"Get on quickly for God's sake, now!" Airon shouted with a somewhat unnatural expression, he had failed to remember a very important detail when he intentionally started this journey.
Airon meanwhile was slowly firing towards the nearest walkers, his shots were accurate and quick. Under his keen eyesight, cold-bloodedness and superior ability to act under maximum stress he was unfazed by this large wave of walkers.
"Bang bang bang!"
"I got your back, get in now Mike." Airon instructed his subordinates to quickly climb up the ladder.
The heads of those walkers had been shattered by the bullets piercing them with precision, it could be said that some bullets even pierced the heads of multiple walkers at the same time.
Just now Airon went into a trance and was only concerned with eliminating a large number of walkers without stopping. Completely ignoring climbing the ladder, he fired and kept firing.
"Airon, get up there now!" shouted Rick from above with a look full of tension.
"Bang! Bang! Bang!"
Switching magazines, Airon backed slowly toward the ladder and when he could no longer follow, he immediately climbed up. Halfway up, he looked down and looked at all those walkers with a cold expression.
Mike shivered a little at the sight of that wave of walkers almost on his heels, he couldn't help but feel cold and angry at the same time for the idiot he shot a moment ago.
At the top of the building near where Airon and the others had climbed, a young Asian man was stunned to see soldiers running away from the walkers. He noticed that those soldiers apparently wanted to take the tank when suddenly a shooting sound alerted all those walkers.
From the way those soldiers were shooting and moving, the young Asian man named Glenn knew that they were soldiers and was experienced with eliminating walkers.
"Sir! Are you all right?" Asked Mike, somewhat stunned.
"Everything is fine." Hearing Mike's exclamation, Airon didn't express anger or nervousness at getting out of this situation. His gaze scanned those walkers in the alley, obviously this was not a bad situation and he could get out of this city unscathed without any trouble.
"Alright, let's go upstairs." Rick said with a somewhat exhausted look on his face.
They had now exhausted at most two magazines, so this wasn't too much of a problem. The sounds of gunfire shouldn't have attracted the attention of many walkers either, after all there wasn't much noise in this place.
Soon, the four of them climbed to the top of the building and, as Airon was climbing up he heard Mike shout in a deep voice. "Don't move!"
"Hey, I was just about to help you guys up the building!" Glenn panicked as he saw two people pointing rifles at him.
"Hey, it's okay, it looks like it's from the group we came looking for." Rick calmed the situation and said, "Hey, my name is Rick, what's your name?"
"I'm Glenn, I looked at you guys just now and thought you needed help." Glenn looked at everyone with his hands in the sky.
"Relax, he's with the group we're here to evacuate." Airon Darcy looked at Glenn and asked, "Are you all right?"
"Do you know me? Wait, are you the soldiers that will come to our rescue?" Glenn's eyes sparkled and he looked at Airon with excitement.
"You really surprised me. Now I understand why you collect heavy weapons." Rick hadn't found the opportunity to speak for a moment now, and now he finally had time to catch his breath. Airon's performance made him sigh, the way he moved and shot was expertly done.
At that moment, Glenn ran up to the roof not too far away.
"Dude, you're too awesome, I thought they'd never come for us! Just back I thought you were people who had unknowingly wandered into the city, I'm so surprised." Glenn leaned against the sword, somewhat exhausted, but obviously excited, his tone was full of amazement and happiness.
"Hello Glenn, I'm Airon Darcy, this is the first time we've met." I originally wanted to evacuate you all but I found out that a part of your group came to the city for supplies, I came with a small part of my team to get you out of the city."
After saying that, Airon walked over to shake his hand. Rick and the others did the same.
"I know you very well. You're like a celebrity in our camp. You've been in a coma for so long. We even had to make a bet on whether you could wake up. Uh, sorry, but I bet you wouldn't wake up."
Glenn was blunt, and halfway through the speech he found it somewhat inappropriate, but Rick smiled and didn't care.
"Glenn, take us to meet the others. We're here to evacuate them this time." Seeing the conversation drift away from what was important, Airon didn't want to stay here long when what they needed most was to pick up the pace.
After turning around, the five quickly reached the back alley of the mall from the security stairs outside the building.
The intersection of the back alley and the main street was blocked by a bus, so there were not many walkers.
"We've reached the back door, there are five of us and there are two walkers. Find us!"
Glenn contacted T-dog on the intercom as he walked down the stairs. As he came down the stairs, Glenn raised his arms to stop the two people behind him, but found that they ran past him.
"Take care of everyone!" Airon ordered with a calm look.
Clutching a knife, Airon walked casually before launching an attack at the first walker that approached him.
"Crack!"
With a clean cut, Airon slashed through that shifter's skull and blood spurted out before the infected fell to the ground.
Mike and the other soldier named Jimmy took out several walkers with the same method, if bullets could be saved, there was no reason to waste ammunition.
When the back door of the mall opened with a "bam" two people came out wearing plastic raincoats and gloves. As the duo stepped out ready to take out the walkers, they froze when they saw that there were none left nearby.
"Give me your machete Rick!"
Seeing Airon's request, Rick reached out and handed the machete to Airon not understanding what he was about to do.
"Mike, let these last three go." Airon handed him his weapon as he prepared to do something he had never done before.
As the walkers approached in slow steps, Airon seized the moment, with several slashes, he took the arms off the three walkers.
Lifting his leg, he kicked the three walkers one by one. Airon approached, stepped on each of them, raised the machete and began to cut them.
"Puff, puff, puff!"
The jaws of the three walkers were severed, and a group of people looked at Airon suspiciously, not understanding the purpose of his operation.
Airon stepped back two paces and signaled them all to wait.
The three walkers struggled to their feet. Due to the lack of arms, two of them fell once, but when the three walkers stood up, everyone was surprised to discover that they were standing there silently, facing each other.
"Good grief, what's wrong with them?" Glenn touched his head and said in disbelief.
As the only quiet person in the audience, Airon shouted to the two unrecognizable people in raincoats.
"Is there a rope or something in the mall?"
"What, rope?" T-dog was still stunned. But Morales reacted.
"Yeah, I'll get it!"
Looking at the equipment of these three people, everything indicated that they were from some government group.
Mike for his part silently learned what Airon was doing. He always thought that the person he decided to follow was very smart and fierce, he even knew that Airon knew everyone at the CDC center and would definitely never make a mistake when making a decision.
Not long after, Airon took the rope and went ahead to tie up the three walking corpses, he also took out three ropes and tied them to the doorknob.
"Come on, it's time to check out the situation!"
"Understood sir!"
"This is mind-boggling." Glenn walked in with a smile on his face.
