Chapter 244 - Minutes (3)

Inside the mall.

Sneaking through the wall of the shelter, Airon split the group in two and Sam was in charge of dealing with the people along the wall with the support of the snipers while Airon was in charge of stealthily entering the mall and finding Teddy.

Airon's objective was clear, to try to find the key to the submarine more easily before the helicopters arrived and initiated an all out attack on the place. After his advance was not yet discovered, Airon continued to lead a squad of six more people into the mall.

The area of the entire inside of the mall is much larger than expected, and it requires a lot of people and effort just to make this place work, but this also caused the personnel who were alerted by Airon's message to be more dispersed in the defenses outside than inside.

By the time they were discovered, everyone would think that his people on the walls were the ones who breached the security of this shelter and by then the main attack would begin.

This time, Airon chose the only tall structure on one side of the mall, guarded by two annoying guards who could see him, forming an important point of surveillance and with his elimination they would get out of a lot of trouble thus having a pretty good shooting point that would be taken by one of his people.

If you want to continue sneaking and killing in the mall, the surroundings of these watchtowers should be cleared while eliminating the guard posts inside the mall as soon as possible.

The helicopters were a considerable distance away, five minutes was a very funny metaphor considering they carry a very heavy and important load.

Thinking about this, Airon grabbed the radio and climbed the stairs to the top of the watchtower, as he whispered, "Sam, we need to eliminate and take out the watchtowers that will prevent us from attacking, get rid of everyone."

"Zz... I see."

But the sound of bones breaking first came from the intercom, and Sam's voice came from inside.

Airon raised his eyebrows and didn't care, during the communication with Sam, he had unknowingly reached the corridor below the top floor.

Ta... ta... ta... ta...

Hearing the sound of footsteps from above, Airon silently calculated and discovered that the two people above crossed and exchanged positions every ten seconds, which obviously looked different from the two outside. The guard must be professional, and the time remaining for him to attack is extremely limited.

Most importantly, once he takes the lead, as long as he handles it incorrectly, he will be easily caught by the guards in the other two watchtowers.

Fortunately, due to the location away from the inhabited area of the mall, the far half of one of the watchtowers cannot be seen clearly, so your main attention should only be on the guards in the other watchtower.

"Forward!"

Looking at the opening above his head, Airon signaled and two soldiers behind him pulled some ropes from behind him, adjusted his body and waited for the opportunity to climb up the stairs.

Ta... ta... ta... ta...

Ten seconds passed in an instant, and when the two guards above crossed their backs, Airon stepped forward quickly down the stairs, and one of the soldiers climbed up the stairs.

The two guards suddenly heard the sound of stomping behind them, and thought it was a comrade approaching, the reaction was not so intense, they simply turned their heads unconsciously.

But at the moment they turned their heads at the same time, two black figures poked their heads out and at the same time at that moment from behind them two beings of both lengths grabbed their heads and pulled hard.

CRACK! CRACK!

The necks of the guard duo were easily broken, without giving them enough time to react.

Just a second after the two guards were killed, the rope in the soldiers' hands tightened on the railing of the stairs to have a quick escape route.

After eliminating the guards, Airon signaled one of the soldiers to position himself with his rifle in this position and take over to support from another angle as Sam and his people advanced.

Leaving two soldiers at this important shooting point, Airon continued walking through the mall that was very uninhabited of people, there was almost no one around. Just as he was about to eliminate another guard, but from an outside watchtower a guard had appeared just in his direction, so he did not continue advancing and waited.

Perhaps it was because the distance was so far away or they were more nervous of an outside attack. The guards in the watchtower on the opposite side didn't notice anything unusual, as they were nervous that an outside attack would happen at any moment.

"Eh... I almost pissed myself." Muttered one soldier with a wry smile.

Bang!

But at that moment, Airon who was fixated on the guard in front of him opened fire with his silenced weapon upon seeing that the guard in the tower had looked away. After that, a door suddenly opened in front of them and two more people came out while talking, but by then two soldiers behind Airon stepped forward and killed them with a knife.

"This corridor is clear, we must now search the main area of this mall before we were discovered, we have minutes left." Airon said without ordering his people to prevent these walkers from becoming the future.

At the same time.

In an outside tower outside the mall where Airon was, Airon eliminated some important shooting points.

With some effort and to expose himself to danger, Sam strangled another cult member to the ground, looked at the other guards being drawn to the sound and signaled his people to disperse.

After standing in the darkness of the tower, with a knife in his hand he slit the throat of a guard while the other soldiers did the same.

"Hoo... hoo..."

After dealing with everything, Sam reached out to touch the sweat on his forehead and muttered, "Is it because I'm getting old or from being so exposed to danger?"

Then he looked up at the towering watchtower overhead, sighed again, stood up and trotted down the long stairs.

Unlike the shooting ports where Airon was, the watchtower guards are on a platform on the top floor, the range is very wide and it is easier to kill them.

But the shortcomings are also more obvious, because it is too wide and easy to be noticed by the other two watchtowers.

"Sam, are you there yet?"

Just as Sam was observing the situation of the two guards outside through the door, taking a short break and thinking about how to resolve it, Airon's voice came from the intercom.

Quickly moving his body against the wall, Sam picked up the radio and answered, "I'm outside a guard tower. The general position here is too wide, so I can't make it."

"Don't worry, the helicopters are on their way and otherwise we've taken out the firing points aimed at those watchtowers."

On the other end of the radio, Airon told him their situation and continued, "We'll act with full power in a few minutes, by then our people will hit this whole place."

"Okay, got it."

Putting the radio away, Sam looked back at the two guards outside the door and raised his hand to look at the watch in his hand.

He had previously told his squad to stand by for a moment, as if anything went wrong they needed to be ready to get out of this place.

At this moment, the two guards at the top of the watchtower were face to face after crossing, and neither of them immediately noticed the figure rushing out from behind the door.

Sam lowered his figure to a minimum, and silently approached the nearest guard, strangling him almost unconsciously.

It's just that there was a little accident in this familiar movement today. The guard who was strangled and tied up on the ground actually grabbed the broken sand on the ground and threw it towards the faces of the people behind.

The fine sand and gravel hit him head on, and Sam was very lucky to notice it beforehand, and he closed his eyes first, but the movement of his hand was more forceful, breaking the guard's neck in short order.

But the abnormal movement here was still heard by the guards behind, and they turned and looked back.

But before he could see clearly what was happening there, a knife flew out, striking one of the guards in the forehead first.

"Damn it!"

His eyes suddenly darkened. The gun in his hand dropped, unconsciously and he covered his face, his body recoiled two steps and the guard cursed in pain, "What a bastard...!"

But before he could finish his sentence, Sam kicked the man, then lifted his foot and stomped on the opponent's head, completely finishing off the guard.

"Hoo... hoo..."

After dealing with the two guards, Sam heard a sound of the wind breaking and a bullet tore through the open space outside the watchtower and a guard fell to the ground from the outside.

Now, they have been discovered by the watchful people in this place.

"Zz... Sir, one minute to arrive and drop the package."

"Well gentlemen, the time has come."
