'''Find me'' a voice echoes in the dark
Adrian opens his eyes to what seems like absolute darkness to the cold feel of drowning but somehow it felt comfortable.
Water drops into the dark pool of water creating ripples all over its surface .
Where am I ? He thought trying to move with no success "Everyone must be looking for me"
"Find me " the voice echoes again
"Who am I kidding no one probably is" ,he chuckled remembering how he lost his family to a dungeon break .
"Guess this is what death feels like " he murmurs as he closes his eyes willingly for his body to go to rest.
"Find me " he hears his fathers voice this time calling to him.
He's eyes jolts open shocked to hear the voice of his dead father.
"Dad?…is that you?" He shouts this time with his mouth listening to him.
With the motivation he finally find the strength to force his body to stand.
"Dad ,where are you?" He shouts into the darkness walking in a random direction.
"Find me" a voice finally replies startling him even more.
"Mom ,where are you?" He shouts back pickup up his pace slowly in the direction of the calling voice.
Adrian's voice gets shaking as he has been running for what felt like hours.
"Mom !!!" He shouts out again but only get the echoes of his voice .
"Why did you run away Adrian " He suddenly hears a whisper in his ear."why did you leave us to die"
This time voice can in form of Adrian's little sister
He turns sharply to face a disfigured clawed face of his sister staring into his eyes trembling with her blood dripping from her face.
"Im sorry…there is nothing I could have done" he cried covering his face in shame.
"You should have tried to save us" a voice whispers into his ear again as her jerks backwards frightened turning to the bashed in face of his mother with an eyeball hanging by a tread piece of flesh to the skull.
"There is nothing I could have done…I was scared" he replied shaking with his voice cracking from the built-in pain in his heart.
He stretches out his hands trying to reach out for his mothers face .
"I was scared too…but you just stood there" appearing from smoke behind his mother "you watched us die"
"I'm sorry…I didn't want to die" he cried face to the ground dripping mucous and tears onto his open palms unable to bring himself to look at his mother and sister.
"I'm sorry … i should have stayed" he swept bitterly wishing away what he had done.
Seconds turns to minutes.
Minutes to hours has he just knelt there crying out his heart until there was no tears left to cry.
"You would have died" a familiar voice spoke timidly "you did nothing wrong…you are weak alone "
"I should have died " Adrian replies sadly "then…I won't be alone". he voice full of pain and anguish stares at his hands now stained with blood from his encounter with his family.
"You don't have to be alone anymore" a new yet still familiar voice answers with a hint of happiness in his tone .
Adrian finally gets the strength look up ,he's family now gone with the darkness replacing their positions.
"We are here …you'll never have to be alone anymore" a voice replies from within the darkness sadness radiating with every spoken word.
"Who…who are you?" Adrian finally spoke up in between his whimpers dragging him up to his feet using his hands to wipe away the dried tears off his face.
"We are…You" voices like many echoes of a voice superimposed shouts out from the void taking the shape of brown ancient book with many faces on it.
"You've found me….you've found us…you've found you"
Adrian looks at the book silently,has felt an attraction like no other pulls him in from the book.unknowingly his hand has moved by itself and suddenly grabs the book from the air.
