When Karen left, Airon looked at everyone and after preparing what he was about to say, he remarked, "I know what you are thinking, too many risks right? I wouldn't mind going right now to Woodbury and wipe out all our enemies, I can do it and that would be quick, but doing it means being someone just like that Governor and believe me I want to forge a path where everyone will be able to join in."
Airon, who stood up, looked at everyone and smiled coldly, "I don't like to make mistakes, so we will kill all our enemies when they are locked up, no one will have a chance to escape and then we can solve our enemies quickly."
Both Daryl as well as Rick looked at Airon and nodded as they understood and comprehended how they should act. It would be easy for this place to send two helicopters and five tanks to eliminate the enemies, but what result besides death would that bring?
There is no doubt that Airon's plan and his way of solving problems is very hard to lose out, since they met him he always deals with his enemies mercilessly and for those who can still pull themselves together as Merle did they will get a second chance.
"I don't have a problem mate, tomorrow we'll kill all those bastards." Shane said as he stood up and walked to his room.
"Me and Marco will be ready, as planned Elias will handle the sniper group, I'll be in the south and Marco will cover us in the north, we'll do a flat mop up." Sam, understanding the plan, got up and left.
"I still think you take a lot of trouble trying to save other people, someday you'll understand that you won't be able to save them all." Merle left with a cynical smile, apparently tomorrow the prison would be very busy.
Airon remained silent and watched everyone as they retreated to his room, when he was left alone, he smiled slightly and then shook his head. He was determined to kill all his enemies, but he didn't want to do it to those who were not to blame.
The shelter in Atlanta was safe and there was a lot of military, at that time he was in charge of training a group of seventy people and taught them how to deal with walkers, if an outbreak of internal infection arose and also the most efficient way to survive a horde of walkers.
On a blackboard, Airon had a map with different points of the entire country, and near the border with Mexico there was a question mark and next to it the name of Alicia, since in that conversation with her he had told her that he was in a military base, but the soldiers were not good and their future was unknown.
"If I have time, I will definitely rescue you..."
No one knows the true terror of a war and Airon would take it upon himself to play with his prey, he would personally finish off the Governor and it was at that moment that he would demonstrate the outcome of his plans.
...
At this moment, the Governor is sitting in a moving car. Behind his car are several vans with various modifications. Some had steel plates that were welded to the side and front of the cars, in each van were people heavily armed and their destination was prison.
Early in the morning, he received a message from Karen again, saying that the people in the prison had sent a team of more than a dozen soldiers, and it all seemed that they were going to the city in search of resources. In other words, the other party originally only had a combat team of more than twenty people so half had left.
The governor who heard the news was extremely excited! He got up and began to prepare his people to get ready for the attack. After rallying his people, he managed to gather a little over seventy-five people. The great advantage in numbers made the Governor very confident, and he wanted to take advantage of the enemy's determined number of people to attack him and occupy his base in one attack.
At the thought of this, a cruel smile appeared at the corner of the Governor's mouth, and even the driver beside him secretly swallowed saliva unnaturally.
For this attack operation, the Governor prepared many things, including two ladders more than ten meters long, he prepared the vehicles that were modified with license plates and that their ease of exit would be easy.
Of course, he does not care about the lives of these people, but at present they still need to help him occupy the prison, so it is still worth taking care of all his good soldiers!
They continued to advance along the south side of the forest. To make sure that their group would not be discovered, the Governor had sent a person who spent the night in the forest a day before where the attack would have to be made.
As long as there is any trouble, he will know, but there has been no movement so far. This once again confirms the fact that the opponent has no extra soldiers!
Since the group they will attack have no surveillance at that point, the risk of them being spotted is minimal, so this time I opted not to walk, but went straight down the road leading towards the prison, followed by a dozen cars.
The intersection is actually not far from the prison gate, and a dozen cars already arrived at the prison gate after driving for about two minutes!
Arriving at the base grounds, the Governor observed the outside area with wire fences and further inside he did not observe people on the walls, this was magnificent and he felt that fate had gifted him this base.
"Don't stop, push the gas pedal to the metal, ignore the wire gate!"
When the driver noticed the madness in the Governor's eyes, he turned his eyes to the front and stepped on the accelerator. Meanwhile, the Governor took the safety off his gun as he prepared to attack.
