After casually grabbing a bite to eat, Airon gathered the people together and started telling them the plan to follow, everyone agreed and climbed into the modified RV plus some vans.
On the streets early in the morning, a towering modified RV and some pickup trucks were driving through the streets of a nearby town, Jon Seda looked at the group and then said, "Boss, we're on location!"
Seeing that they were on the outskirts of town, the convoy stopped on the road. The scene on the streets was no different from other places, besides the walkers and trash there was nothing else.
No doubt when Airon and the others appeared on the road, they naturally took in the surrounding place as they watched which way to go. This was a big city and right now they were on the main road that stretched out on both sides.
"This city smells like shit!" Said Merle with an ugly expression, then sniffed to the side and came to T-dog's body. "No, it's definitely not the city!"
"I think the dog is another one, now we have a tracker in the group." Glenn said before he earned a glare from Merle and held back his laughter.
"You're a walking joke Merle, you should get a muzzle." Said T-dog with a slight smile as he was defended by Glenn's words.
"If I get a muzzle it will be to take the group dog for a walk."
"This must be a joke!" Muttered Airon as he walked away from the commotion being generated in the group, T-dog and Merle are definitely an explosive duo.
"There should be plenty of supplies in this place, if it wasn't for the unknown group of survivors it would be a perfect place to set up a survivor point." Daryl approached while holding his crossbow with both hands.
Everyone was pleased with the size of the town and now they were hoping to gather good stuff, definitely unlike Atlanta this place hasn't been touched much.
"Yeah, what worries me are the people that Ravi's murdered group ran into, they are definitely not people anymore." Airon signaled and everyone stopped dawdling and got into the vehicles.
The situation in this place was better than others, there were not many walkers as there were in Atlanta due to the fact that there were most likely no shelters at the beginning of the end of the world in this place. Under Ravi's guidance, Airon and his group found the bus stop easily, so several cars stopped near that place.
It was known that there was a parking lot at the bus stop to accommodate cars, yet there were still many cars lined up. This result surprised the group and immediately made them happy, but the numerous walkers in the vicinity made them frown.
With a single glance, they discovered that the parking lot was infested with walkers, numerous undead scattered around.
Standing next to Airon, Daryl looked at the general situation in the yard through the window of the modified RV and said, "No, this is not normal at all, it looks like they gathered them in this place!"
After speaking, he pointed to the door wrapped in chains outside the parking lot. His first observation was that there were people inside the parking lot, but the chances of that being true were minimal. You could see that walkers were gathered in the parking lot."
"No wonder we didn't find many walkers on the road..." Maggie said with a somewhat tense look on her face.
The situation here wasn't something that really bothered him, these targets are somewhat simple to solve. What was really making him uncomfortable was the people who did this, so he immediately informed Jon and George who were military to observe the surrounding place.
Ravi at his side, as he looked at the scene in the parking lot, said in a soft voice, "Guys, I think we should go somewhere else, there are too many undead in this place!"
Immediately a mocking voice sounded behind Ravi, "No, no, no, no, are you afraid my dear Ravi?"
Merle leaned his arms on Ravi with a smirk on his face, pointed to the noises coming from in the parking lot and said, "If you're so afraid I'll let Maggie and Michonne go to that place, what do you think?"
Ravi saw Michonne who was looking at him with a cold expression and then argued with a bit of embarrassment, "No, I'm not afraid, what I think is that we should be careful."
"Yes, I understand you."
"Stop talking already, you irritate me!"
Daryl interrupted the conversations of this group again, definitely the selection was wrong and that's something I questioned Airon on, all of these are definitely screaming out to die. Glenn smiled as he looked at the walkers far away and said, "It's not that bad, is it?"
After observing the parking lot for a few minutes, Airon did not interrupt the words of these people as they were insignificant. He was analyzing the way they gathered the walkers in this parking lot. Logically speaking, an experienced group has done it and they may be closer than they think.
"Jon and Sasha take care of looking around, George doesn't move from the driver's seat. The people who stay in this place will be in charge of protecting us not against walkers but with people, I suspect a group of survivors is nearby."
After saying that, Airon averted his gaze and said, "The rest of you should follow us and eliminate the walkers on the way."
