"Now leaving Brasov" Demitri saw the sign to his left as he went ahead with his journey.
"Denzel"he called out to his coach man, "Yes sir, anything?" "The sun will completely out of the horizon soon so we need a place to spend the night,". "Alright sir, there's an inn a mile away from here," "Alright take us there, the journey will commence early tomorrow morning". Demitri said and the coach man nodded his head and continued driving.
Nothing but the sound of horses and the carriage wheels bumping on the road surface was heard until about 30 minutes later where Denzel stopped and opened the carriage door notifying his master about their arrival at the inn.
They had supper and Demitri paid for the room where they were to spend the night.
Early in the morning, they packed whatever luggage they had with them in their respective rooms and made their way downstairs and walked towards the counter.
"He was a healthy young man, I wonder what might have happened that he died so suddenly" Demitri heard the inn keeper say. "I wouldn't know but it took us all by surprise that's for sure," the girl standing with the inn keeper said.
The inn keeper's eyes suddenly landed on Demitri standing at a distance and she was startled for a second before she composed herself. "Oh sorry, we didn't realize you standing there." He didn't say anything as he watched her walk towards the counter.
He walked after her and pulled out a few coins and gave it to her ."For the breakfast" he simply said and started walking out . His gaze locked onto the girl that was standing their fidgeting with her fingers and as soon as her eyes landed on him, she started blushing furiously.
His lips curved into the tiniest smirk as he walked out boarding his carriage and continuing with the journey.
Four hours down the road and the sign saying "Now entering Edensburg" was finally seen. The town's roads were filled with people going about their day. Not long after, they stopped Infront of a mansion. It's barred gates opened wide letting them inside.
On the steps leading to a mansion's grand entrance stood a man seemingly in his 20's but Demitri new better than to be fooled by his looks.
The man held a wide smile as he watched Demitri exit the carriage. "Lord Demitri! how nice of you to show up" he said and walked down a few more steps to shake his hand. "Nijel, take his luggage to the guest room" and the butler did as he was instructed immediately. "Lord Maduras, glad we meet again" Demitri said with a slight nod of his head. "Indeed" Lord Maduras said and they made their way into the mansion.
