... George, don't shoot the hook yet..."

"Zz... Boss, what's going on?"

George waited silently for her response, but when Airon didn't want to say much more about the situation. He waited, and then saw it with his own eyes, an infected giant.

A monster over two meters tall and a gigantic body falling towards the cliff. Everyone froze, not knowing if what they had just seen was real or not.

Roar!

Does that thing exist?

How are they supposed to get out alive if they face a monster like that?

"Zz... Confirm death, shoot if necessary and after taking some pictures burn its corpse."

Airon's voice was heard immediately, and it was then that everyone reacted. Both the ground soldiers and the people in the buildings saw where the giant had fallen and they all looked at Airon with fear.

How could he be in one piece after facing something like that?