Seeing that everyone had their orders, Ravi felt more uncomfortable under Merle's gaze, so he went out with the group as well and then sneaked up to Airon and whispered, "Airon, I will also help them eliminate walkers, I have a good arm!"
"Hahaha!" Merle's taunts were heard on the side.
Seeing Ravi's insistence, Airon said nothing and then nodded with a smile reminding him to be careful.
The walkers are numerous and too crowded to enter through the roof of the bus, it's not possible to do it silently and Airon didn't want to waste energy doing it melee. In the end, he decided to use gunpowder weapons to eliminate the walkers and reduce the number before mopping up the rest with cold weapons.
Before long, small bursts of silent gunfire rang out in the parking lot and the densely gathered walkers fell to the ground in pieces. Fortunately, there weren't many of them around so there weren't many complications.
When they eliminated a large number of walkers, Airon ordered them to do it body to body in order not to waste many bullets and to take care of the ones they brought from the base. Seeing that there were no walkers near the bus, this made Airon and the others feel calmer.
Some time later they approached the bus and soon boarded the bus not before checking that there was no danger. Then Glenn and Maggie approached with many keys in their hands to start the bus.
"Zizizi! Zizizizi!"
After many attempts, T-dog discovered that none of the buses would start, and Tyreese, who was standing off to the side, came over to check. "No, the problem is in the batteries, we just need to change them."
Airon looked helplessly at Daryl beside him, who also held out his hands. "Only George has mechanical knowledge, he can do it but we should get the batteries."
Carlos to the side said, "There should be batteries nearby, we just have to look for them."
After informing George to come over to better check the condition of the buses, he quickly spotted the problem and some needed new batteries and others were just disconnected.
After much searching, the group found a good supply of batteries. Under Airon's guidance, they looked at the dozen batteries and after some hesitation decided to take them all.
After half an hour a convoy led by three buses, a modified RV and two vans moved through the streets after confirming they all had gas.
Now that the group obtained the buses, the next step was to find the necessary tools to make some minor modifications to them. Airon wasn't sure he would find all of these things for sure, but how would he know without looking in the first place?"
A long convoy moved through town and they all looked in the stores in town, hoping to find a suitable one.
Under Glenn's observation, they found a store that might have everything they were looking for but were full of walkers.
The convoy also slowly reached the outskirts of town, which seemed to be an industrial area, and there were no residential houses around, they were all medium sized factories, but Airon's eyes suddenly stopped on a sign in the upper distance.
"This is the place George."
"I see!"
The convoy drove slowly towards the main entrance of the factory, Airon stepped out along with a group of people and approached the building in front of the factory. Ravi Kapoor at his side apologized, "Sorry, I said I knew a lot about the city but I had no idea there was metal in this place."
Airon waved his hand to indicate to Ravi that he didn't mind, then pulled out his gun and planned to take a look inside the factory.
Carlos and Michonne behind them followed him. Ravi looked toward the factory door with concern, but finally couldn't decide to go inside. Merle, who was walking at the end of the line, looked at Ravi.
"Come on Ravi, I thought you'd be tougher, let's go find those fucking metal plates." Merle said as he nudged Ravi with a smile.
Although Merle has changed a lot, he is still the same person and the changes are not very noticeable. Walking towards Revi who had picked up the pace, Merle was about to speak when he heard something whistling near his ear and a clear shot rang out in the distance.
"Bang Bang Bang!"
As for Ravi who was walking forward bravely, his left chest burst into a mist of blood that splattered violently before he fell to the ground.
Fierce gunfire coming from a machine gun also echoed from the modified RV and the engine fired up as it headed towards the group. Daryl and Tyreese ran towards this location and made suppressing fire in the direction where the gunfire was coming from.
Under the numerous gunshots, the modified RV driven by George parked in front of Merle and Ravi blocking the gunfire. Quickly Sasha and George got out with a first aid kit and approached Ravi.
At that moment, Airon who was in the warehouse also heard the gunshots in the distance. He was aware that his group was possibly under attack. As he ran out the door, he saw Ravi lying on the ground while being held by Merle.
Ignoring these details, he averted his gaze across a gap for cars, I can see a group of people running towards his group. Aiming his telescopic sight of his weapon, he could clearly see a W marked on the heads of these people.
Airon showed cold extortion and only one sentence escaped his lips, "Wolves, you have attacked the wrong group!"
