In a room inside the prison, Airon gathered all the captains of all the groups within the community and they met to be informed about something very important, each one had documents in their hands and passed them to each other.
Looking around, Airon sat next to the architect so that he could explain the content of the documents in a few words. This meeting was very important as it would transform not only the prison but also the ranks would be clear to everyone.
The people who were looking at the documents in their hands did not seem to pay attention to other things, carefully studying the content of this information. After about half an hour later, everyone finished reading the information and then Airon waited to hear their thoughts.
"How do you see the plans unfolding next, is there anything you should add or discuss?"
Everyone looked at each other and it was Rick who first took the initiative to speak, "Well, I heard the architect's words and I have read the information. Let me ask a question first, where are we going to get so many building materials? Just considering the eight meter high prison wall, with a thickness of three meters. Architect, how many materials are you basketing?"
Raul, who heard Rick's question, said, "Considering that it is necessary to build walls over seven hundred meters long. This would be more than fourteen thousand cubic meters of cement. In short it would be many tons of materials, the requirements to do this structure correctly are in the main blueprint report."
"Mmm, considering that it will most likely not be enough, where are we going to get that much cement, not to mention steel plates and rebar!"
Hearing this data, everyone's mood was slightly affected, the requirements to make this place as the plans envisioned was unimaginable.
"That's true, although the planned structure has a large demand for resources, it will not be difficult to find them. Around the prison by reports, there are a lot of abandoned construction resources. I have looked at various places when I went out to explore, but that is not such a serious problem."
"Even if this problem is solved, there is still the problem of steel plates. That material is not that common to find, am I right?" Guillermo interjected with a puzzled look.
"This can't be that bad..."
Hearing someone interject, Guillermo turned his head and looked in the direction where the voice came from, it turned out to be an Asian man named Glenn.
Seeing that Guillermo was looking at him, Glenn replied, "The last time we went out, I also noticed that there were large lots of building materials in an open space not far from here, but most of them were covered with cloth and straw. You couldn't see what it was, but you could see big things glowing, Shane and the whole group looked at them."
Shane, who was sitting next to Airon, also nodded, indicating that Glenn was right.
Of course, Airon had also left some resource lots that only he knew their location in western Georgia very close this place, if he didn't find what was being sought he had thought to find them while on expeditions, but Glenn seemed to find one of those spots.
"Haha that's awesome!"
Standing up, Airon nodded towards Glenn and said, "Since several points of materials have been found, we need to go to those locations and take a look. In the meantime, does anyone have another suggestion?"
"About the ranges it's a perfect thing to get an overview of the ranges and restrictions, as long as you don't have the sealed locations where weapons and food are kept, this will be good to see who has the clearance to be in those locations." Shane said as he looked at the bandanas with three black lines marked on them.
These bandanas were already being made by a group of women and men experienced in sewing, very soon everyone should have these identification bandanas.
Rick, off to the side, looked at the wall plan for a while, and now that he heard what Airon said he made a suggestion.
"Airon, I think a moat should be dug outside the outer wall, not only that can store water but also have a wide range of vision to protect it."
Rick's proposal was supported by Hershel and everyone unanimously, so Airon gave the green light for it to be raised.
Shortly after everyone's discussion, a much more perfect plan appeared in the hands of the community. Seeing that the plan was getting closer to the person, Shane and the others began to explain the scarf that would identify people based on their work.
This was accepted by all, and very soon the bandanas were given to all the survivors inside the prison. It is true that at the beginning it is confusing and some people make mistakes, but it would be necessary to at least have a little supervision inside this great place.
...
Early the next morning, Airon called all the people in the prison with authority at all levels to hold a meeting and briefed everyone on the plan discussed.
Merle leaned close to a group that was discussing nonsense. With an intimidating look, he moved closer and closer to the face of a young man named Carlos, Carlos' face instantly turned ugly and he asked, "Excuse me, is something wrong?"
Without moving, Merle looked at Carlos, rested his shoulder on Carlos' shoulders and said, "Am I the only one who thinks tissues are big shit? I can get confused and use it to wipe my ass, what do you guys think?"
"Shh, if someone listens to you, it might get you in trouble, I think it's definitely a good choice considering people who want to do harm to our community. It was really scary when we ran into some thieves, it was good that everything was resolved quickly back then".
Carlos normally always likes to strike up a conversation with all people in general, there are even times when he is quiet due to his mouth not stopping.
"I think the same, this is a good idea to classify the ranks and as said have a clear restriction of zones where not just anyone can enter." Jim said with a sharper look, in one glance he looked at the class three authority bandana on Merle's leg.
Daniel stepped closer and said, "Well, considering this is the first expedition since we arrived here, the results will be important for development."
Merle looked at these new faces and nodded, they were good men and apparently well trained with the exception of Carlos. "Well, you're right about that, a lot of people want to take things that aren't theirs, what jerks. Well, I hope they have a good trip."
After saying that, Merle walked to the back of the room. He would definitely not be participating in this very small mission, there were more important things to do like cleaning weapons and drinking alcohol.
With a nervous smile on his face, Carlos took Merle's attitude seriously and asked, "He has level two authority, he seems to be a complete bum?"
When Daniel looked at Carlos, he said, "He has level three authority, he can become obnoxious in terms of his behavior but he takes care of training people and does it very well."
"Level three authority?" Carlos' eyes jumped when he heard that this old man had the highest authority one can have within this community.
Seeing Carlos' stunned look, Jim smiled slightly and began to talk about today's mission, "Apparently it's a materials gathering mission, large groups of people with level one authority will be helping to load the materials while one group covers the area."
After hearing that, Carlos looked around at everyone around him and said, "So, do all these people seem to be very strong people or does it just seem that way to me?"
"Well, some are military and some are police, no wonder most of them have the experience to protect themselves outside the prison." Daniel said with a calm look.
"I hope we don't run into any horde of walkers, it would be terrible if we ran into one up close." Carlos was really nervous.
After Carlos finished talking, he was about to turn around and walk away, but Jim grabbed him from behind, "Hey, don't worry, I'm not done yet!"
Carlos opened his eyes wide and waited to hear all the information. Daniel was also intrigued by what Jim had heard from the others.
"I heard that Captain Airon is the leader of the collection team this time. It is said that this mission will last a long time and the experience to be gained will be a lot, everyone is restless waiting to learn more about this captain."
"According to my research, so far everyone who has followed Airon on outside missions has not had any casualties. The most important thing is that many of those who go out this time will have the opportunity to get a present after the mission ends."
"It's amazing that no one dies when they go out with Airon, he truly is someone reliable and apparently everyone expects to go out with him today." Daniel looked around and pointed.
