I brought out my phone to call my dad,that was when Hazel broke free of the ice she was held captive in.
'Try to have compartion,he is your father for crying out loud,yes I agree I deceived you but I did it for your father's sake...'
'How on earth did you do it for my father's sake' I interrupted her before she could complete her statement,I wasn't ready for her manipulation and wasn't gonna fall for it this time around I had learnt my lesson now.
'As you know your father is a business man and he needs supports from companies like Mister Lucas here and when he said to partner up with us he will have to engage you.....I knew it wasn't possible,I knew you wouldn't accept so I did what I did just for your father's and us sake'.
I shook,I thought of how I had been so insensible that I let thus happen,how I had insulted them for nothing now am broken I don't know what to do,I was swayed and regretted my actions and it was evident on my face.
'You can even ask father he know all about it too' Elsa said when she finally spoke.
'And what exactly do I know about',a voice said on a distance before the face showed,immediately I had knew it was my father,I ran to engulf him in a tight bear hug and I whispered sorry onto his ears.
'What was that for..' ,he trailed off when he saw those that were in the room.
'What is going on here?' Their was no response m,I wanted to talk but didn't feel qualified enough to.
When his eyes met with the man he said 'Mister Lucas to what do we owe this visit to'
Lucas didn't reply but I did,'dad,I thought you were aware that Mister Lucas was going to marry Elsa,I mean they told me they had informed you'.
Dad looked surprise,shocked and confused,then Lucas replied 'Please call me Lucas,after all you are my elder.....I thought your wife had informed you and you were on board with the plan that I was going to marry,no,no,no,engage one of your daughter now then marry he later after we are done with school in exchange for a business agreement with my company.....' Lucas looked at Dad and continued ' ..judging by your expression I guess you know nothing about this...but your wife gave me the documents with your signatures in it...well I guess we have both being cheated because the daughter I chose wasn't the one I got, seeing that you have some issues to solve I will leave you to it....and don't worry I will see my self out GOOD DAY'.
He said stressing is 'good day',then head out of the how mouthing 'that's for wasting my time' towards Hazel.
Normally I didn't expect someone with is aura to be such a chatterbox but now I understand what he was doing,he was adding fuel to the fire for wasting his time.
As soon as he left dad said 'I wanted to surprise my family but ended up being the one surprised,hmmm,well any one gonna explain'. He said and looked each one of us,eyeball to eyeball