If he considered the people, the Governor's group could take the area outside the walls very easily. At the same time, the Governor's car let out a roar and it hit the wire gate.
Due to the powerful impact, the gate now swung back and opened sideways. Without stopping, the Governor's car quickly rushed forward without giving the people a chance to defend themselves, their intention was to break down the door to the inner area, but this was something they could not be allowed to do.
"Bang! Bang bang bang!"
At that point, the guards in the prison finally began to attack the vehicle leading in convoy attacking them.
The Governor's car glass was pierced in an instant by numerous bullets and the driver's head was blown to pieces like a watermelon by a sniper rifle bullet.
Seeing this, the Governor leaned to one side and reached out his hand to hold the steering wheel. Although the driver was dead, the car was still moving forward but control was not as desired and it crashed into the wall in a sharp sideways turn.
"Boom!"
With a loud bang, the car stopped moving as it slammed into the wall. The Governor didn't stop, he opened the door and quickly jumped out of the car. Although his plan didn't work out the way he wanted it to, at this point he could keep moving and get the same results.
As his car took the lead to draw firepower, the cars behind him took the opportunity to move in and line up beside him.
At this point, the people behind the vans and some who did not make it to the wall took cover behind the cars. Those who jumped out of the car hid in the back and after making sure they were not in danger, began to push the car forward.
The Governor, who had foreseen that it would not be at all easy to move forward directly, wanted to use these cars as shields for everyone to get to the inner wall, and then they just needed to scale the base wall and at that point take the advantage.
As to whether there will be a loss of people on their side, this is not a question they considered at all. In the Governor's opinion, even if they all died, as long as he lived, he could recruit more people to turn to attack the prison.
The Governor who was attached to the wall did not look at the enemies who were attacking his convoy, but immediately shouted, "Attack! Start killing them - Martinez, take your group to the wall of the base!"
Hearing the Governor's call, they all advanced even further, and soon reached the base wall of the inner zone. To the Governor's surprise, they were not counterattacked by the enemy. Originally, he thought that the opponent would desperately resist, but in the end it turns out that advancing in this attack was much easier than he expected.
Just when they rushed not far below the inner wall of the city, the governor called everyone to a halt and began to establish defensive positions in place. And Martinez also began to move his people.
Just now he was about to climb the wall in the middle of the shooting, but the Governor took a megaphone in his hand and spoke in a loud voice.
"Listen up, all the survivors of this base! You are surrounded! Drop your weapons now and surrender, if you do we will not harm you."
"All survivors of the base, listen to my words and don't keep attacking..."
The Governor stood there calmly, repeating the words of persuasion over and over again, he was in no hurry. Seeing that Martinez was ready to move forward, he was confident to take the base even if the people did not surrender.
From his point of view, the group of people in the prison are simply idiots, wasting good fortification to accomplish absolutely nothing. In fact, all they need is for the majority to get to the other side of the wall, but not everyone is ready to advance so easily.
The governor found that the few resistance forces that had just faced him head-on had stopped at this moment, and he could only imagine that the severe lack of ammunition of those people was serious, so the expression on the governor's face became increasingly arrogant.
Secretly, he waved his hand to signal Martinez to start advancing towards the wall, while continuing to persuade people to surrender. On the other side, a little more than half of his people remained under cover watching the inner door of the base.
Martinez took advantage of the fact that the shooting had been had and led most of the people forward; his group was basically the main force of the Woodbury.
Of course, the invasion operation has to be led by people experienced in the use of weapons and also have good marksmanship. Before long, the Governor watched as gradually about thirty people moved into the corners of the base, with a smile on his face.
He could already feel that his plan was mostly successful, and he and his group were waiting for the other side to surrender, otherwise Martinez would destroy the enemy.
A group of Martinez people had just scaled the wall of the base. Once the ladders were set at the corners of the base, he discovered that the inside of the prison was empty. Without wasting any time, he made a few gestures, indicating for the people who were climbing up to split up and move forward in all directions.
These people quickly dispersed and lined up on the city wall, with their weapons pointed at the entrances and exits of the inner courtyard, waiting for the other party to poke their heads out and hit them head-on!
However, no one noticed that in the back and inside of the watchtowers, there were dozens of snipers waiting for their leader's order to start eliminating the enemies.
"You are all dead…" Airon muttered with a cold smile on his face.
