Chapter 186 - The Arrival

Alexandria Community.

"Move all vehicles and clear the area, I want this space ready to receive my people without much trouble!"

In the darkness of the night, all the people in Alexandria were moving around with big things in their hands. Since Airon's group had arrived, they had prepared a special place inside the community so that the helicopter containers could be placed inside the shelter.

Outside the community, all the Humvees with machine guns and several soldiers were in front of an open space for the helicopters to park.

People in Alexandria were very nervous, not only these people but also those who followed Airon's group recently. No one really knew the power of the S.C.T. the community is that strong, so now they were about to find out if he really told them the truth or not at all for sure.

But their doubts were about to be cleared up just now, it had been a few hours since Airon's group had arrived at the shelter, so now they were all making preparations to make the landing safe.

"Couldn't they have planned the trip in the morning?" Daryl looked at Airon and then at all the lights on inside Alexandria.

Hearing Daryl ask that, Airon suddenly felt he was right so for the moment he said nothing, everyone present looked up at the sky waiting for the helicopters that were about to arrive.

Airon knew that at night no one could see in which direction the helicopters were moving, so it would be beneficial for everyone in this place and a smart thing on their part.

They also heard the sound of helicopters in the distance and saw lights flashing in the sky, so they all felt amazed that they could still see helicopters flying.

The intense lights flashed into the sky and the deafening sound of the helicopters echoed in the surroundings, and the originally quiet people were shocked to see the huge containers.

All the people in charge of receiving the containers and giving the signal moved in unison and slowly each container was successfully dropped off before the helicopters landed outside Alexandria.

"Open the main gate!"

When the main gate opened, numerous soldiers rushed in and began to form up in front of everyone. None of them said a single word, so everyone felt uncomfortable when they saw all that sophisticated equipment.

In a tower inside Alexandria, a group of people were watching the S.C.T. community soldiers in silence, Aiden listened to his brother's words and then said, "These people were not lying, maybe Atlanta is safe if they can move in so many helicopters at once."

"But I don't get it, why are there so many helicopters and right now at night?" Spencer didn't understand this point either, what are these people really looking for in their community?

"They could lead us to the city if it was really taken, so their purpose in this place is a completely different one."

Aiden looked at his brother and then slowly walked down the tower to look at these people who had just arrived in Alexandria, he had to see what their next moves were so it was important to watch closely.

He knew it was not the time to confront these people or even doubt their power, but he could not help but distrust Airon and his irrational ideas. Today it is impossible for anyone to really care about the state of other people let alone the soldiers who were the ones who abandoned them in this place.

...

"They definitely know a lot more about what's going on in the world than we do..." Deanna stood next to her husband, closed her eyes and reflected before saying, "I think it was a good idea to trust that man, his people are definitely prepared for the future."

"From what I heard they managed to survive and several military groups banded together to slowly take back what we have lost, now it seems they are not as bad off as we thought." Deanna's husband nodded as he heard those words.

It was safe to say that now everyone in Alexandria was in chaos, many of those who had joined the training were in awe of what they were seeing.

Since most of the soldiers were forming up, none could tell exactly how many there were in total but at all times it seemed like hundreds.

Airon, who had walked by Daryl, had seen these new Arm-3J combat suits, had heard of this sophisticated piece of equipment, and it was accepted that the prototypes were created.

Although these three hundred suits were only the first generation, one could say that they had completely surpassed any suit that could be created today to fight walkers.

"Bang Bang Bang!"

Sudden gunshots shook everyone's bodies, everyone stopped and looked towards where the gunshots were coming from.

Seeing that everyone was looking in that direction, a tall, burly soldier walked towards Airon and made a military salute, "Sir, I am Raul Mendez, I hope you still remember me!"

Airon extended his hand and nodded. This man was the one who had contacted him right after losing communication Alicia Clark, so he definitely remembered him.

"Of course I remember you, it looks like you and your men have finally adapted to the S.C.T. community..." Smiling, Airon introduced the person next to him, "This is Daryl, if I'm ever away and this good man is next to you, you can ask him questions."

Raul looked at Daryl and nodded earnestly, "I'll definitely keep that in mind, nice to meet you Daryl."

Daryl nodded in response, "Same here."

"This is a beautiful place Airon, whenever you go out with your group you find wonders in today's world." At that moment, a voice very familiar to Daryl and Airon was heard at the entrance to Alexandria

"Morgan, what are you doing here?" Airon asked in surprise, he didn't know why this man had come all the way to this place if there was no need to.

Hearing this, Airon nodded and then out of the corner of his eye he could see a woman he never thought they would see in some time. Her name should be Tara, he still remembered how nice yet kind she could be.

"From your outfit, I have to assume that you are the one to teach all those people, right?"

When Tara saw the leader of the shelter that took in all of her and Alexandria's group, she was a bit surprised to see that calm expression. "I... I belonged to the Governor's shelter, but I managed to escape with some people before they attacked your shelter."

"When I arrived at the prison I thought the Governor was the leader, but I didn't imagine that you would have taken in most of the inhabitants of my old shelter even if some of them attacked you. I just want to say, thank you..."

Tara's expression was somewhat strained, she didn't have many good words to say, she just shared how grateful she was for joining Airon's group.

On the other hand, Airon was surprised how somehow people who shouldn't have made it here did, so he said, "Well, since you're here and you were good enough to have that scarf on your shoulder, I must say you have skills."

"Of course..." Tara smiled slightly and then extended her fist towards Airon.

Seeing this, Airon extended his fist and smiled as he signaled Nara to come closer. There were things to do, so today would be a long night.

"Sir, our people are waiting for you." Raul looked at Airon and then gestured to the finely formed soldiers.

"I'll take over..."

As Airon stood in front of these three hundred soldiers, he felt a sense of security and pride in all that he had accomplished. So he immediately said, "Look at what you have become, mighty soldiers of the S.C.T. community."
