The wind was cold. THe room was dark. All l could hear was ringing and screaming, ringing and screaming....What had happened kept on repeating in my head. l remained on the floor as blood oozed from me at a rate that even l couldn't tell. l felt as if my soul,my life and everything in it was fading

l was busy chatting with by best friend when my boyfriend called me up.

"Are you ready?"

"For what?"

"Did you forget about the party at Santo's"

"Oh shit !l definitely forgot about it let me prepare myself,"

l hang up the phone and began preparing myself. Later l sneaked out of the house because my overprotective mom would never allow me to enjoy my life. I found my boyfriend (Lucian) already waiting for me .l hopped on the car and kissed him on the cheek."Took you long enough," he said

"As if,"

"Ready to make this the best day of our lives?"

"Yeah , apart from our wedding"

"Don't you think it's too early for that?"

"What do you mean by that?"

"Nothing just forget about it"

l agreed half-heartedly and we began our journey. He noticed my mood after the talk and tried to cheer me up .l knew l couldn't ruin the night just because of the talk so l just let it go.We arrived at around 11pm and go to admit it,the place rocked!The decorations and LED lights were just on the next level.

My best friend (Axella) came up to us and hugged us then took us to meet up with her date and our other friends.We danced until 1 pm then we began playing games like spin the bottle, truth or dare and 21 dares .We then took a few sips as we chatted and just like that l blacked out. l woke at the car with 3 masked men. When they saw me awake they knocked me out and the next time l was awake l was in a dark room,bound on a chair.l tried to recall what had happened but all l got was a splitting headache. l thought of what those hooligans would do to me and that gave me more determination to free myself from their clutches. l searched the room for an outlet but all my efforts proved futile. Just then l heard my kidnappers saying something

"So, what will we do with her?"

"l don't know but let's just wait for the next instructions,"

"Can't we have fun with her for the night,l mean she does look pretty"

"We might get ourselves into trouble if we do that so just wait for the next instructions"

l felt kind of relieved that l was off for now but who knows what will happen. l quickly thought of a plan to get out of here when one of the kidnappers so me trying to release myself from the rope that had bound me. l instantly knew that l was in trouble so l brought out a conversation hoping that they would get distracted for a while.

"Who's your boss ??"

"That's not for you to know so you better keep that beak sealed"

"What if l paid you twice of what he's paying you?"

"You don't know what you're saying girl,"

*phone ringing*

He took the call and left me alone .l then realized that l had released myself from the ropes and since l had no other weapon to use, l decided to use just that .l continued sitting there waiting for an opportunity to strike. The man came back after taking the call and told me what l feared most.

"l'm afraid we have to kill but don't worry it will be quick, fortunately the boss wants to give. you an easy death,"

Without thinking much l got up and began hitting him when l realized how many loopholes my plan had.He could just grab the rope and shoot me but there's nothing l could do since l had already began.At first l thought probably l could get away but just as l had predicted he grabbed the rope and snatched it away from me. Without second thought he pulled out a gun and shot me. l knew that maybe just maybe l could still get out of here alive but the thought of how they could still escape unharmed haunted me so l tripped the gun owner and began competing for the gun in his palm with him

Other kidnappers heard all the shooting and came to rescue their leader but the shootings all over restricted them from coming near us. Thinking that l had the upper hand, a man entered and everyone paved way for him to enter ,even the man we had been struggling with got off the floor and forcibly took the gun.l remained at the floor as l glared at the man.He had worn a black suit and mask.

"l thought you'd be done already,"

"She's been giving us a hard time"

"So? How's that the problem ?"

"Boss, give us one more chance and we'll get the job done"

"Sorry but you've run out of chances"

He snatched the kidnapper's gun and shot me together with all of the other kidnappers. l laid at the floor, blood everywhere, as l watched him slowly walking out.
