Chapter 147 - The station (6)

In the dimly lit room, only a small window in the far corner was slightly open, and sunlight penetrated through the small space, illuminating a small area nearby.

The smooth gray floor tiles were covered in large swaths of blood, and the rest of the walls and elsewhere were also covered in mottled blood.

On the recliner inside lay the corpse of a woman, her limbs had been cut off and a long cut had been made with a sharp knife in the middle of her chest and abdomen.

There was a dark purple strangulation mark on the neck of the woman, who had obviously been strangled to death. Those wide eyes were full of disbelief, and even she herself could not believe that she would die like that while on her forehead there was a W that was possibly carved with a knife.

Next to the clothes on the floor are dismantled tables and chairs, many scattered books and a bonfire where only burnt charcoal remained.

On both sides of the bonfire, there are two stands, on which are roasted "body parts" that have been cut into sections, and a pile of "white human objects" that were fragmented and are scattered next to them.

At the scene in front of him, no matter how strong Airon's psychological quality was, he could not help but be stunned. The wolves were actually now "eating" "people"!

After recovering from the horror, he resisted the urge to vomit, looked away from the horrific scene in the room of the building and looked again at the two male corpses in the doorway.

He hadn't noticed that the faces of the two corpses were covered in blood at the moment, but when Airon took a closer look, he discovered that their heads were all pierced with already dried blood, the characteristic W on their foreheads made his fury explode.

Airon had to check the face of each of these people and find out if one was familiar to him, even though he had taken over many members of the wolves right now, he had to find out if things hadn't changed.

As he slowly walked towards the corpses, Airon sighed with a very strange feeling and right now he wanted to do nothing else but chase the wolves to the ends of the earth. However, he knew better than anyone that he couldn't do that due to the fact that it would be a pointless pursuit right now.

For now what consoled him was that they wiped out a large number of people and these shouldn't cause much trouble until they got their original numbers back.

Crouching down to a corpse, he took a picture of the hands of one of these people and shone the flashlight on it, the faces were unfamiliar and the only thing on the body of that corpse was a pistol without ammunition.

Then Airon noticed that there seemed to be something painted on the wall behind them. He slowly raised the flashlight to illuminate the two walls, and on the first wall was a sentence written: Wolves Not Far!

Turning off the flashlight, remembering the contents of the room, combined with the note he received on the second floor, he knew what happened inside without guessing.

This place was nothing more than a small shelter where these people were staying while trying to survive, the wolves should have found this room with three people inside, they killed all three and then marked them, when they had finished with their work they set out to eat and just as they finished they should have heard the sound of the engines of their convoy.

Although they did not imagine the strength of their convoy to be much, they set out to shoot uncontrollably, wounding Ravi. I could feel the sense of guilt and depression in this room, after all, the people who had originally been in this place were just trying to survive.

Without hesitation the wolves chose to murder these people and proudly marked their motto on the wall which made it so that they would never be forgiven and whenever he encountered one of their members, Airon was sure to end their life without wondering what they had done before.

Airon put away the lantern, covered the corpses with a blanket and regretted not having more time to do something else.

Then he walked to the door of this building, closed the two open glass doors and, at the same time, lifted the lock hanging on the door and closed it. It is better not to let other people see the scene inside this room.

"Are you okay?" Airon turned to Daryl and looked at him silently.

"Yeah, let's get out of this place." Daryl was waiting for Airon to get out of this place as soon as possible. He had just experienced first hand how horrible wolves could be, so now he couldn't expect anything worse than this.

....

In the main lobby.

When Airon returned to the department store, Jon was reaching out to say something over the radio, and then the modified RV slowly appeared before his view.

"Airon!"

Jon, who was leading the convoy into the parking lot outside this building, heard the sounds coming out of the door and watched Daryl along with Airon walk to the outside.

But then, as if thinking of a bad memory, the face that had suddenly recovered turned a little ugly again.

Seeing his appearance, Airon shook his head helplessly, took a step forward and patted Jon's shoulder, and said with a serene look, "Don't think too much, this kind of situation may not come up often in the future, just slowly get used to it."

"I understand, I've seen hell itself but that was something I couldn't imagine!"

Nodding awkwardly, Jon shook his head, not allowing himself to think too much, he turned around and continued to lead the convoy towards the outskirts.

After advising Jon, Airon turned his gaze towards the modified RV, three large buses and two vans headed in their direction, he reached out to look at the time on his watch and then said, "Jon, see to it that everyone is waiting and positioned ready to leave at a moment's notice, we must load the resources those people left behind at this location."

Daryl didn't hesitate and started walking towards the wolves vehicles and opened the trunk, there were weapons and clothing, water medicine and canned food that they were quite possibly taking care of and not using if not necessary.

"Did you guys find anything important in this place?" Glenn approached Daryl and the others with a slight smile.

"There wasn't much, it wasn't a big deal and apparently this place isn't their safe haven." Airon said lightly.

Glenn looked confused, so he asked directly, "If this isn't their shelter, would it be other people's? It's pretty crazy for those guys to draw a W on their forehead, how sick they should be to do that."

"Boom!"

Daryl slammed the door shut and looked at Glenn with a cold expression, this guy tends to ask delicate questions at inappropriate times.

"Did I say something wrong?" Glenn watched Daryl walk past him and was more confused than he was.

"They were cannibals, this place belonged to other people and I think you can imagine what we found inside." Airon walked up to Glenn and looked at him with a complicated expression.

"They eat people?" Glenn's exaggerated shout froze Airon who was carrying some important resources and caught the attention of everyone who had also come down to help.
